History

Established in 2004.

We pride ourselves in Customer Satisfaction. In 2004 Austin’s Connection Company began performing Commercial telephone and data installations in the Austin Area and soon expanded into the Structured Wiring of new home builds and residential telephone and data installations. The next step was moving into Home Theater, Home Automation, Distributed Audio, and Control. Mike Schwarz, the owner, grew up with Electronics and during his 20 year career with MCI he was involved in many aspects of Telecommunications. He received numerous awards and certifications. In the fast paced world of technology today he continues to expand his knowledge with the latest training to keep pace with the constant advances in technology. We use only Certified Technicians if additional assistance in needed on a project.

I went into the Telecom business and after working about 5 years doing residential telephone installations I was promoted to a Central Office (CO) job. I worked the CO for 20 years doing something I loved, integrating new and evolving technologies that today is not only the network your phone uses but also all your internet. I had many titles, engineer, project manager, project superintendent, technician and I installed over 10 CO’s for MCI (now Verizon).In 2004 I formed Austin’s Connection Company to learn more on how this giant network works for the end-​user. Due to my earlier exposure to all this technology I quickly learned that whole house integration was very similar to what I did on a nationwide network. I decided I wanted to focus my efforts to bringing my customers the best that the current technologies have to offer at the most economical pricing. I believe in being here for my customers whether they just need a single cable or an entire audio/​video experience.
