History
Established in 2006.
Originally opened in 1982 under different ownership, Holland Photo Imaging has been servicing the Austin community and beyond for years now. In 2006, Holland photo combined with Austin Prints Photo Lab to become Austin’s premier full service photo laboratory. The merger allowed Holland Photo Editing to add a variety of services to their roster, and today there is very little the the shop cannot do. Throughout all this time, Holland Photo Editing has been a welcoming place where both amateurs and professionals can have their photo processing needs fulfilled.
Meet the Business Owner
Brian M.
Business Owner
Brian received his BA in Media Communications with an Emphasis in Photography from Webster University in St. Louis in 1993, he also attended University of Houston for his first two years of college. After graduating, he immediately began a career in the photo lab industry working for a number of labs in St. Louis and Austin after moving to the area in 1995. He ended up working for the lab that was then Austin Prints for Publication in 1996, where he worked all of the available positions until 2005. That year the owner was intending to close the lab due to the shift in the industry to digital technologies. Brian and his wife Morgan decided to purchase the lab that year to continue to offer B&W services in the Austin area renaming the lab Austin Prints Photo Lab. Surprisingly, a year later, the owner of Holland Photo approached them with an offer to sell as well, and with the help of partner Jerry Icenogle, the NEW Holland Photo Imaging was born.
