So for a trip last weekend to Austin, my HORRIBLE luck decided to follow me. Thank the LORD for Bryan Parker and his business because I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found him.
My battery decided to die on what felt like the hottest day of the year in downtown Austin around 7 pm on a Saturday. I tried calling tons of other numbers before turning to Unilocal for help. Capital Rescue charged me literally HALF of what everyone else wanted to, and I didn’t have to wait the standard hour and a half either. Within 20 minutes the owner himself got there to jump my car (since his other drivers were on calls and he didn’t want me to have to wait). Super cool, genuinely nice guy went above and beyond for me after my stupid battery decided to go completely kaput, this time in the middle of South Congress.
I was a little brokenhearted when he kept it professional (he was a completely adorable & irrestably charming man!) and didn’t accept my invite for crepes the next morning on top of the ridiculously low fee he charged me for all that he did. All he asked was that I pay it forward and do something nice for someone else :) But even so, the invitation still stands: D
So if you ever get into some car trouble in Austin, TX I would HANDS DOWN give this guy a call before anyone else. He’s an Austin business owner that truly appreciates and deserves your patronage.
