My elderly father in law moved in with us and I needed the bath converted into a shower to improve accessibility. Mess was controlled and cleaned daily. All the workers were polite, clean and on time. Whenever I had a concern, a response was provided. Now I have an glass enclosed shower, with a folding teak seat, secure hand holds, and a usable and accessible shower.
We also had Distinctive Remodeling help us correct a wood floor that was installed incorrectly by a previous contractor (boo hiss). Distinctive Remodeling saved the day and re-​sanded, re-​stained, and re-​polyurithaned the wood floors. All flaws were corrected and I was relieved. Now I have beautiful evenly stained and polyurethaned maple floors. The mess was kept to a minimum and the schedule was on time.
The doors of the cabinets in the bathroom were a drab gray. Ted and his painters took them off to his workshop and now they are shiny white and match my accessories. My rooms have been painted a beautiful Dove White (Sherman Williams) instead of industrial white/​grey.

Ted has done several projects in our home. His prices are fair and the workmanship is topnotch. We had some kitchen cabinets that were really nice and high quality, but the stain color was dated. Ted came in, re-​stained the cabinets and gave the kitchen a complete upgrade at about half the cost of what other companies charge. He arrives on time and has projects completed on time or ahead of schedule. I have referred ted to several friends and family members and everyone single one has been overwhelmed by the quality of work. It’s rare to find a gem like Ted.
