Established in 2011.
Early on Kristin developed a wealth of big industry experience serving as corporate commercial counsel for an international energy company, and negotiating large capital projects for a Fortune 100 technology company.
Since 2011, she has offered direct legal counsel to entrepreneurs, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations in private law practice. Kristin regularly advises clients on business formation, partnerships, nonprofit organization and management, policy development, contracting, real estate, and board of director roles and duties.
Kristin follows emerging trends in social enterprise (harnessing capitalism for social good), benefit corporations, and innovative models of business and law supporting sustainable local economies, including business and worker cooperatives.
Kristin brings a unique perspective gleaned from following her own entrepreneurial spirit. For two years, Kristin’s law practice was part of a Houston business cooperative.

Business Owner
Kristin has served as legal counsel to small and large businesses and nonprofit organizations since 2004. She serves entrepreneurs and nonprofit clients in a range of Austin’s growing industries including technology, healthcare, information technology, design, hospitality, city planning, and sustainability.
Kristin earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, and graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law. She is community minded and devotes 30% of her time to community interests by commitments of time, money and educating the public.
Kristin’s work has been published in the Texas Bar Journal and American Bar Journal. Kristin is guest lecturer at the University of Houston Law Center.
