Established in 1987.

At Custom Sounds we take the time to solder and heat shrink every connection in every car we do. Other shops make connections with electrical tape, t-​taps and crimp connectors. Soldering and heat shrinking gives you an airtight, watertight connection so that you get better sound and much better reliability. Electrical tape, t-​taps and crimps are used for speed but are prone to reliability problems. All of our technicians are required to become M.E.C.P. certified. Custom Sounds has been in business since 1987 and we back all of our work with a lifetime warranty.

Business Owner

Mike Cofield is the business owner and CEO, who works closely with Brian Dorsey, the president, and the rest of the Corporate office and Regional Sales staff throughout all Custom Sounds markets. He is closely involved with product purchasing, employee training, marketing, and general oversight of operations within the company, making sure we stick to our mission of excellent customer service with the highest quality products and installations, keeping Custom Sounds as the top retailer in aftermarket Car Audio, Window Tint, and Accessories.
