History

Established in 1997.

It is our core people who have built this company from the inside out and make it possible for Granite Security to celebrate all of it’s anniversary’s. At Granite Security, we pride ourselves in our highly trained and experienced staff, our competent installation crews and our partnership with a high tech monitoring station! We are immediately available for our customers and builders for all their low voltage needs. At the heart of this team is Susan Sumners and Kellye Babin.

In 1994, Susan began her career in the security industry with Kristynik Security. From this beginning she established herself as an industry leader! When Paul Kristynik sold his company in 1996, it only seemed natural that Susan continue building her legacy.

In 2002, Kellye Babin joined Susan in progressing Granite Security to a new level of success! With Kellye’s support, Granite Security is now working with a multitude of local builders and we now have several thousand monitored accounts under our belt.
