History

Established in 2011.

Robin Colton Studio is an Interior Design firm in Austin, TX. Our project experience spans from high-​rise luxury remodels to whole house construction, collaborating with the client and architect early in the planning process, to single family home furnishings. In addition to luxury residential projects, Robin has worked on hotel, office and restaurant design. The studio is known for an intelligent integration of concierge interior design services, architectural detailing, and sustainability.

Business Owner

Robin’s childhood was spent in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Her passion for fashion design took her to Los Angeles where she studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Robin worked for 10 years designing in the fashion industry, including as a Lead Designer for Nordstrom’s Private Label division in Seattle, before switching her focus to interiors. She continued her Interior Design studies at Bellevue College while working with the team at Six Walls in Mercer Island, Washington. In 2006, she relocated her family to Austin where she was a Senior Designer at a local firm for nearly 5 years before opening her eponymous studio in 2011. Robin brings her fashion design sensibility into the world of interiors whether in her client’s primary residences, vacation or second homes, or special event design.
