If you want someone that takes their time & shape your eyebrows how they should be shaped by a professional. I’d say give Shiraz a try!

Maybe she could’ve given you a really good brow threading, but for god sake DO NOT GET A BIKINI WAX HERE! I don’t think any of these Unilocal reviews were on her bikini waxes and I didn’t do enough research.
I showed up at this lady’s house, got undressed and laid on her table. She brought in a plastic container with a metal kitchen knife stuck into it, and told me she made the wax herself. I was immediately concerned but I was already half naked and was too late to back out.
It hurt so bad and even after going over the same areas multiple times and finally doing threading, I still had patches of hair left. It was horribly painful and after I was done she put back the kitchen knife into the container and I’m pretty sure going to use it for the next bikini wax customer. Anyone knowledgeable about bikini waxes should know a good waxer would never ever ever double-​dip. I had redness and bumps for days. Let me re-​emphasize, DO NOT COME TO HER FOR A BIKINI WAX!!!
To make matters worse she kept saying how tall I was and Chinese people are normally not this tall. Thank you for your observation.

Finally! I have found a trusted place to get my eyebrows done! For so many years I have been looking for a professional that can thread well in Austin, and there is no one else I trust more than Shiraz! She is amazing. So friendly and so good at what she does. She threads with extreme care and has helped bring back shape and thickness to my eyebrows.

I used to get my eyebrows done all the time by this beautiful woman. After nearly 4 years of no eyebrow maintenance I dropped by somewhere else to get it done quickly and I will never cheat again! It was so painful and it was never ever painful to get them done here. Ever! My fault, don’t cheat on your eyebrow lady.

I have always had thick brows and messy. I’ve done the mall threading a once years ago, and didn’t care for it. I had figured I’ll give Chez Shiraz a try from the good reviews, and I’ll keep going back. Be been to her 3 or 4 times now.
Chez Shiraz is AWESOME. She is a wonderful lady, and does an amazing job. My eyes water less each time I go. All I can say is you won’t regret going to her. She is wonderful, nice, gental, and caring. As long as I live in Austin, I will go to her.

Amazing! I just moved to the area and was nervous about finding someone new to do my eyebrows. This was beyond perfect, she keeps them perfect thickness and the shape is immaculate. I will definitely be coming back!

I wish I had found this amazing lady sooner! She has a lovely threading studio in her home and makes you feel welcomed right away! Her work is on point, professional and QUICK. I cannot recommend her services enough. It was also super easy to book an appointment through the Unilocal!App. I will definitely be returning. I couldn’t gush enough about Shiraz. Today was my first appointment and I was a bit nervous, having never had waxing/​threading done. Shiraz was warm, inviting, and every bit as nice as my coworker Ashley had said. The atmosphere is wonderful; the house is gorgeous inside and out, and the room where the threading is done is very relaxing. Shiraz works very quickly and efficiently, but she is extremely well-​practiced and has such a good eye for your face shape. I was absolutely shocked when she finished (about ~14 minutes for both brows and lip) and I’ve received numerous compliments since. There’s a reason she received Best Threading from the Austin Chronicle! Will definitely be back!

Shiraz truly has as golden heart! She welcomes you into her beautiful house and takes you into her spa-​like room. Not only is she super friendly, but she’s also great at what she does. I’ve only utilized her for threading needs, but boy is she good. She takes the time to understand you and your needs before continuing with her service. Probably the best threader I have ever worked with!

I’ve been to Chez Shiraz three times now, and each time has been such an enjoyable experience. Shiraz makes you feel like an old friend you haven’t seen in ages, and I love that. I’m used to paying a little less for my brow threading, but with her friendliness, cleanliness, and just straight up relaxing presence I’m willing to pay more.

I just moved to Austin and was looking for a new place for my brows. I found her great reviews on Unilocal and second all of them! I have sparse brows so they never manage to look well shaped while keeping its fullness. She did both! They ended up clean, natural, well shaped, and beautiful. I also did my upper lip and that was with great results.
She is sweet, friendly, and professional. Her price is also very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back and recommend her!

SO glad I came here! This is done out of her beautiful house. Shiraz is very sweet, to the point, and I left feeling like a zillion bucks! I always tell people I want to keep the thickness of my brows and half of they time they don’t listen and I leave with pencil thin lines, but she left my fullness, shaped and cleaned them up without a hitch.

I’ve decided to dedicate my first review to Shiraz.
As a disclaimer, I am someone that’s hard to please. I do not give her 5 stars to be nice, but I truly believe she deserves it.
I sat down and told her I wanted them to be shaped, but not too thin. She made my eyebrows symmetrical (I thought this was impossible), and gave them a subtle arch suitable to my face. She was quick, very friendly, and gave me plenty of tips specific to my eyebrows.
I am now a fan of threading, and will come back.

She is the nicest lady you will ever meet on the planet; I wish I could give her 10 stars
her eyebrow threading is kind and gentle and fast — where as other places I’d cry and it’d hurt

Shiraz is great at shaping brows, so if you are very particular about your brows, give her a try. Also, the price is great, and threading does not hurt as badly as your friends tell you.

Truly deserves 5 stars. Quick, perfect, almost painless. The first eyebrow threader I went to, was very slow and meticulous (or so I thought) and I would cry and cry it hurt so badly. Then I realized when they know what they’re doing and are very skilled, it’s fast which minimizes the pain.
Shiraz is an artist. That’s all you need to know! Highly recommend her.

So happy to have quickly found a new threading place in Austin. (I still can’t believe they’re not on every corner here yet as they are in Houston or D.C.) She’s totally amazing — she knows that thin brows are not what I want, she perfectly shapes brows and doesn’t miss a beat. She’s warm and welcoming to clients in her home. I truly love my 20 minutes with Shiraz every four weeks. She is filled with happy loving energy which makes the small amount of torture she inflicts completely endurable. Shiraz is my gal for eyebrow shaping and removal of that tiny bit of dark fuzz on my upper lip. We all have it so let’s just say it out loud, girls. Dark Fuzz.
A beautiful Golden Retriever, «Whiskey», will greet you when you arrive. He is a big softy so give him a hug. Next, you will slip on top of a comfy massage table for her to perform her precise and perfect work in the «Spa Room». Finally, the job is complete and you are ready for a photo shoot!
Shiraz gave me a wonderful tip about using Castor Oil on a little patch of my eyebrow where hair had temporarily stopped growing. You pat it on the area every night and your hair grows back. I did this for about a month and have two somewhat matching brows! Many thanks to my Unilocal friend, Allison L for suggesting I try Shiraz.
