I’ve been here for over three years, and I plan to be here for many more. I love the staff, and the property manager, LaTonya, is really great to work with. Anytime I have called, they respond quickly. My ONLY complaint is the painting in the units– nothing to do with the team or maintenance. The trim was put on without primer, so it just peels off at the touch. The former manager did offer to give me paint to fix it myself. I feel that’s a bit much since it was all of the units during that time that were painted this way. Otherwise, the grounds, the people, and the amenities are very nice.

I am going on my third year living at Camden Stoneleigh and I’m still very happy to call this place my home! The property is very well maintained, my service requests are taken care of in a timely fashion and the maintenance team are always so professional and caring. They even took time out of their busy day to help me jump my car one morning when I accidentally left the light on all night! The office staff are all extremely nice and very professional. They genuinely care about you and that you are continuously happy in your home.
My apartment has beautiful new granite counter tops, plenty of cabinet and storage space, a huge patio, and even comes with a washer & dryer vs. having to rent or buy my own. The pool is a great place to get out and meet your neighbors and there are even bbq pits in the courtyards if you don’t want to bother lugging everything over to the pool. In defense of the gates being down sometimes– things break, it’s to be expected at any community with access gates (key word «access» not security) but they are always taken care of and fixed promptly!
Austin rents are on the rise, but I am very satisfied to get exactly what I pay for living here. Complaining about rent increases is almost pointless as the population continues to grow here– Welcome to Austin! :)

I have lived at the community for over two years and have seen the conditions of the complex suffer. The maintanence of the property has not been a priority as evidenced by the front gate that is perpetually broken. The management is unprofessional and every request was met with contention. The lease price has increased over 14% and is now going to be increased another 10%. I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend leasing an apartment at Camden Stoneleigh.

I absolutely love my apartment with Camden Stoneleigh! I have a beautiful working fireplace, granite countertops, and my apartment feels very open with lots of natural sunlight! I do not have a single complaint for my apartment. The leasing staff is incredible and my work orders are always completed quickly! If you are looking for a new apartment home, I highly recommend Stoneleigh!

So far I have been living at Camden for 10 months, and have loved every minute of it. My apartment is super comfortable, and all work orders have been completed quickly and correctly. The grounds are kept in excellent condition, and the pool is aaaaamazing! Weekends over the summer by the pool was like living at a resort. Lots of people playing pool volley ball, music, food… Very lively and enjoyable atmosphere. On top of all this, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several options for apartments when moving from Jersey, and I am SO happy I chose here. It really feels like home.

I took over a lease two months ago.
Now I’m getting kicked out because of a BS clause in the lease.
Note that even if you abide by your side of the agreement, and pay rent on time every month, you can still be treated like garbage at «management’s discretion.»
Response from office staff? Heartlessly repeated «sorry» with a shrug.

Notice the façade they put on for a public site with the response. We discussed it plenty, and they stuck to their profit-​over-​people motives. Don’t be fooled by marketing staff.

I toured Camden Stoneleigh yesterday, and was so impressed with the office staff, I had to write a review! Molly Critchlow was so great! She provided me with 6 different quotes (3 different units with optional move-​in dates). She understood my need to take the quotes home and crunch the numbers. She was so patient in answering my millions of questions and gave a great tour of the complex. I ended up selecting another complex that had the storage space I needed, but Camden Stoneleigh would have been my second choice. Molly should get a raise!

I am a current resident at Camden Stoneleigh. Last weekend we had our secure mail boxes broken into. Camden contacted the local police department, which is good. However, they told us that until the post office can fix our secure locks (which clearly were not that secure) on our mailboxes we have to pick up all of our mail at the post office. It definitely is NOT right that we have to go out of our way to pick up our mail after our mailbox was broken into. It seems like the message is for us to go find your own mail even after it was broken into. Plus, there has not been an ETA from Camden on when our mailboxes will be fixed. I am very disappointed in how Camden management is handling this.

Been here two weeks and so far so good. Love the leasing ladies, especially Shay. I love my floor plan and until today I hadn’t heard anything or anyone, which is rare when you live in an apt. Maintenance crew worked fast. Plenty of parking. Did not give them five starts because the manager did not know about the pedestrian gate in the back of the property and to be the one in charge and not know how tenants would get out by foot seems less than professional. All the other ladies are the opposite of her and for that I’m glad. I also didn’t like only given one remote to the gate when I live here with my son. They want me to pay $ 75 for an extra one. Won’t be doing that. Also I wasn’t told where my mailbox was located or the code to the gates in the property. We sort of just figured all this out on our own. I know these are all petty things and I am happy to live here so far. I’ll post another review in a few months. Kudos to Shay and the other office ladies. Boo to the property manager.

I’ve lived here for a month. So far, I love the feel of the community. Beautiful pool, wonderful clubhouse and workout facility. The maintenance staff has taken care of a couple of minor items for me within an hour or two of my service request. I get email confirmations when the work is done. The quality and finish-​out of the apartment is very nice — much nicer than most other apartments I checked out before signing my lease. The community is super quiet. And the grounds are kept looking very clean and well-​cared for. So far, so good!

Just moved in to Camden Stoneleigh but love, love, love it. My apartment is great, the neighbors are quiet, the grounds are beautiful and the office staff is wonderful. I’ve already suggested this community to a friend who will be moving to Austin from Florida. As time goes on, I will update my review.

I have lived here at Camden Stoneleigh for 3 ½ years. The first 2 years were pretty great… except for a couple of issues. In the first few months, there was a leak in the 3^rd floor apt above me (I live on the first floor) and it flooded my bathroom, half of my bedroom and half of the dining room. New carpet was ruined. Although they came in to replace carpet… I suppose that it had shrunk from being wet and they kind of pieced it together so there were great gaps in between new and old carpet. Still, the next couple of years went pretty smoothly. The rent increased a lot during the 2^nd year, but I loved my location, so I accepted it. I was concerned, however, because the people that lived upstairs from me had their rent increased by $ 600, which forced them to move. Koti, the manager, was very nice and receptive to any issues or questions I had. Then, a year and a half ago… Camden informed me that they were upgrading apts and would only give me a 6 month lease. I took that once, then twice, and then the third time (each time with a great rent increase), they insisted that I would have to move out, or move to another upgraded apartment at a much higher rent. By now, Koti was gone and the new manager was always in her office and too busy to deal with me at all. She let her staff handle everything. Then, the staff began to leave and now there is a new group of people that don’t know me from Adam and don’t really care.
I noticed that the hedges outside my patio grew to incredible heights before they bothered to trim them. The gardeners would blow leaves and dirt onto my patio at least once a week.
The dumpster is right outside garage, however, they insist that I pay $ 30.00 a month for trash pickup. I have asked to take my own trash out, but, they will still charge the $ 30.00.
I called them today, because I have lost, or misplaced my garage door opener. When I called, they were totally unconcerned. I could get a new one for $ 75.00 and also, pay for the lost one… another $ 75.00. I don’t know why I expected them to be more friendly and suggest that they change my garage code so that I would be safe. and they would get me another opener.
At any rate… Camden Stoneleigh has lost their good, caring employees and replaced them with drones that are only concerned with renting apartments at a higher rate.
Being here for 3 ½ years has earned me nothing at all. The friendly staff has left, only to be replaced by trained monkeys.
This property used to be nice…
It is really a shame.

My husband and I have lived here for 1 year. We moved to Austin for my husband to do some work for the Supreme Court of Texas. I mostly stayed home with our newborn during our time here so I saw the complex at all times of the day.
We really like it here! The grounds are taken care of very very well. There is somebody up and working on the pool and landscaping every single morning around 7 or 8 am. They literaly scrub the gym from top to bottom every day. Every maintenance request that I have put in has been fulfilled within 24 hours. I even called the emergency line once to have them help me replace a battery in my fire alarm that was beeping at 10pm at night and I couldn’t reach it. They came out in like 10 minutes– TALK ABOUT SERVICE!!!
The apartment itself is nice. Very clean, nice appliances, very quiet. I’ve never seen a bug in the whole year we have been here. Everything works great.
Pool is very nice and perfect for my 1 year old. They gym is convenient and small but good enough for us. I like the wifi in the gym so I can watch Netflix while I’m on the elliptical.
The leasing people were wonderful, they are great with getting us our packages from our obsessive Amazon ordering :) They always remember my name and are eager to help with anything you need.
The location is safe and quiet near some really nice homes, an HEB, Costco, and Target. You are pretty far from Central Austin, so don’t expect any fun happenings in the neighborhood. Also, it is a bad commute during rush hour to downtown for my husband.
Overall, this place is great. I would definitely recommend it. We just can’t handle the commute.

I received an email from this establishment about a recent consultation — confused as to why I did since 1) I have never gone on an apartment tour here and 2) I love in California and don’t plan on moving anytime soon — I called their office to clear things up.
I spoke with Angelica Burrus, the person whose name was on the email, and she was very unprofessional. She didn’t share any of my concerns, such as the possibility of identity theft, etc., and simply said, «I’ll just take your email off the list.»
Burrus’ attitude exemplifies that the corporation and/​or employees of this establishment don’t care about their patrons — they just want money.

I have lived in Stoneleigh for over 4 years since before Camden has taken over. I am sad to say that as the years have progressed their appeal has lost much to be desired. I have always paid my rent timely and never had any issues with the office until this final year. It is impossible to even think of using our pool on the weekend due to all the non residents. Service requests are done 3 to 4 days after the fact and then do incomplete service and have to be called out again.
I personally pay for a reserved parking spot which management told subcontractors on property to use my space for their work. Once they were finished all the residue ie. cutting of granite countertops was left behind. I tried to talk to the property management and realized it was never going anywhere. I even tried talking to the area manager who assured me things would be different and they aren’t.
Tonight I get home from work at 9:15 walk to the pool and it is all locked up. The hours posted are from 9 am to 10 pm. To anyone looking at this property I want to make you aware of some things, they quote you a base rent price but then come the extras 1. Cable Time warner included in your contract $ 50 2. Valet waste $ 25 3. Water for 2 people runs $ 50 to $ 60. All these are mandatory fees they hit you with on a monthly basis.
Some time ago this place was a nice place to live, however, since Camden has taken over it has not been the same.

Apartments: very good. You’ll fall in love with it. Spave is very well utilized. Good architecture.
Maintainance: They come on time or as scheduled. You never have to wait.
Pool: Too crowded to swim in. People just hang out there and drink. Though that’s technically not allowed.
Pets: If you are a dog lover, you’d probably love the place. If not there are a few residents who dont use a leash and get angry if you yell at their dog when it attempts to climb on you.
Safety: I felt extremely safe while I was here.
Access/​Location: Very good. Easy access to mopac and sunset valley. There is an urgent care facility and walgreens just outside the back gate. And HEB is at a walkable distance.
Parking: My apartment came with assigned covered parking, so that was a huge plus.
Staff: Friendly, patient, helpful.
Rent: pretty high for Austin. The rate of increase is phenomenal. They charge you for cable and valey waste whether or not you want it.

Just completed my first year at Camden and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to turn in the keys next month.
So it seems since 2009 the pool atmosphere hasn’t changed. The comment below about MTV Spring Break is the exact way to picture my pool. Doesn’t help that the staff isn’t regulating when our pool is full of non residents who are probably all underage. But they do regulate asking actual residents for their «wristband» to access the pool.
I’ll give it Camden when it comes to events and free stuff. But that is not enough for how the management runs the complex.
Why do you have to enter every apartment to inspect the measurements of every cabinet? Why do you guys have to enter my apartment when you please every few months? I’ve never lived anywhere where they are constantly telling you they will be inside to inspect fire hydrants, cabinets, filters, etc. Ridiculous!
This complex reminds me of the complexes near campus. Full of loud students everywhere and management that has a stink face every time you walk in the lobby.
I would recommend this place if you want easy access to highway (mopac) but that would be your only benefit.

We lived at Camden at Stoneleigh for over a year. Some key points for others to be aware of:
— If you have pets, they charge you a pet fee when you move in. This is NOT a deposit. If your pet causes any damage at all, even a small carpet stain, you can NOT use this pet fee to cover anything. It disappears into Camden’s profits as soon as you pay it. This is true also for the monthly pet rent you pay. If you leave your apartment immaculate, you will never see this pet fee again. It is 100% non-​refundable.
— You may be charged for some repairs, even normal wear and tear. Don’t expect to simply submit a service request and have things taken care of. Even if the issue is minor, they may try to charge you for it.
— Be prepared for them to do an expensive carpet treatment after you move out (around $ 130) and send you the bill. If you did not cause any damage to your carpet, please take pictures before you move out. We were told an intensive carpet cleaning needed to be done when we moved out despite the fact we did absolutely no damage at all to the carpet. We were sent the bill and had to pay despite arguing w/​management.
— This complex increases their rent significantly when your lease is up for renewal. We were going to have to pay around an extra $ 150 a month to stay there. The increase in rent was a major reason why we moved.
— We also moved because this location is not great if you like to be close to all the happenings in Austin. You will feel like you are in the ‘burbs. It’s not convenient to much except Sunset Valley.
— About a month before we moved out, new people moved in below us. I watered my plants one night and apparently some water fell onto the balcony below. They complained. Camden gave us a verbal warning over the phone. As a rule-​following tenant who paid rent early every month, I was bit perturbed by that. I attempted to discuss the issue w/​one of the managers however I found her defensive so I dropped it since we were moving out anyway.
— The pool is like Mtv Spring Break if you go any other time than very early morning. It was not uncommon to see people making out in the pool and drinking excessively to insanely loud music. Alcohol and boom boxes are allowed at the pool (this may be a plus for some of you reading, but it was irritating when you really just wanted to swim and relax by the pool.)
— Lastly, the number of mysterious fees they charge you every month is nuts. You can hardly decipher what all the fees are for. It really adds up and paying «rent» every month manages to be way more expensive than you realize.
Find a nice, normal, down to earth complex with normal managers who aren’t trying to scam you every time you turn around. Sure, the grounds are beautiful, the apartments are nice. Is it really worth it if you feel like you’ve wasted thousands of dollars once you finally make the good decision to leave?

I liked pretty much everything about this place. It wasn’t the best place I ever lived but it was nice enough.
Ultimately the location just didn’t really work out for me as I took a job up north.

I would rate this apt. as OK-​3 stars is about right. I lived here for two years and I was pretty excited to move out when I did. The access to Mo-​Pac is great and the community was pretty quiet for the most part.
When I moved this one woman who worked there (who is now gone) was extremely rude to me. I don’t know what chip was on her shoulder but it was this reason why I never recommended this place to anyone I knew. Athena and Kallie were always very nice while I was there. When I was on my way out it looked like the new staff was nicer.
One summer day my AC broke when it was about 105 degrees in the shade. It took them about 4 days to fix it and they were in NO hurry to get it done. It was the most miserable 4 days of my life! For that I should have given them less stars but honestly time heals and it is mostly forgotten. If I was elderly or sick it would have been bad though!
Overall if you need a place for a year os so go for it!
