I recently bought a 3-​Hour Deep Clean from Groupon and I could not be more pleased with the ENTIRE transaction from start to finish. I’ve NEVER had a cleaning appointment get scheduled and executed so smoothly and so thoroughly — and I have had many. Not to mention it was incredibly affordable! I hate cleaning and quite frankly, don’t really have time for the deep cleaning stuff. Jarell was who I scheduled my appointment with and he was so kind and helpful. He even called when they had an opening earlier in the week open up, as we had wanted.
Now lets talk about the wonderfulness that is Laquinta. The floors in this house were gross. Granted we have new hard wood floors, but aside from swiffering, we haven’t had the time to even swiffer wet jet them. The carpets. I have a 100lb black lab that sheds like a Sasquatch. It was everywhere. It gets so bad sometimes, it clogs our Dyson Animal — and we try to vacuum at least once a week. Anyhoo, that was the case here — vacuum broken, both of us working non-​stop and just haven’t had the time to even clean our bathrooms. It was time to get someone in to help us.
When Laquinta first arrived, she was ready to get to what was important to us and really had us prioritize our list. Have you ever deep cleaned your house top to bottom? That takes 6 hours and you’re sore for a week. We were totally realistic in what she would be able to get done in 3 hours and really told her what we needed help on.
I just got home and WOW. She got to SO MUCH more than I ever would have in three hours — And it is QUALITY work. She got every nook and cranny — behind exercise equipment, dark corners — she did an incredible job.

They did a good job for the price! It smelled clean as I walked in, they honored the price discussed on the phone, and arrived/​left when they were supposed to. It was only a general move out cleaning so there were a few things missed (that aren’t usually included in general cleanings anyway) but 3 of those 4 stars are just for how well they cleaned the shower– WOW! We have hard water so it was pretty bad and that thing looked new! I’d use them again for a basic general cleaning.

When I purchased the Groupon for the move-​out cleaning, I was a little worried that the cleaning crew might not be all that careful since it was clearly a one-​time sort of thing (we moved to another city). But it actually all turned out groovy. They responded promptly to my questions, they arrived on time, they were charming, and they did a fine job of cleaning the house. I definitely recommend you give them a try.

An absolute terrible experience. My wife and I purchased a 3hr «move-​out» Groupon voucher for $ 126. The price seemed fair for a 1bed 1bath 750 sq/​ft apartment, thinking that it would be a somewhat labor intensive move-​out cleaning. The only available appointment slot was for the 24^th of July which was the last day of our lease. My wife gets a notification that our apartment has been cleaned and is ready for inspection. I guess Q and A thought that the inspection was going to be administered by the property manager first, not myself. When I entered the apartment it smelled like an empty, musty apartment that just had the walls painted (I had done some touch up painting on the walls the day before). The apartment has concrete floors, when you mop the floors it leaves a streak that glares in the sun for a few hours. I walked into the apartment not 30 minutes after they had finished their cleaning. The floors had not even been swept, if even mopped. Later, the gentleman who answers the phone states he mopped the floors himself. I took a picture of a paper towel that I used to wipe the floors with after their cleaning; it was black. The windows had not been touched, and the sliding glass door still had my dogs smudges left behind on the door. This was my fault though, in small, fine print on the voucher it says they do not include cleaning windows in their move-​out services. Now THAT’S one interesting cleaning service policy! As a cleaning service who provides quality to customers, you expect a customer to pay extra for a minimal service that is expected in any cleaning purchase like window cleaning? C’mon, that’s unbelievably ridiculous.
Back to the actual cleaning of the apartment, they wiped down the inside of the fridge. That is it. The bathroom shower had not been touched. There was still shower residue on the tile grout and the bathroom sink had left over residue from where I had wiped it down the night before.
The kitchen sink, oven, and the top of the fridge were not cleaned. There was remaining gunk in the bottom of the oven, the sink had little pieces of food stuck to the sides of the bowl, and the top of the fridge was covered in dust and a plastic baggy was left on top.
This is when I called the cleaning service and explained to them that their cleaning service was horrendous and absolutely demanded a refund. I believe I referred to their cleaning service verbatim as bull****. This is when I was hung up on. I get it, oh, a customer cursed so I rightfully can tell him that I don’t have to hear or be cursed at. Get over it, you watch R rated movies don’t you? Do you walk out of the movie when you hear them curse, no, so when you reply back to this post telling the Unilocal audience I was an a**, please come up with a better excuse than that I was a mean person. Did you know that I was going to yell at you when you apparently cleaned my apartment beforehand, again no.
After I stated their work was BS and demanded my refund, they passed their fault onto Groupon, and they told me that I would have to call them for my refund. Since I already knew that a refund was unlikely, I continued to release my thoughts on how poor of an excuse their cleaning service was of a so-​called business, but of course, in less kinder words. Let’s not forget what QA openly admitted over the phone about their voucher and the status of the apartment before they began their «move-​out» cleaning. The gentleman I spoke to during my initial call stated that the apartment was already clean before they had even arrived to do their cleaning. Unacceptable. I left the apartment decently cleansed so the expected, deep move-​out clean would be an easy, smooth process for the «professional» cleaners. In QAs point of view this was a situation to take advantage and scam some easy money.
After I was hung up on the first call, I called back numerous times and was ignored. Finally, the manager answered and began to explain that I had purchased a discounted Groupon voucher and I should have expected a «discounted» cleaning service. Now that’s sales 101, right there! After further arguing between the two of us, she ended the conversation with: «go f*** yourself, you’re an a**h***.»
After the conversation I walked our property manager through to show her the cleaning service that was performed in our apartment. She stated that the service was substandard and over priced for a small 1bed 1 bath apartment. I agreed and ultimately Groupon did as well. Groupon issued my wife and I a full refund and are in the process of removing QA cleaning from their voucher programs. I am in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau for the actions of this company. If you decide to execute business with this company you are only asking for problems. I hope this review persuades you’re decision in the right direction.

Several people have cleaned my house over the past decade, and LaQuinta and Q & A are head and shoulders above the rest. LaQuinta is thorough, meticulous, and quick. We have cleanings scheduled every other week, and she always texts the night before to confirm and shows up on time. Even if I ask her to do a few extra things I normally don’t need, she does them thoroughly and still has time to make the rest of my filth pit of a house spotless and smelling fresh. I have a ³⁄₂ with two living areas, an office, a dog, a cat, and two kids, and it takes LaQuinta only part of the morning to whip our house back into shape. I would definitely recommend her!

My husband and I were really excited to use a company with high reviews to clean our new house. However, I was told one price the day we schedule the appointment and then another price the day of the appointment. I decided to cancel our appointment and go with someone else. Beware!!! Get everything in writing. Very Shady.

I really think this couple does a fine job of cleaning. They were flexible with their times, completed every task I asked of them and even suggested things that would make our short term rental look nicer.
If there was something they needed to attend to, I just asked them to do it and they did.
Unlike the other customer who was unhappy with their service, I didn’t give them a time deadline. I have a ⁴⁄₂ with a study and a second living area. No way would I expect someone to clean it completely in 90 Minutes.

Q&A Cleaning is great. Laquinta is responsive, professional, and hardworking. She takes her time to clean my condo in a thorough manner. I highly recommend this service.

My husband and I recently moved into a home and had been doing some remodeling, so we definitely needed a good cleaning after the dust had settled. LaQuinta’s service was recommended on our neighborhood listserv and I contacted her for pricing and service details. I was very pleased with the reasonable price and her very fast response time. She was able to fit us in very quickly and did a wonderful cleaning our home — getting rid of the dust from the work we had done and really making sure the floors were spotless. We will definitely use the Q&A Cleaning Services again in the future. Very nice people to work with.

I saw an Amazon Local Deal for a house cleaning with this company and saw positive reviews on Unilocal,so I thought I’d give it a shot. My family was hosting Thanksgiving dinner, and I thought that having professionals come in and clean (instead of myself) would be nice. Laquinta (I assume, the owner/​manager) answered all of my questions very promptly via e-​mail and was very helpful. However, when it came to cleaning the house, we couldn’t have had a more disappointing experience. I ended up having to clean our main dining area because it was completely ignored in addition to rooms that I had to re-​clean due to a poor job. Hi Laquinta,
I wanted to let you know how the cleaning went yesterday. Honestly, we were disappointed with the results. I’ve attached some images to help explain my points.
Photo 1 shows a business card-​sized dustball that was left behind in our kitchen area. Not only was that left behind, but it was clear to me that large portions of the kitchen floor were ignored judging by streaks left behind from either a poor mopping job or simply a floor left un-​mopped. Photo 2 shows an example of some of the dust that was left behind in our house. I went around to check a lot of the surfaces, and book cases and media centers went left undusted. As you can see by me standing next to the book case, this piece of furniture was waist-​height, and I’m of average height. The offer explained that surfaces above eye level would not be dusted, so I assumed this would get done. Photo 3 shows a rug that was neither swept nor vacuumed. This was in our living room. Not pictured is our sofa, which we specifically requested per the list left in the house, to be cleaned. It also was not cleaned as judged by dog hair left on the sofa as well as a blanket that was found on the sofa just as we left it in the morning. Photo 4 shows two large dust/​hair clumps near the corners of the media stand in our living room. Again, this just shows that the room went largely uncleaned.
Finally, I’d like to address something else that was not pictured: our entire dining/​entryway area. While we did not specifically say, «Please clean this area,» I did make it clear to you that we were having the house cleaned for Thanksgiving as we would be having guests over to our house. When we returned home, we had a note saying that the cleaners were unable to clean that entire room because there was not enough time. There were two people cleaning our house for 90 minutes. My wife and I can do the same job in about the same amount of time, and I always have time to, at least, sweep and vacuum the surface of every floor in the house. This includes our dining/​entryway area. This is what pushed me to write you about our experience. This is unacceptable. I spent the past 90 minutes cleaning up what your cleaners left behind in our house. This is not how I planned to spend my day off, and it is specifically what I was trying to avoid by using your services. I am requesting a full refund for your services. If you and I cannot come to that agreement, I will be contacting Amazon per their terms and conditions to request the same refund. Please let me know how you plan to remedy this situation. Also, please understand that follow-​up services are not an acceptable agreement.

Hi Matt,
We apologize for the inconvenience. There were two cleaners that came out and one started upstairs and cleaned the master bathroom also the guest bathroom and vacuumed the entire upstairs but didn’t get to dust upstairs in the master bedroom. The cleaner downstairs completed the kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and living area. This was all that could be completed in the 90 minutes and we left the checklist and told you what we did, its not like we were dishonest and said we cleaned everything you asked. I cannot give you a refund but you can contact Amazon Local and see if they will give you a refund. Sorry things didn’t work out for you.
In conclusion, no, I would not recommend this cleaning service. I would think that offering an Amazon Local deal or a Groupon would be a great way to expand business and garner new customers, but this does not work if you treat those customers poorly.

I have had Q & A visit my (small) 4 bedroom home twice. they take their time and get every nook and cranny. They are very polite and helpful in whatever I have asked them to do.
Best of all, they use Meyer’s cleaning products so your house does not smell like toxic chemicals, but rather like subtle but beautiful flowers and other natural scents.
Recommended for house cleaning!

The team did a thorough and professional job on my 3 bedroom/​2 bath house. They were very prompt in returning calls and confirming appointments. High marks on customer service. I recommend this team.

Q & A Cleaning Service far surpassed my expectations. Laquinta and her team left our house impeccable and provided friendly customer service. I have used them several times now to help me get the house ready for company and they are flexible on dates and always on time. I found Q & A through Groupon and couldn’t ask for a better team than Laquinta and I believe, her husband. The first time we used their service was to clean my girlfriend’s last house (a huge 3 bedroom, 2 bath). It was in very bad shape (messy/​dirty roommate situation) but Laquinta showed up and turned that house upside down. We now live in a small 2 bed/​1 bath apartment that we rent out to guests on
. During SXSW this year, we decided to rent out our place and road trip to NYC for 10 days. Laquinta and her husband came over to clean before we left town and even after 10 days of 19 year olds partying it up at our place, it was STILL clean. I believe Q & A has a magic touch and I will be using their services from here on out!
