One star, just because this place closes both side entrances at eight! BOTH! You leave one entrance/exit for your business, and it’s only wide enough for two people! I stood in the rain for five minutes waiting for an opening to get in, before I realized there’s better places to go!

Don’t get attached to any product or item at HEB. No matter how popular at item is they will stop stocking it eventually just to clear shelf space for higher priced items. Today all Kashi brand frozen dinners that cost around $ 3 were replaced by $ 4 Luvo and more expensive $ 5 – 6 frozen dinners. The same thing happened with Yoplait yogurt. Their was a wide selection of about a dozen flavors of $.54 Yoplait yogurt cups were replaced by $ 1 Greek Yogurt last year. 3 Varieties of Hawaiian Gold coffee – two of which cost under $ 20 a bag – were replaced by the most expensive $ 29 variety. Again and again my favorite items are pulled off the shelves without reason besides that they obviously want to replace popular lower priced items with higher priced items. Whoever stocks for all HEB stores is counting on consumers to buy the higher priced items shoved in place of popular favorites over and over. I’ve filled out dozens of HEB’s little green request cards but they never restock my favorite items. The produce at HEB is good which it why I’m giving them 2 stars. But you can’t count on anything else being in stock. Don’t enjoy any favorite items at HEB too much because eventually they will all be taken off the shelves to upsell you something more expensive. As far as customer service goes I’ve had multiple times where grocery baggers will fill one grocery bag and then just walk away leaving me and the checker to finish the job. Also when half the grocery carts have trash in them that the people who collect the carts don’t bother to clean out. Ever time they put an item on sale that item sells out in a day leaving items out of stock until next week’s shipments. Please don’t put an item on sale when you can’t keep enough items in stock.

This store is huge. It has a great selection of products. However it’s so crowded, it’s like yore in the mall on Black Friday. With so much traffic, the store is always filthy. I’m not confident in the sanitary conditions. I go to another store for that very reason.

A friend of mine told me about the French macarons at HEB so I decided to try some. My boyfriend and I went to this HEB location last night around 4PM. I checked out the bakery section and waited at the counter to get service. There was a young brunette female working with red lipstick on and a gray sweater with skulls on it. She looked busy at first so we waited patiently. Well the time went on as we stood there clearly needing assistance and she continued what she was doing, pretending to not see us. Growing frustrated and impatient after about 10 minutes of her being just feet away from us but pretending we weren’t there, my boyfriend politely asked, «Can we please get some assistance?». This bitch stares at him with a pissed off look, slams on the machine she’s using, ROLLSHEREYES, then says«What?» in the rudest tone. It took everything in me not to jump the counter and throat punch her. He says something along the lines of «we’ve been waiting for assistance,» so she huffs and puffs before walking over to the counter and says«What do you need.» I shit you not, I’m not even paraphrasing. It was like we were her parents nagging at her to do her chores. She then proceeds to make me walk over to her to grab them after putting the label on. I swear this bitch needs an attitude check or to be fired. This interaction pissed both of us off and put us in a shit mood the rest of the time we were there. It was so unbelievably rude and uncalled for. WTF had we done to deserve to be treated like that? Anyways I had to rant about this, hence the lengthy post. I’ll also be calling her supervisor ;)

This HEB is nice. Except for them writing Merry Christmas Mitchell on a Cake that was supposed to say Happy Birthday Michelle on Nov 16. Maybe it was a joke. And my uncle was in a rush and so he didn’t realize what it said until he got home. He was really upset… Like how does someone knowing that it’s not even thanksgiving yet write that on a cake? At least make sure with the costumer!!! Like come on!

This is a decent H-E-B. Seems like they are out of breads a lot and stock is always somewhat picked over. Store is clean most of the time and checkout takes forever(you’d think H-E-B could figure this out, as every location is like this) Also turn on Apple Pay, your machines support it. Jammed packed also on any day, except mornings before say 9AM.

HEB is a Texas tradition. You can get all the ethic foods you want plus everything else, parking is sometimes a hassle, but the selection of produce and groceries is unmatched. If this isn’t your go to grocery store it should be. Some organic options available as well, not like Whole Foods though.

Gonna have to call Unilocal out on this one… as being Bogus for this being my «First review»…I have worked here for 8 years and know I have done at least 2 reviews for this location, including quit a few photos I have uploaded… Maybe it was removed for being bogus, on the fact I do work there… I do take pride in the fact we have one of the freshest produce departments… Thats because I consider this being my own little produce store… I vouch for the people I work with in produce as being friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help.

Now that this location has been open a few years, it’s pretty run of the mill. It may be that I just expect more from HEB now. This place is always slammed with people and it never seems like they have enough registers open.

This is the best HEB I have ever been in. CLEAN, BIG and everything is easy to find. Love the fresh made tortilas daily, the roasted chicken is awesome, the sushi is pretty ok! By the way you gotta LOVE the in store coupons!

This review is for the fueling center. If there was a different check I did not see it. Unilocal will allow this to be added for anyone locally that wants to do. I have never utilized a H-E-B before, this fueling center was close to my hotel and convenient off the highway. Signage from the freeway guides you in easily and the lighting of the business, possibly LED is great! Not too busy when I entered, but absolutely brisk. If this fueling area is not newer I would be shocked, it’s just so clean and everything seems new. No issues with debris and the trash cans remained within their boundaries. The pump took my credit card without a hitch and asked for the typical home zip since I was out of town. This is something I like, it’s easy and provides an additional layer of security. Not all pumps are created equal, this one pumped fast. Also the pump area was clean. In the center is a real live person if you need to speak with someone, which I did not. While I was pumping I noticed the H-E-B grocery a short distance away and got the connection that this is a grocery/department store with a fueling center. Great location, clean and the pumps worked without flaw. What else could you want. The only thing that could have elevated them was if I had a customer interaction which was outstanding, but again I did not need to talk with the cashier.

This HEB is awful. The produce is always bruised and rots within a few days of bringing it home. Not to mention there are always fruit flies all around the fruit and I bring them home with me. I can’t leave any of it out or else I will have them in my house, it’s disgusting. I shouldn’t have to hunt for several minutes for the least bruised apple to bring home and have to pay for substandard produce. This is a large company and should have better quality control. There is never any variety in the food they sell and I don’t see newly released products I want to buy for months after they are released. There are never enough open registers and employees almost run over customers with their pallets while restocking. I have been forced to go here because it is closer to my home but I will be shopping around for a cleaner grocery store.

I love that this HEB is very clean, I don’t usually wait forever to pay for my things, and I usually get excellent customer service on my way out! Great organic, tea, ice cream, meat selection!

This is hands down the best HEB that I have ever been to in Austin. They have a great variety, good selection of more gourmet type food, clean, well stocked shelves, friendly staff and quick cashiers. The sushi rocks and their seafood counter always has fresh items! The pre-skewered bacon wrapped scallops are out of this world and are 2 skewers for $ 6.00. I also love their HEB loco coupons because you can get some amazing deals! I definitely recommend their prepackaged olive and feta salad to top their rotisserie chicken! I make the 30 minute drive just to shop at this location!

Well stocked with a variety of options. They carry a few Central Market items. The deli, seafood and meat counter are my favorites. This is my preferred grocery stores for produce. They also have the fresh peanut butter, almond and honey roasted peanut butter machines. They are very busy! The parking lot is large with tons of birds, clean cars beware.

Figured it would be time for me to update my reive for this HEB. It is my usual HEB and again it has everything I need or want. Sometimes I end up with more than I need and that has nothing to do with them just my bad spending habits I suppose. The produce section is amazing and right now they are bringing I tropical fruit so I am buying guavas, star fruit yes I said star fruit in Texas! Mangos are starting to show up and today I found strawberry papaya!!! I didn’t even know that existed?!? Blowing my mind right now. Prices are nice and fair selection is great! They got a great healthy living selection so if you are going on the health kick check it out plus the wide variety of veggies you can’t go wrong!!! Again the only problem is the crowds man is this place super busy!!! Especially during the hours when people are leaving work or on Sunday!!! It’s not their fault but that definitely detracts me from going there during that time. So I stick to the early mornings or the late evenings so I can get all my fruits, veggies and meats with avoiding the crowds Oh and the parking is terrible during the peak times even with hundreds of hundreds of parking it fills up quickly. Overall great heb has everything you need and some, gots a ready clinic, chase bank, pharmacy inside also. If you live in the area this needs to be your HEB!

This is MYHEB! I come here almost daily. I am not exaggerating. It’s a short drive from my house, so it’s my go to for anything I need. I come here so often that people recognize me… I’m not sure how I feel about that… It’s one of the larger and better stocked HEBs I’ve shopped at. Produce, meats, and seafood are always clean and well stocked. The healthy living and bulk sections are great. The beer selection is not as impressive as it could be, but they have a great wine pick. If you live in Texas, you’ve no doubt shopped at HEB, so I’ll cut this short… but I’ll reiterate. This is MYHEB!!!

I like this HEB as the people are always friendly and it’s not too crowded. I dislike the layout of the store though. My biggest gripe: Baggers. The Baggers can’t seem to understand simple concepts like«don’t mix raw meat with fresh veggies». That’s how people get sick. This should be bagging 101. Another foreign concept to them is «don’t mix cans with soft items like tomatoes»
