Gary Cash DDS

I like Dr. Cash a lot. He is very empathetic and approachable. As an added bonus there is a dental lab and and endodontist in the same building which makes getting a root canal and crown very convenient.

I was in bad shape when I first met Lindsey, Luz, and Dr Cash. I had a very painful tooth that I had lost most of. Dr. Cash placed a temporary filling and meet with me to go over all my options and expenses. My insurance was terrible and only covered some of the worse dentists in Austin. So we went over a discount plan and how much each item would cost. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable.
I came in before my appointment because i was in so much pain. Dr Cash and his staff treated me with compassion and expertise. I’m nervous around dentists and he asked me how I was doing often.
So now I’m back with another issue and I was seen as soon as possible. They are awesome.

As promised here’s the update after seeing Dr Cash and staff.
First of all, I was seen right on time after parking my car practically at the door in the free lot of off-​street parking. Nice.
Lindsey — who turned out to be just as nice in person as she was on the phone — greeted me warmly and Dr Cash was up front to say hello too. You gotta love a Dr who introduces himself by his first name. And Lindsey? Cute is not enough to describe this beautiful lady.
Back to business: the effervescent Luz took me to the back (right on time) and proceeded to get all my pictures and X-​ray. Efficient and funny she didn’t waste any time at all and was comfortable in what she was doing.
Dr Cash reviewed the data as she produced them, did an exam of my mouth and I was off to Linda for a cleaning [apparently your name has to start with an «L» to get hired by Dr Cash…]
Linda was thorough yet gentle and has a voice so soothing I felt like falling asleep in the chair. She did tell me later she uses a slightly different tone with people she knows personally!
Following the complete and effective cleaning it was off to the Dr for a consult on the state of my teeth and gums and options for my dental plan long term. Importantly, Dr Cash will listen to what you want before creating a plan. He used both photos and X-​rays to review my status, and, big bonus points here — gave me a copy to take home with me.
I was in the office exactly how long staff had predicted and it was a thorough and largely enjoyable experience.
Will I be back? Already have that follow-​up scheduled!

i am not one of dr. cash’s regular patients, but was referred to him after I was involved in a freak accident tonight as my front tooth got broken in half and my exposed nerve was causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. my dentist was actually out of town but told me he would ask dr. cash to see me tomorrow morning which was a downer since i wanted to get fixed up immediately. when dr. cash called me a few minutes later, he said he could see me at 7:30pm, even though he was long gone from his office which had closed at 4pm. the procedure took about 30 – 40 min and he was so cheerful and cautious throughout the whole time, making sure I was relaxed and comfortable. in the end, he was able to re-​attach my tooth and made it look like nothing had happened. thank you doc!

Dr Cash, was probably the most amazing Dr. We have ever worked with. Him and his staff were not only friendly, but willing to work with us financially. The environment in the office was very clean and comfortable. All in all I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Dr. Cash is the best dentist I have been to in Austin. My gums have started to recede the last couple of years and my previous dentist kept recommending that my husband and I have gum therapy which would have cost us thousands of dollars out of pocket. Dr. Cash said my recession was moderate and that I should switch to a less abrasive tooth paste. I had no idea tooth paste was rated that way, in fact the tooth paste my previous dentist recommended was highly abrasive on the scale. The hygienist Carol gave me the best cleaning and didn’t leave me in pain. The whole staff was very professional and friendly. So glad I made the decision to switch.

This is definitely as good as it gets! I never really enjoy going to the dentist, but who does, right? My previous dentist seemed to be annoyed all the time which deterred me from wanting to go. Finally, Dr. Cash was recommended to me and I feel extremely blessed! There was a positive energy and everyone was genuine. Dr. Cash was honest and compassionate towards my situation and came up with a plan that fit my needs and my budget. Even a week after one of my appointments, Lindsey was extremely kind in taking time to help me by making calls to oral surgeons for a future procedure I needed. Sometimes it’s little things that make me sit back and appreciate the value of human kindness.
So, I’ll admit that I still get anxious knowing I have to go see the dentist, but now I sort of look forward to it like I get the chance to catch up with good friends, if that makes sense?

Dr. Cash is a talented and accomplished dentist.
He has shown himself to be an emphatic and genuine nice guy.
His staff is fantastic too. The are on the ball and pleasant. I do not have dental insurance and they worked with me to make monthly payments I could afford.
Their location is centrally located and I’ve never had any trouble with parking.

Great guy stepped up and helped out a guy who got attacked GREAT JOB

I am so impressed with the care and professionalism shown by Dr. Cash and his staff. It’s very apparent that everyone there truly cares about your comfort. As soon as I walked in I was offered water — cold or room temperature! I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room on the 4^th floor with beautiful floor to ceiling windows, TV and a wide variety of magazines. I was then greeted by Carol, the sweetest dental hygienist, who was apologetic for me having to wait a mere few minutes! She was so gentle, informative, comforting and thorough. She always checked in to make sure I felt comfortable as she did my cleaning. I was then introduced to Dr. Cash who completed my examination. Every other dentist I’ve met makes a very quick cameo when I visit and never left much of an impression on me. Dr. Cash treats you like a friend and he did a great job explaining some issues I had with my teeth and how I could better care for them. He also offers a great dental insurance plan that makes annual maintenance much more affordable if you don’t have insurance. As long as Dr. Cash is practicing in the city I live in, I will never use another dentist!
