Lyndsay Stradtner is an award winning, on-​location, natural light photographer specializing in maternity, birth, newborn, baby, toddler, child, teen, engagement, couple and family photography. She is located in Austin Texas and services Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Round Rock and the surrounding areas.

History

Established in 2008.

Life in Motion Photography opened in Austin, Texas in July of 2008. Just a few months later in October, the Austin Chronicle named Lyndsay as the Best Kids Photographer in Austin, Texas for 2008.

In addition to a thriving portrait and birth photography business, Lyndsay mentors birth photographers from around the world through her mentoring program, The Birth Experience. Lyndsay’s award winning work has been featured in many publications through the years and she’s done interviews with Yahoo News, the New York Times, Parenting Magazine, Baby Talk Magazine and various media news outlets around the world featuring birth photography. Additionally, Lyndsay is the founder of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers, an organization that represents over 1,000 birth photographers in 24 countries.

My name is Lyndsay Stradtner and I’m a professional photographer in Austin, Texas. My family is the greatest joy I have ever known, my husband, Jason, and our four children, Ty, Taryn & Teagan Jude and Jonah. With 4 children our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Feel free to check out my website and blog, it is a big mix of my personal and professional work. I believe that my personal work and the images I capture for other families co-​exist. One relies on the other and vice versa as I grow as an artist. I have the best job in the world. I get to hang out with great people, big and small, play, have fun and do what I love.
