Beautiful Me

Andrea knew I was super nervous to get my eyebrows done and she seriously ALWAYS makes them look fantastic, eases my nerves, and basically just is amazing with brows. She was the first person I went to in Austin and I won’t go anywhere else now!

Tracy (the owner) is the best! My acne was pretty bad and I was going to her weekly for about a month for facials, peels, and extractions. My skin has never looked better. I now go monthly and am more confident in my skin that I have been in a long time.
Her pricing is very affordable and the products are amazing quality. Her spa room is very cozy and relaxing. Tracy is kind, friendly, and has a very calming demeanor. I love her and will continue to recommend her to anyone!

Tracey is so kind and caring. She focuses in on you so that she can give you exactly what you want. I think each person is different and has different skin and she really listens to what you say.
I went to Beautiful Me for a photo facial and, no lie, two days later someone guessed my age to be more than a decade younger than my actual number (yes, he thought I was 12. Just kidding) Anyway, not that I need to be super young, but I think she just knows how to make you look better.
Tracey has been doing laser treatments for years and she’s really knowledgeable and professional.
She also does facials and other skin treatments. All five stars here for Beautiful Me!

I had a big photoshoot coming up. I was nervous to do it, but I knew my eyebrows needed some serious help. Andrea walked me through the process and then dyed my lashes and brows and then waxed them. I have never in my life been so happy with my brows. They are finally the right shape. I cannot recommend them enough, Andrea is a real deal artist. I will be going back for sure.

Looking for a place over Unilocal I found Beautiful Me and it interested me for being a 5 stars place with many great reviews.
I scheduled a eyebrow waxing very easy over their website and I’ve been there yesterday.
Pretty close to my place, great location in South Lamar, private parking lot, people very friendly at their front desk.
Just make sure you have the address because it’s a small commercial building and there is no sign outside with their name so keep looking for their suite number and go ahead.
I scheduled it with Tracy and it was a great surprise meeting her.
She is a great professional and person. So friendly and lovely. She wants to make sure that you are feeling comfortable and if you are liking what she is doing or not. I was feeling home there like I knew her for a long time ago!
I recommend it and if you check in there on Unilocal you get a $ 5 off!

Not too hard to find if you pay attention. Building itself is not fancy, but the Beautiful Me room was nicely decorated and clean. Not gonna lie — my first Brazilian was a bit painful. However, Andrea was very professional, friendly, kept me at ease, and got the job done quickly. YES, I will go here again when in town.

Since I know that I personally rifled through Unilocal reviews of waxing salons to find out what this whole deal would feel like, I am going to write a brief note to that girl (or guy) sweating bullets before their appointment: YES it hurts, BUT only briefly. Your eyes will water and your nose will run, but the pain was quick to dissipate. I got through it by Lamaze-​style exhalations during the yanking parts. It was a totally manageable pain, and if you have a buddy there with you, they’ll forever worship you as a Deity of Strength and Power.
Onto the actual review:
Beautiful Me shares a space with another skin care suite, so it actually took me a bit to figure out where they were located. The room where I had my appointment was super cozy– super comfy furniture, low music, ambient, warm lighting…
The waxing itself went a lot faster than anticipated, as my waxer was quick and economical and I opted to take no breaks. Here’s where it gets a bit personal and slightly dicey… hence why it took me so long to write this review (my appointment took place in early Sept. 2015). Right near the beginning of the waxing process, my waxer seemed to have some problems with pulling the strip– tugging and wrenching fruitlessly on a particular spot. Maybe she was too short to follow through with the yank (the lounges are pretty tall, I’m already nearly 6′, and she was just a short gal), or she overestimated the amount of skin she was waxing. Once she finally got the strip off, she then waxed over the same exact spot (because the first attempt failed), which I know is a MAJOR no-​no. I would’ve honestly been happy to leave with one weird spot of hair than have a waxer do that, since (if you aren’t aware) doing that can cause serious skin damage/​ingrown hairs. The rest of the wax went smoothly and she didn’t have that problem again. In my healing phase, I was 90% super pleased with the experience… in all the spots that went smoothly, I had no problems with irritation or regrowth of hair. But in that one spot, I experienced lots of problems with irritation and hair regrowth. Everything is back to normal, and I’m definitely not afraid of doing it again, but I do not think I will be rebooking with that particular waxer.
In summation, for anyone getting a wax, do your research on the process of waxing and really baby your skin afterwards. If anything feels amiss in your session, always speak up! If I would’ve said something versus just letting it happen I wouldn’t have to deal with months of displeasure.

This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax, my legs waxed and my underarms waxed so I was a bit nervous, but Andrea made me feel completely comfortable right away! She has incredible customer service and is both funny and calming at the same time. She explained to me what was going to happen step by step so I knew what to expect, and was very detailed in what I should do post-​wax care as well! She made the procedure so painless, which was surprising because I’ve read that especially Brazilians are painful! will 100% go back to see her, and would recommend Andrea to anyone and everyone!

Tracy at Beautiful Me is an artist. I had no idea how what a big difference it makes when someone shapes your brows in such a strategic way. She takes time to really do a wonderful job. I have also become a laser customer as well. And such a warm and friendly environment. I highly recommend Beautiful Me.

I had an appointment with Andrea this morning and it was probably the best waxing experience I’ve ever had.
First — for those who complain its difficult to find: simply read the email they send you the day or two prior. I followed their directions and it couldn’t have been simpler.
Second — Andrea put me at ease. She kept conversation flowing which distracted me, but even without that, it wouldn’t have been necessary as it wasn’t very painful. Probably the least painful waxing experience I’ve had.
Third — She did a great job! Probably the most thorough and precise.
Basically, just go. If I actually lived in Austin (I was just here on business) I would become a regular customer instantly.

Just moved to Austin and found Beautiful Me on Unilocal.I got a Brazilian and upper leg wax. Appointments available on Sunday, Andrea was fantastic. She texted me to see if I’d like to come in early and met me an hour early for the appointment. The place was very clean and comfortable. She put on old country music and it was quite relaxing. She does a very thorough job, no messing around and fun to talk to at the same time. Highly recommended from this cynical New Yorker.

This was my first wax, and Andrea made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. I felt like this can be something I do on a regular basis! I will be sure to make more appointments with Andrea! She’s the best!

So excited to find this hidden gem! I had a brow tint and wax, which I have always had done up the street and after today I realized all the ways they have been cutting corners to cut cost and that Beautiful Me does it right! I’m now a regular–

Tracy’s skill on waxing eyebrows and tinting them is nothing short of incredible! I had my first eye lash tint too. She is quite the artist. I always leave her feeling relaxed, and beautiful.

Okay I am writing this review after visiting Yazmin at Beautiful me. Yazmin is a new addition and I was a bit nervous to try someone other than Tracy. After getting my wax… I was so happy!
Tracy really made sure that Yazmin does the same practices in making you feel comfortable. Yazmin was sooooo nice, and the wax was one of the most pain free experiences I have had!
she is very thorough and detailed! She really did an amazing job! I’m so happy because now there are 2 experts that I feel at ease going to!
And to top it all off, if you go in the next 3 Wednesdays and schedule with Ms Yazmin, your services will be 50% off! I know… You are welcomed!

Edit: I went here in June 2015 and was just pending a review. so here it is:
It was a good experience, painless although i would’ve preferred hard wax than the one she used for a brazilian. Also most waxers hold you skin taut (at least in experience) and she didn’t so i felt like my skin was being pulled more than necessary. however Erika was sweet, nice and talked to me throughout. she also gave some skincare suggestions. I think I would go back if i was in town again.
The only thing I took a star off is the aftermath… i noticed whiteheads around the area and i’ve never ad the before. I texted Erika, and she was helpful in replying back with suggestions to ease it. Eventually it went away. I don’t know what it was but don’t let that deter you.
I would still recommend especially because I also had my eyebrows done and my brows came out great.

How have I never reviewed this place? Tracy is a gem! She is everything you could ask for in someone who rips the hair from your skin. She is warm, patient, kind, gentle yet firm, clean and precise.
I’ve been to several different places, but I always come back to Tracy. It’s a bit of a drive from Cedar Park to South Austin, but she’s worth it. All the prices are pretty standard. She uses the best products and with an expert hand. When you get a Brazilian, you also get your «treasure trail» included. When you get your legs done, she quickly wax any hairs you might have on your toes. She doesn’t charge you extra for what takes a little extra time and product. She wants you to have the best experience possible and the best results possible. I’m never disappointed when I leave. I hope to get laser hair removal next!

This was my first time getting a wax and the best experience ever!!! I am 32 weeks pregnant and was expecting torture! I have read about blood flow making one sensitive (with the whole pregnancy and all) so I was almost expecting a painful bloody show… it was the complete opposite! It is not painless, but I have had headaches and ingrown nails that have hurt 5 times more than this!
My wax experience was almost pain free that I am beginning to wonder if childbirth is as painful as I have heard some ladies describe it. I guess we will find out soon enough ;)
But yeah, Tracy is soooo nice and professional, not to mention very quick! It was over before I knew it! Many of my friends say I was paying too much for a wax but ladies trust me, it is worth every penny!
I will def. be going back to Ms Tracy!

I never thought I could give a business 4 stars that inflicted pain on me, but when I reflected back on my experience… I felt as though it went above and beyond on the customer service aspect.
First of all I signed up around 2PM to be on a wait list for an appointment that night… I know last minute is my life, I then got a text message around 5PM asking if I had any availability any other day. We worked it out to be the next day after scheduled hours because that was the only time that worked for me. So that was a super lifesaver! Next fun fact this was my first time ever getting a full leg wax and a Brazilian. So I was a bit nervous, but Erika made me feel like it was nbd. The Brazilian wasn’t so bad, but I feel like the full leg could have been better. She used this little roll-​on device that she said was used for more fair type hair. But then again I have nothing to compare it to.
Although this business did inflict pain on me… I did pay them to do so.

I simply love my eyebrows! Erica did an amazing job and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable about how to care for my face and what I needed. I definitely will be coming back to get my waxing done and facials. The room was very clean and relaxing and I appreciate how easy and painless she made the experience.
