I first went to James Bethke around 1970. An honest man. Always gave great service. I’d have front end alignment and wheel balance done on my car every six months or so. Had shocks installed on my truck, and replaced under lifetime warranty twice. Once in the early 70’s Two visits in a row, James Bethke told me the alignment was right on, no adjustment needed; no charge. Any other shop would’ve charged for alignment, who would know? I always recommended Bethke. Eventually I quit working downtown, bought a newer car with a warranty, so I didn’t get by there. A great disappointment to pull into Bethke’s one morning to find it being disassembled. An honest man.
