Highly recommend Manuel and Centex Carpet for any carpet/​paint job you may need. Prompt responses and service with quality work at very reasonable prices. They came out the same day for a quote and got to work on our water-​damaged carpets the following day. After their repairs and steam cleaning our carpets look brand new with no sign of previous damage! He really went above and beyond several times to get our house back in order and we couldn’t be more satisfied! Thank you, Manuel!

I would definitely recommend Centex Carpet & Paint. They came out and cleaned two area rugs for us. The prices are very reasonable (I recently paid twice as much for an area rug to be cleaned by a large company). The communication was great and the scheduling was very flexible. Great customer service!

They came in today — and did an excellent job! Was very impressed — they showed up on time and cleaned up the carpets very well. Much more thoroughly than some of the previous big brand name cleaners that cleaned our carpets.

Centex carpet went out and beyond again. They are professional. I love centex carpet. I have been using them for years bow. They really go out of the way to meet your needs. Manny actually came by after hrs, to clean the upholstery and area rug that was vomited on. Thx centex for always being our savior!

Absolutely amazing service! Manny and Maria were on time and immediately got to work. They cleaned my upstairs carpet and even the stairs which I wasnt expecting. They both had amazing customer service. Prices were competitive. I will definitely use them again.

I should’ve read Unilocal reviews. Went with Manny to repaint our bathroom. He kept site clean, did a good job in prepping site. He also did a good job at painting a light color over a bold rich one. Problem is the finer parts of painting are severely lacking. Edgework still shows the paint underneath! It’s either I hire someone for polish or do it myself. Really, they should drop the painting business… it’s that bad

Centex was great. They came right on time and got straight to work. They took measures to cover our hardwood floors before working and thoroughly cleaned each piece of furniture taking care to spend extra time on stains. Stains were removed and they ever put a pet odor protectant on at no extra cost.
Great price, great work. I’d recommend them and use them again!

Great service! When I called they had a friendly and quick response, they asked me for the location, and immediately they gave me a quote. The price was really affordable, I immediately asked when was the soonest they could come out to my home to clean the carpet in my living room. They said they could do it that same day, I was more than relieved to get that smell and dirt out of the carpet. Two hours later they called to confirm that they were on the way to my home, once at the house they were quick! They were super fast, did a great job, left the room smelling great! They were really awesome! They speak Spanish and English:)

I have been using Centex for my carpet cleaning for over three years. I am very happy with their services and especially like that they work on weekends. They were able to remove hard stains on my carpet that would not come off with regular cleaning. I highly recommend their services! I am also satisfied with the prices for their services. Manny and Maria are great. We are in the process of moving into a house that we had just bought and needed the carpets cleaned. They showed up on time and discussed options and cost with me. Since I had already received quotes from others, they were definitely competitive. An hour and half later, the job was done and the carpets looked great.
I will definitely call them again in the future.

Manny and Maria were pleasant, thorough, and attentive. I had some pet stains and they were able to come out the next day (less than 24 hours) and clean my pets messes. They got most of the pet stains in several rooms, and had very reasonable rates. I would work with them again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the quick turnaround, and for cleaning up after my asshole pets.

Manny is the best ever. We called late in the afternoon and he came right over to take care of our four cat issues. The house smells great and is so clean I would not hesitate to sleep on the floor. He is great person and the only one I call for my cleaning needs.

I called two days before Thanksgiving and asked if they could make it that day completly expecting a NO. Manny was very polite and said that that would be no problem. Now talk about kind and patient, I had to call and move times twice!!! When I arrived at my house, which was after dark, I was greeted with a smile and warm handshake from Manny. Moments later after letting the dogs outside so they could begin I met lovely Maria who was as sweet and hardworking as anyone I’d met. They not only did an amazing job they offered me options for my pet situation that I didn’t even know existed. They are truly good people and the kind of people we want servicing our community. They will surely be my go to from here on out!!!
Also ask about Manny’s bird, truly a story not to be missed.

Closed on my new (to me) house in Round Rock and once I saw the bare walls decided I had to paint everything before I moved in. Scrambled to find someone and called Manuel based on the Unilocal reviews. He showed up the same day for a quote, gave great advice, and was working the next morning. Got the whole place painted (with Maria and some others) in 2 days — looks brand new. Also sanded and painted and sealed my window sills (sp?) — very good work and even nicer people, and very competitive prices.

Well-​earned five stars.
My pup once attempted to dig through to China, under my door. He only made it to the base-​board.
I had reached out to another contractor days before I had a good time for the repair, but kept chasing them through phone calls and text, trying to get them out…
I made one call to Manuel at Centex, and he was available on the same-​day, a Sunday, even.
He was right on time, came well prepared, and to work quickly. Very proficient, the job involved cutting the damage section of carpet out, replacing the foam, and then matching a donor piece I had on hand to the installed carpet.
Manuel is very friendly and personable, and carried some interesting conversation during the job. Ask him about his pet Blue Jay, «Blue»!
The final repair was excellent, the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Manuel and Centex Carpet & Paint.

Manny and Maria have outdone themselves yet again!
The first time I booked them back in June, they worked with my hectic schedule and agreed to come to my apartment on a Sunday morning which was a huge win from the start. The carpet was really dirty due pet stains, but my apt complex didn’t charge me any fees or even had a clue that I owned a dog when I moved out, thats how good they are. I was blown away with the quality of the work and the attention to detail.
I just booked them to clean the carpet in my new home and once again, they did a great job! My carpet and rugs look great and Manny even fixed a section of carpet that was coming undone from poor installation.
I recommend their work in the highest regard and will use them again in the future without hesitation!

These two were great. They came the same day and Maria was ready to help me do any other cleaning I might need done while Manual did the carpets. They were very friendly and nice to talk to. Rates were very reasonable, job was done well.

I’m just getting around to this review now, even though Manuel and Maria totally bailed me out in early 2013. I didn’t know how I could praise them enough!
I was panicked about having to move and sell my house on short notice. There were several bad stains left by my friend’s dog and all for years, and I didn’t want the future buyer to claim a carpet allowance.
Manuel totally came to my rescue! He was calm and good natured and professional and quoted extremely reasonable rates. He came on very short notice. He also gave me fantastic prices for painting and dry-​wall repair, which I would have entrusted to him if I hadn’t already hired someone else.
The house was also in need of a deep clean, and he suggested having Maria, his wife, take care of that.
She was also very professional and nice and reasonably priced, and she was _​extremely thorough_​! She got some stains off the banisters that I had wrestled with for at least an hour. She also swept and cleaned the garage, which was a big mess after the geckos (gecko poop on walls!) and rats, and who knows what else had snuck in!
They both did an amazingly spectacular job, and used my spare key to get access to the house long after I had moved states! My realtor saw the house afterwards, and I got letters from the buyers praising what good care I had taken of the house, which was not true at all — all my offers were way above listed price!
Manuel and Maria really helped me out when I was in a bind. I highly recommend them both! They are both very nice and I like them a lot personally.
