History

Established in 2012.

Dryer Vent Wizard has been in existence since 2006, with more than 60 franchisees in 27 states and one in Canada. Dryer Vent Wizard was listed at #6 by Forbes magazine in 2014 in their respective category, based on factors such as sustainability, continuity, transparency, and market demand.

Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Texas began serving Austin and surrounding areas in April of 2012. Based in Lakeway, we provide service for customers in the greater Austin area, from Georgetown to San Marcos, and from east Austin to Johnson City.

In 2013, owner Bob Bryfogle, was awarded the franchisee «Rookie of the Year» award and in June of 2014, Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Texas serviced its one thousandth dryer vent, and has currently serviced over 1,400 dryer vents. Meet the Business Owner

Bob B.

Business Owner

Bob is the oldest of seven children. He was a paperboy at the age of 12, worked as a janitor weeknights and for a general contractor remodeling homes during the summers while in high school. His passion became remodeling homes, so he went to work for the general contractor full time after graduatiing from high school.

He enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 19, and became an Air Traffic Control System Repairman. After 4 years of military service, a job with Texas Instruments brought him to Texas, and eventually he spent 27 years working as an engineer for Advanced Micro Devices in Austin.

After AMD, armed with a lifetime of experience, he bought a Dryer Vent Wizard franchise. He liked the idea of owning his own business and using his engineering and building background. He also liked the idea of creating solutions for customers, helping them go from a bad situation to a good one, increasing the efficiency of the dryer venting system, and reducing the risk of a dryer fire.
