ATX Roofing & General Contracting

We had a FABULOUS experience with ATX Roofing and our contractor Ty! We live in the Lakeway area and our home was badly affected by a major hail and rain storm in April of this year. We needed a new roof, painting, new window beading and new screens. We had 2 – 3 different companies come out to give us an estimate on work — our insurance was covering the repairs — but we really wanted to select and work with someone that could do it all and that was trustworthy, professional and local. After researching each company and speaking with them as well, we selected Ty at ATX Roofing. Ty was genuine, friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the things we were going to need replaced/​redone. He worked with the insurance company to make sure that we were covered properly and explained all details of everything very clearly — it can be a confusing process so we were very thankful to have Ty there to keep us informed! Once work began, Ty constantly checked in on the crews working on each job — he made sure we were always happy during the process and with the results. His roofing crew was crazy fast and clean! His painters worked hard and were super friendly. We HIGHLY recommend ATX Roofing and more importantly Ty… it is a great comfort to work with a great company but having an awesome employee there all the time to walk you through the entire process like a pro made this experience an awesome one! I had some wind damage to some shingles on my roof. I had called my insurance company who had called one company out who quoted me one price and then when they ran it through my insurance, it was $ 100 more. The guy did not even get on my roof. I know it cost money to roll a truck and I get that. I had first called and then contacted them via email after seeing them doing work in my neighborhood. I had figured since they were doing one roof, they could jet on over to my house and within 30 minutes be done. I had not heard back from these guys after calling them twice. I did shoot them an email and was contacted a few days later. I had figured they were just busy.
I got a call from Chris today around noontime. I explained to him what I needed. I just needed a «roofing minimum». He apparently rolled by my house and told me I did have a few shingles that needed to be nailed down. I had told him about the previous company that had come out and another roofing company who used to drum up business by walking the neighborhood. Chris was a straight shooter. He was upfront and honest. He was doing a job in Georgetown and offered to come out today, which I appreciated. He was concerned that it was going to rain in the next few days and suggested I better get my roof fixed before it started raining. I called Chris back an hour later and his crew swung by after 530pm.
I appreciate Chris’ professionalism. I will definitely be calling these guys again.

I called ATX Roofing after the recent high winds we experienced. Many neighbors had mentioned they had roof damage and I found shingles in my yard… wasn’t sure if they were from my roof. ATX came out that same day, performed a free inspection, and let me know that there wasn’t any major repair needed. They also glued some loose shingles free of charge! They’re honest, trustworthy, courteous and professional!

We were very happy with ATX Roofing, and would recommend them to anyone. Chris Elsner was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He matched the price of another quote I had received, and even threw in a couple of gutters at no additional charge.
The crew was very diligent and hardworking. I was impressed as to how they cleaned up the yard so thoroughly, picking up every little scrap of old roofing, nails, etc.
And this is silly, but we had a bird’s nest in one of our fence plants with three newly hatched fledglings that I was concerned would be harmed from the old roof being tossed to the ground, and the crew was kind enough to work around them. All babies survived the ordeal!
ATX is local, they know what they’re doing, and they have great customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a new roof.
