This was the BEST CPR class to take. We had a great firefighter named Aidan and he kept the energy level really high and the class was very engaged as he delivered the content. The two hours FLEW by and for only $ 25, you get CPR and First Aid training. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to get CPR certified.

This was the best CPR class I have ever taken. The instructor made the information memorable and comfortable. He was entertaining and gave great references that helped you understand and retain the information. Questions were welcomed and answered without making you feel dumb. I highly recommend this class to anyone who needs to take a CPR class. Thanks for the great experience.

This was an awesome class. They’re calendar is listed on the website so you can pick a class that is near to you. We actually had fun in our class. Our instructor was a firefighter named Blake who has a lot of real CPR experience and he was hilarious. Definitely recommend this place!

We had Jerry over tonight and it was a great class. He was great at explaining the programming and made us feel comfortable asking any/​all questions. We recently installed a pool and enjoyed the water safety aspect of the class. All of the teachers for the program are firefighters and this brings a relevancy component to the course. Jerry shared scenarios he has recently come across that helped relate the skills he was teaching to a real life situation. We invited a few friends from the neighborhood to offset the costs. I would highly recommend.

I’ve only written a handful of Unilocal reviews over the years but I wanted to write one for CPR Resources as soon as my husband and I walked out of the class two nights ago. We’re having a baby next month and our wonderful hospital recommends taking a CPR class, they offer one but it’s $ 40/​person and ONLY covers infant and child CPR, so I thought I’d check around to see what other classes Austin had to offer. I found CPR Resources through Google, checked them out on Unilocal and saw the good (if few) reviews and the fact that they cover all CPR ages, plus first aid for $ 25 and have classes all over all the time. There was one right by our house that night! It was easy to sign up online and I received a confirmation email quickly.
The class itself was SO GOOD. I grew up babysitting and going to summer camps etc that taught me first aid and CPR so it wasn’t entirely new information, but it had been such a long time and all of it can get a little jumbled. My husband (to whom it was almost entirely new information) and I both agree that after 2.5 hours pretty much everything he said is stored securely in our long term accessible memory. I feel so prepared! Our teacher Jerry was so clear, concise, and knowledgeable. He was also hilarious which made the class go by quickly and enjoyably. What a fantastic teacher. All of the instructors are firemen, who better to teach a class in emergency medical services? I never knew the difference that made. His years of constant real life experience as well as teaching made him so effective and efficient at teaching exactly what needs to be taught. One Unilocaler remarked that they didn’t practice on dummies, however that was not the case in our class, perhaps that was an old policy? Everyone got a turn in our largish class.
To sum up, I feel like we were in the matrix and got plugged into an EMS simulator to speed learn CPR and basic first aid. It honestly felt like all new information because it was presented so well and I feel totally confident in my ability to not be an idiot in an emergency situation now. My husband remarked that the class was worth a lot more than $ 25 and I agree. However we are glad they have such great prices because that’s one of the things that got us in the door in the first place.

CPR Resources, Inc. came to my workplace for an after-​hours class. Aiden, our instructor, made the time pass so quickly. He infused plenty of humor but also imparted the important lessons. I have taken a class through a previous employer with the American Heart Association… CPR Resources was by far the better class, and I feel like i walked away from the CPR Resources class with more confidence than I did with the AHA class. Aiden was direct and to the point, and me and my coworkers appreciated that. The class took about 2−¾ hours with 10 people.

Took a CPR class in downtown Austin a few weeks ago. It was significantly more entertaining than the Red Cross class I took a few years ago. Taught by a firefighter from the downtown station that related a lot of real-​life experience and managed to keep the class awake and interested during the whole evening.

I signed up for the CPR+First Aid class to renew my CPR certificate.
Dave, the instructor, did a great job teaching our class. He was funny, told relatable stories and taught the class not ‘by-​the-​book.’ He made it very clear how that class would be taught that evening [which I liked] and finished in under 2.5 hours [which went by quickly]!
Although, you didn’t practice on a ‘dummy’ you could stay after if you wanted or had additional questions. He was easy to understand and answered questions we had. He also made it clear that every situation is different and that you can’t always go ‘by-​the-​book.’ Sometimes you make mistakes like over-​counting on your compressions, but it’s OK… just keep going! I walked away feeling more comfortable with the CPR process!
I definitely suggest taking a CPR Resources class.
