Scheer & Co. is a high-​end residential and boutique commercial interior design firm based in Austin, TX. With more than a decade of design industry experience, Killy Scheer founded Scheer & Co. in 2013 with the belief that a home should feel polished and familiar — perhaps with a dash of playfulness. Killy collaborates with clients to curate cohesive spaces that reflect their spirit and aesthetic.

Business Owner

Killy earned a bachelors degree in English from the University of Michigan prior to obtaining a masters in interior design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She refined her skills under the tutelage of such tastemakers as Jonathan Adler and Fawn Galli as well as at architecture firms including The Phillips Group and Studio CMP. A 2011 relocation to Austin led her to a Senior Designer position with Cravotta Interiors prior to launching Scheer & Co.

In addition to her interiors practice, Killy has been a contributing writer with several design publications, including Houzz​.com and is currently lecturer in the interior design department at Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas). An architectural, design and decorative arts history enthusiast, Killy participates on several committees with Preservation Austin and sits on Inherit Austin’s board of directors.
