We just completed having new Hardie Board Cement Siding installed on the upper floor of our mostly brick house. From start to finish, this was an excellent company to work with. Our salesman Jerry, was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Paul, the owner was never more than a cell phone call away even when he was with his family out of state over the holidays. He called me to see how things were going and answer any questions I had.
Kevin oversaw all aspects of the project even though I didn’t see him until the final day for the punch list and final inspection. The painters got a little carried away with removing vines on the brick to give a clear path to the soffit and facia and this could have been better communicated up front. I would have done a better job of getting ready for them to paint. However, I have to stick with a 5 star rating. There may be cheaper companies out there to deal with, but I’ll bet there are none better!

As a business owner I really appreciate the care and concern that Paul the owner takes. He takes a lot of pride in every aspect of his business. He came by probably more than he needed to just to check on the quality of work his teams were doing. His teams did great work and were very professional. They paid a lot of attention to detail.
We hired Paul for new windows, siding, and even had him paint our house. I highly recommend him.

I got three estimates on my windows and siding and I chose Paul because he showed the most interest in my house and he is also the owner! He went over everything with me and he earned my business. The work was done on time and for the exact price of the estimate. His crew did really great work and I couldn’t be happier. The hardi planks are beautiful and I’m blown away by these awesome Windows. So much quieter inside now and way more energy efficient. Chuck, Kevin, and the rest of the crew were careful with my home and kept me on the loop which is really great since I’m picky about how I like things. Our house was broken into in the morning, and Austin Pro was one of the first calls we made. Since the burglars only broke glass, they referred us to a few numbers for just glass repair. One of these was able to get our window replaced within an hour of calling.
Austin Pro deserves praise for keeping great contacts, helpful people, and at the very least, a nice finder’s review. Thank you so much!

Paul and his team were tremendous. The work was top notch, handled professionally and most importantly, on time. I had siding removed and replaced and the painted. Paul’s and his crew paid attention to all the details. After the job was done, both Paul and Kevin walked the job site, and made sure all the finishing touches were addressed. They were thorough in both their prep and clean up. Two Big Thumbs Up! I agree with the other reviewers, Paul is a great guy, friendly, caring and professional.

So, after couple other estimates and how high the price of windows seems like and everyone was pitching their brand of windows. So, I got on Unilocal and wanted to get the 7^th estimate and I found Paul and he was the most reasonable offer and was able to work around our schedule in installing the new Windows. He called us couple times to check on the delivery and walked around to triple check the measurements and his crew was friendly and trustworthy. Foreman was very nice and made sure his crew cleaned up and put back the furniture right. Came in and did an awesome job. 5 stars ratings! Very nice people so if you’re looking for housing windows please give him a call!

I actually got several different bids on getting my house that was long overdue for it, resided. While all my bids were decent I choose Austin Pro Siding and Windows for a few reasons. Paul the owner showed up on time on a day it was pouring rain. He cheerfully measured my home (in the rain) then came inside and sat down with me to talk about what I wanted. While most companies I had gotten bids from had only a few styles and colors of Hardie products Paul offered a variety of different styles and colors. I was shocked when I was told it was all the same price when I had been told different by other companies. I also got bids from Paul to add two picture windows in my home on walls that did not have any windows at all. Austin Pro Siding and Windows was not the cheapest bid I got, but it was not the highest either. Plus we were able to choose a style we loved and the color we wanted.
First Paul’s crew came and installed the windows. Chuck is the name of the carpenter and when I say he is amazing, I mean he is amazing! My neighbor is a building inspector and was very impressed by the work Chuck and his team did. Chuck is very professional and considerate and treats his crew with the same level of professionalism. They worked harmoniously and were very, very tidy. Chuck also installed a new French door at my sister’s place. All my sister kept saying was how nice Chuck is to his crew and what a great job they did on her door.
We also had some mason work done on the outside of the house where one of the new windows was installed. I forgot the mason guy’s name but you can tell he had been in the trade forever as he did a nice artistic design around my window, instead of just putting the brick back.
Now down to the brass and tacks, Kevin, his crew installed the siding. These guys worked from 8am-​8pm in 100 degree heat almost nonstop. They got it up and looking like a new house in two days. Afterwards the paint crew came and did the same thing, in two days the paint was done. We got EXACTLY what we wanted, the Custom Colonial Smooth in the Boothbay Blue with Arctic White trim. It looks amazing!!! We LOVE the color!
These guys are Class Acts, they know what they are doing, and they do it well. Paul will never leave you in the dark; you will always know where you are as far as the process. They clean up too; Paul came by himself and ran the magnet over my yard after the siding was complete.

I had them completely redo the siding on the backside of my house, which included a very tall/​high chimney. They also touched up other trim work around the house and painted everything to match my existing trim. They really did a great job. The workmanship was great, the follow-​up and customer service was superior. i will definitely use them again They really are the best company I’ve dealt with in years!

Paul came out and he is amazing! This guy was so friendly, knowledgeable, easy going and not trying to sell anything! He just gave me recommendations and let me choose! That’s incredible these days!
The cost of the windows were extreme reasonable, included installation, trim, painting the trim etc. the install crew were polite and hard working. Especially since we had a 12 month old baby taking naps they worked on opposite windows of the house.
There was a small issue with one of windows that I would have never have noticed but they pointed it out to me and Paul was immediately on it and making sure the manufacturer would come out and fix it and it was fixed within a week!
I highly recommend this company!
Other places may have windows but Austin Pro Windows those too and it has heart!

After getting bids for siding, Austin Pro Siding and Windows was, by far, the BEST option! Paul was extremely accommodating to our specific needs and he even honored a special discount that we were technically too late for. We waited months after our initial meeting before we finally made a decision and Paul checked in and kept in touch the whole time. He was very understanding of our situation, with a baby on the way, so he made sure our job was done quickly, but without compromising the quality. Our house looks amazing!

This is only about the quote process. I contacted a number of different vendors to get quotes on HVAC, siding, windows, and roof. Of the 12 vendors I met with, Pro Siding was the only one who did not get me a quote by the either the end of the visit or by the end of the day at the very latest.
I let our sales rep know on several occasions that it would be impossible to meet again due to busy work schedules and wanting to make a decision quickly. I was told that they really wanted to meet again so that we could get a good understanding of the work done and they would have a chance at earning our work. Because of the lack of flexibility to get me a quote ASAP they automatically lost out on the contract. I don’t know how people are able to make multiple appointments to get quotes. Was very disappointing since Austin Pro Siding had such great reviews

We received a beautiful front window that completely transformed the curb appeal of our house. The product, Don Young Windows of Texas, is beautiful and sturdy. The ordering process and installation was completely top notch. The entire process was timely and pleasant-​who would guess when it comes to any home contracting work! We received a very fair and excellent price. We only wish that we knew about Paul, with ProSiding, when we first had window replacements 7 years ago!

I have waited a couple months to write this review.
I live in a 25+ year old house. The Masonite on the side and back of the house have been going downhill for 5 years. Finally this spring it started to get really bad.
Exploring options and couldn’t;t find anyone to do a «path job: or «quick fix» so bit the bullet and had all of the Masonite siding with Hardieplank.
Got four different estimates. Austin Prop Sidings and Windows was the low estimate and their sales rep (not Paul, bu forgot name) seemed like a real straight shooter.
Very pleased with Paul, the sales rep, the work manager, the guys who installed the door (also had read door replaced), and the painters and caulkers.
The reason this is not a 5 star rating is the work crew that actually installed the siding.
Hard working buys, but a ton of small problems. I had to contact Paul and the work manager to get these things corrected.
Case in point. Paul calls Wednesday night around 83;0 saying they are going to start tomorrow. Great! No problem. The crew shows up mid morning on Thursday. Their hearts don’t seem into. Looks like rain they say. And yes it rained a little bit. So the crew dumped a bunch of material and then took off for the day. I was informed they would not be back until Monday. Unfortunately they choose to park a bunch of hardieplank right on the sidewalk. Not the driveway, not the backyard, not the side of the house. The sidewalk. Had to make multiple calls to get the stuff moved so as to not get a letter from the home owners’ association. Who dumps building material on a sidewalk Thursday morning with no intention of coming back until Monday?
Other than that main work crew, very happy with everything else.

I called Austin Pro today and spoke with Paul. I was hunting down some Simonton Windows and Austin Pro is listed as an authorized dealer-​installer on the Simonton website. Paul was quickly able to answer my questions and provided great insight. It is nice to deal with knowledgeable/​friendly people.

My wife and I just had two new windows installed to brighten up our cave like living room. These were completely new installs, in other words there were no windows there previously. I’ll keep this short on sweet:
The salesman, Greg Anderson was friendly and knew his stuff.
The whole team communicated great. (never left me in the dark wondering what was going on).
Their pricing was what I expected.
They showed up when they said they would, provided what they said they would, did great work and cleaned up neatly.
Most importantly they got the job done in a timely manner.
I’m satisfied and would use this company again.

Like night and day!
We had 30 year old defective siding that was rotting in places and that rot was getting to the frame. We called several local companies and agreed to use Austin Pro Siding & Windows. They were a little less expensive than others, but the from the initial responsiveness to the no pressure, informative sales approach that night, we were left with a very good feeling for such a massive job.
We went with the lap Hardie and they were able to start work 2 – 3 weeks before we thought they would be. The crew worked long days and nights, making quick work of the old siding and then wrapping the house. Each day I came home from work, another side or large section was done. Each step of the way there were inspections and communication. We have a large house with a ton of siding and they finished a day faster than we were thinking. The final painting and punch out details were done in a day and the end result is we have a home that looks new, that was beyond our expectation and raise the value of our home. They went the extra mile, beyond what we had discussed, to produce a phenomenal quality result.
A great group of people. Integrity, communication, transparency, quality work and just plain nice.
This is a huge investment for any homeowner and I would not hesitate to recommend Austin Pro Siding & Windows.

Summary:
Austin Pro Siding was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning. Professional, meticulous, excellent work product, kept the site clean, very responsive, and even quick. I highly recommend them.
Details:
We used Austin Pro Siding to reside our small house (about 850sf) 20 – 25 outside of Austin, between Batrop and Elgin — in other words, off the beaten path. Nonetheless, owner Paul and his crew treated us as if we were a huge job for them.
I called Austin Pro Siding and one other to get estimates. Paul himself came out and offered to come in the evening after work if that was better for us. We were impressed with both companies, but Paul seemed a bit more involved somehow, and his price was about 10% lower than the other guy, even with the other guy giving us a discount for a friends’ referral.
Knowing we’re trying to get work done quickly to get our house on the market, Paul moved us up on his calendar as far as he could. He estimated 7 – 10 working days to complete. His crews finished the siding, painting, and punch-​out in 5 working days.
Paul himself came out at two points to inspect the job, including after punch out. He’s a little OCD about his work, which is something I greatly appreciate in a craftsman! As an example, after he had inspected the final project with us to all of our satisfaction, he sat with my husband and me on our porch for a few minutes chatting (it was the end of the day). He spotted a small water pipe coming out of the wall for hose attachments, with a tiny bit of open space between the edges of the hole in the wall and the pipe. He got up, dug some caulk out of his materials, sealed it, and dabbed off the small smears with a paper towel.
And I have to mention how responsive Paul was. Not only did he keep in touch with progress reports on scheduling, but he responded to emails and phone messages almost immediately, even on weekends, even though none were urgent.
Paul clearly has a great work ethic and high standards, wants his clients to be happy not just with the finished product but throughout the process, and he hires workers who fit that mold.

Austin Pro Siding just replaced the siding on our entire house and repainted the whole exterior. It looks better than any house in the neighborhood and our entire experience has been great! The price was better than any other quote, and they were able to get the material in and finish the job ahead of schedule.
Throughout the job Paul checked in to make sure we were okay with the progress and to make sure the details were right. Every single item was perfect before he even brought up final payment — more than I can say about some other contractors…
Easy to work with, good price, great quality. I’ve already recommended them to my neighbors and would to anyone.

Where to begin…
I guess I’ll start with the good:
Paul was a nice enough guy.
The window quality seems pretty solid.
The warranty is great with double lifetime on all but one of our windows and lifetime on that one.
The other stuff:
We ordered 11 of the Simonton Prism Gold windows in White Vinyl. On the day of install, I received a call from Paul saying, «it looks like the warehouse missed a window, oh, and by the way, your windows are beige prism bronze .» WTF. I was encouraged to go take a look at the windows and not rush to a decision about removing them and getting white vinyl put in. So, I go to the house, the install guys had slowed down the progress on my hardwood floor install. The windows were beige while the trim through my entire house is white, so yes, they look horrible.
I was offered a substantial discount to keep the windows. But after about 2 minutes of thinking, «wait a second, we didn’t put all this attention to detail in the rest of our remodel only to have windows that didn’t match throughout our house,» we decided to have them removed and have the white windows installed.
The problem with this plan is twofold. One, since they installed beige windows, they used beige caulking which would have to be removed, pulling away our new paint with it. Two, since the windows would have to be reordered, we would have to wait another three weeks before a reinstall. So, since the only reason we picked APS&W, was because they could get our windows in before our move in date, we now had to move into the house, unable to install the security system, and would have to have a crew come and disrupt our house once more.
So, white windows were ordered we received about 400 $ off of the bill and everything was on its way. We survived without the security system and one old metal window for about 3 weeks. Then, install day arrives. Raiders Custom Exteriors lead the install. The main guy, Steven came by in the morning, we discussed some details of how I wanted the quarter-​round removed on all the windows. he said «all, ok sure, we’re running late should be over in an hour.»
Window crew arrives, lead from that group, Tommy comes up, we discuss the quarter round, he says «all, ok sure, the other part of the team should be here soon.»
I made sure we had white windows and went to work.
I come back later in the day to do a walk through. What do I see? Quarter round on half of the windows. «Ok, take it off, we talked about this» «oh, I thought we decided to leave it on where there was brick» «no take it off» «all, ok, sure»
I hear grumbling from upstairs as the guys doing the actual work were told they had to remove quarter round and re-​caulk. Big man comes through and tells them to go light on your caulk we’re running low. I don’t bother with this, who even knows how this will affect me in the long run.
They cleaned up, we paid the balance, they left. At the end of the day, we got all the windows in the color we ordered. One window opens the opposite of the way we ordered it, but by the time they had it in the wall I was done with the whole ordeal.
I’m sure good work can be done by this same crew, but our experience was not that at all. This was Paul’s first time with this crew and apparently his first time ordering windows. Blame was ultimately placed on the warehouse, but who even knows.
Bottom line with all of this, go somewhere a little bit more established with more reviews and a longer history in Austin.
