This is some of the best food I have had in Austin! Right next to Spider House too so they will deliver their food their if you want. They have Ice Cream, Waffles, Pizza, and a whole lot more.

Had a shitty day and wanted to eat my feelings away. I googled«vegan food» even though I thought I knew about all the vegan goodies in Austin, but apparently I didn’t. I found Maggie’s Waffles on HappyCow and inquired immediately. Looked up their website, browsed the amazing, 100% vegan menu, and called in an order. I ordered two waffles with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, strawberries, coconut whipped cream, and ice cream on top of both. They were ready within about 5 minutes which was really nice considering trailers can sometimes take a little longer(not hating on trailers at all!). Drove home and my boyfriend and I devoured them within minutes. The waffles were amazing. Presentation was on point and the sauces were super good– even the strawberries were nice and sweet even though they’re not in season. The waffles were also really good– sweet, crunchy on the outside and nice and soft in the middle. I work in a vegetarian restaurant and am always getting asked about other veg places to visit, so I will definitely spread the word about this place. Thank you vegan gods for helping me find this place tonight.

Two words, pizza waffle. I’m severely lactose intolerant, I am a bloated, gassy, and terrible person to be around if I eat dairy. Vegan cheeses are a great way for me to enjoy the high life of humanity without the worry of making my wife keep me in quarantine. Taryn made me a supreme pizza waffle here, I don’t think it made it three minutes out of the iron before it was fully in my belly. One of the best pieces of truck food I’ve ever consumed. I hunt, I smoke my own bacon, and I love my dead animal. This being said, I don’t venture into veggie meat much. The vegan sausage mixed with the veggies and«cheese» worked so well, I didn’t think I was eating new-age ground soybeans. 10⁄10 would nom again. All in all a great addition to the Austin food truck scene, the prices are more than fair and I’ll be back soon to try the sweet waffles. P. S. The vegan latte was on point and made me remember what a real shot of espresso is supposed to taste like. Try the vegan caramel!
