Do not shop here!
My friend bought a shirt here and paid $ 235 for a shirt. When he got home the price tag said $ 185. When he went back in Chuck would not refund the difference.
I have been in the store more than once and service has been flat out poor.
Go to Brooks Brothers across the street or JosA Banks on 4^th and Congress.

Fabulous service! After shopping at several other locations for my fiancé’s bowtie for our wedding, Keepers was a godsend. My fiancé, who is notoriously hard to please, found the perfect bowtie quickly. Kenneth, the salesman, was very helpful and offered us whiskey neat (also great) while we waited for him to steam the bowtie.
I gave only four stars because their selection of bowties was very small. While we did find the perfect one, I imagine that won’t happen on every occasion.

Wow! Talk about stellar service! Mercedes and Chuck (managing partner) agreed to open up on Sunday, specifically for us. They are usually closed on Sundays but were gracious enough to make an exception. This worked out because we did end up buying a wonderful 3-​piece suit here. Walking in, Chuck and Mercedes had mimosas and smiles to greet us, and what a better way to start your Sunday shopping experience. My friend was the one in need of a suit for an event, and it was on rather short notice-​about one week. We didn’t have time to really get anything alters or a made-​for suit. The selection isn’t vast, but highly fashionable and you could tell it took time for the buyer to choose what goes on the sales floor.
I am very frank with my opinions and sometimes just say things with a lack of grace, especially if I’m dealing with a fashionably sideways friend who has elicited my help because I am fashionable, or at least not fashionable sideways or backwards. Chuck is always honest with his opinions, and never, NEVER pushy. Dress advice coming from a woman will always have a different effect on a man than a man’s advice on another man’s wardrobe. It just will. But I would say, from my interactions with Chuck, his opinions, grace, politeness, and candor is not not to be trusted. That is, he is to be trusted (for all your grammar crazy kids out there).
Now one who doesn’t know much about suits would think, ‘how many ways can you wear a suit?’ Well, let me tell you, this place will have it all and it’s all up to style. I don’t know a ton about suits to spit out all the terms I learned (and forgot) during this experience, but an experience it was and it was great.
We didn’t get the suit the same day because we wanted to look at a few other places: Brookes Brothers, Jos A. Bank, Nordstroms. But we came back to Keeper’s for the suit… now come a suit event, my friend can look like a total stud of a keeper!

Everyone is very nice and helpful. But when slacks are $ 425, they OUGHT to give a bottle of wine to a repeat customer!

From my first interview suit while I was in school and Keepers was on 38^th and Lamar, I was in love with this place. This is what shopping should be. When you walk in, they know you and they know how to make you feel good and make shopping fun.
If service is important to you, Keepers is where you should shop. Here are some of my past experiences:
Before the internet had the answer to everything, the staff at Keepers taught me how to tie a bow tie.
I moved out of the city and didn’t visit Keepers for two years or so, when I finally walked in, the owner looked up and said «Robert, so good to see you again.» Do they remember you where you shop?
My cleaners busted some of my buttons (guess what, buttons on very fancy shirts are hard to locate), Keepers had to call the designer in Italy and get some shipped, they did it immediately and for free.
I stopped by right before the holidays and browsed. I didn’t buy anything. On the way out, the owner stopped me and took me back to the back to give me a bottle of wine as a holiday gift.
If looking great is important to you, you would be a fool to go anywhere else. Chuck Haidet knows style and makes sure Keepers has the hottest clothes in Austin. Wear the clothes you buy here and people will notice.

IF you can afford it, this little known menswear boutique in the Bank of America building by Congress and 5^th has some of the best collections of high biz fashion for men.
Service is impeccable and suave, and those Zegna ties that may be lacking at Last Call Neiman Marcus will do you right here… also Ike Behar shirts, and other $ 100+ shirts and expensive suits make it the place to splurge after you’ve closed that deal.
