My favorite place in Austin to get a slice of pizza! If you like New York style thin-crust pizza that you can fold in half… then this is your place. Great service, great pizza!

First and foremost I am a native New Yorker born and raised in the Washington Heights(WAHI) section of Manhattan for 43 yrs. I moved to ATX in July of 2015 and as a New Yorker you eat pizza 4out of the 7 days of the week(PIZZAPALACEDYCKMANSTREET), I was going thru withdrawals by the 2nd month in I was searching and looking for a good pizza place couldn’t find one, Deli pizza place by Anderson lane was garbage, east side pizzas was cheese and sauce on a matzo cracker G.T.F.O.H and last nite my son suggested that we try the O.G. BROOKLYN pie place on Palmer. I couldn’t believe my taste buds I was back in NYC, so much that I almost shed a tear my son was happy my wife was happy… this freaking pizza is the real deal Fuhgeddaboudit!!! The service was great, the menu is great all you really need to make this a real Brooklyn pizza joint is to serve castle Jamaican beef patties and your set. We left the Brooklyn pie place giving each other chest bumps I even dreamt about the Slice, I dreamt about it so much that I went again today in the morning to eat another slice. Thank you O.G. Brooklyn pie Co. for making such an amazing pizza.

I’ve eaten at various Brooklyn Pie Co’s since I was young and I absolutely love the food. This location seems to be a little slower, in my experience. Still any amazing slice, and they have good lunch deals.

Ordered form here for the first time last night. I ordered online and then called them to make sure my order made it through to them. It had not so they restarted the system and got my order. About an hour and a half later I still had not received my order. I thought this was strange because I live less than a block and a half away from their store. I called to ask where my food was and they gave me the excuse of being busy saying that the driver had just left with it. When my order finally arrived which was right after I got off the phone the driver had left my desert at the store because he hadn’t read the ticket. The food that he brought was okay not great but it was still warm. My wife actually really enjoyed the wings she ordered but my cheesesteak was mediocre. The delivery guy brought my desert back fairly quickly, like I said we live across the street from them. Then once I finally got the desert I ordered it was still mostly frozen. I could eat it but something about ice in a piece of tiramisu takes away from the overall value of a $ 5.00 desert… I will likely give them another shot only because my wife enjoyed here wings but for a meal that cost me $ 39 dollars this was a HORRIBLE first experience.

I’ve been coming here since they changed the name from Al Fornos to Brooklyn pie co. I would highly recommend trying the cheesecake if you’ve got a sweet tooth, I hear they get it shipped from a deli in New York. Their pizza portions are pretty huge too. Much better quality pizza than Dominoes, Gattis, or Papa Johns. I consider those the fast foods of pizza. I’ve been there multiple times and the food is always consistently good, I never get a bad batch of cold chicken wings or pizza. Overall great pizza, great wings, and great desserts!

Awesome local pizza. Had the meat lovers, amazing! Cheese ravioli is the best. Only the first time but will definitely go back again and recommend to others.

They opened a Brooklyn Pie Co. right off Parmer Ln. near the Starbucks/Little Woodrow plaza. Super small spot, maybe 4 tables. Decent lunch combos. $ 8.50 for a giant cheese slice, salad and fountain drink. Toppings are .75 — Not exactly a healthy lunch though. The pizza toppings are tasty, and the cheese has some good flavor to it, where it falls apart is the dough. After eating such a large slice, by the time you get to the end crust, it’s the equivalent of cardboard with zero flavor.(As opposed to cardboard with tons of flavor) No cheese or sauce to mask it. The slice is GIANT, let’s not forget that. Salad is good. But the wait time for them to heat two slices up for my co-worker and I. took about 35 minutes from time of ordering. I would say go, it’s not bad at all, and worth the price! Just don’t expect anything more than generic pizza…

Our first visit was yesterday, we ordered a pretty basic pizza, but fell in love. The staff was super polite, very clean restaurant. We are new to the area, but so happy that we found this gem.

A pizza shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes and if it does on those rare occasions you should tell someone. Unfortunately these guys picked the wrong day to mess up. After dealing with poor customer service from @Uverse, telling me it’s going to be another 5 minutes was the straw that broke the camel’s back. So I walked out. I was on a tight schedule. And now my poor mom went without tonight.(Yup playing the mom card here). Oh im sure she was able to fix up some hot dogs or soup but is that really the same as some NY style pizza? So I had their smaller pizza last week and wanted to order the large to give it a better evaluation. Sometimes baking a smaller pizza takes away from the overall quality of a good NY style Pizza. Alas I will have to base my review on the smaller version. Short and sweet. It was meh.

Update, ordered $ 40 worth of pizza, we thought the order was wrong and had it remade, turns out they just make crap food since the second round wasn’t any better. This place is not worth the money, I recommend Austin’s Pizza for the same price or Sarpinos if you’re on a budget.

The worst queso and chips ever, i just have to go back and drop it off to tell them how nasty it was and the lady was so ignorant, she is like ok this happens every day. I would not recommend nor would I go back again. Its okay if the food is bad but it is really the worst if they don’t care to hear the feedback or try to correct it.

Much better! The husband and I took up the manager’s invite to come back and give them another shot. This time around, there was no issue in getting slices of pizza. The husband and I were thrilled. I sat in eager anticipation of my half of a slice of cheesecake while we waited on our slices to be heated up — just as I should be! We had a lovely evening out, thanks to some yummy food. The one drawback we had on this visit is that heating our slices seemed to take quite a while, however, we piled on the toppings and the slices came out perfect. Sometimes perfection takes a little time. The customer service was on point. The food was yummy. I can happily recommend trying this location. Pro tip: add pesto to your slice of pizza, because there is little in the world that isn’t made better with some garlicky, basily love on top. And get a slice of cheesecake.

Meh, this place is alright. We ordered the Greek pie which was OK but not worth going back. I’m always excited about a pesto sauce but this one just was kind of blah! That said, I know that pizza’s personal, and not one pizza will appease every pizza eater — so YMMV. The good news is, the service was friendly, we only had to wait a couple minutes after we arrived to pick up our food, and there’s a bar right next door which might make the pizza-eating experience all the more pleasant.

Ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and bell pepper. The sauce is too sweet, but the sausage is good. The pizza seemed to be very reminiscent of Papa Johns, so there you go.

We have had a few issues with service and improper cooking techniques at this location. So it’s been a bit hit or miss. But when it’s good, it’s great. Brooklyn pie has become one of our favorite pizzamakers in Austin. They’re a local chain with several locations in Austin. Their pizzas are thin but made with high quality ingredients and it shows. I usually prefer to stick to the classic cheese pizza, and the only thing it needs is a little TLC with napkins to soak up the grease. Yum!

The pizza here is solid. Good crust and nice sauce. Pizza is quick and if you get it right out of the oven, it’ll smell your car up with deliciousness! There is better pizza in town, but for nights when you want to grab a pie and bring it home, this place has you covered. Way better than most delivery pizza.

I’ve been to their Mesa store location several times and have always enjoyed their pizza. Crust is light and chewy and their cheese and sauce are exceptionally good. The Parmer location is a little hard to find, as they are located in the back of the shopping center next to Little woodrows. Parking was tight on a Thursday night. We ordered a large meat lovers pizza and 10 buffalo wings. The meat lovers pizza was delicious– the fresh garlic definitely brings out the flavor of the different meat toppings. The wings were some of the best I’ve had in Austin. Large jumbo wings, fried perfectly, then tossed in sweet thai chili. If I’m ever in this area again, this is my go-to pizza place!

Yeah the slices are huge but lacking serious flavor! The pizza slices are just sitting out uncovered on a tray, then re-heated, I’m a stickler for cleanliness especially in restaurants, the guy while he was nice(the girl is not friendly at all), he put my slice in the oven… took a smoke break, came back in took my pizza out, no stops in between. I will not be back nor do I recommend this place.

What I love: THEIRCRUST!!! It really is the closest thing to NYC style pizza crust that I’ve had in Austin. It’s foldable & thin but crispy in the right places. HOWEVER, the sauce has extra herbs in it compared to the fresh tomato NYC pizzas & cheese is not the oozy, stretchy, NYC style mozz. It’s more thin and pales in comparison. Size of the giant slice was legitimate– it was the size of 2 slices of pizza for $ 4.50. They have garlic powder like NYC pizzerias What could be better: Salad for $ 6.50 was not impressive– it was a styrofoam plate full of salad(not piled high– AKA not very much) when I ate in house. I was craving salad, but I probably would not order it again for that price. A bit slow– maybe b/c they were busy but definitely waited a good 15 mins for 2 slices of pizza to eat in house. To note: They have several small tables inside & a TV… They also take orders over to Little Woodrows next door if you’re craving pizza there.

We always get pizza from these guys at the other location on Mesa which has always been great but these guys were just a complete let down. We wanted to try their«white sauce» on half of our pizza but it turned out to be «OILPIZZA» and they claimed that it is a «sauce» so we asked if we could just have another half made with the red sauce since we were not satisfied and the MANAGER said«no, because you ordered it» … THEEND!
