History

Established in 2007.

Steve Rogers Photography began with corporate event photography in 2007, shooting team building, company celebrations and award ceremonies. In 2011, the company expanded into Headshots, Live Event photography such as local comedy and improv performances, live music and film festival red carpet events.

In 2012, glamour and art photography was added to the catalog. With over 50 models, both professional and amateur, Steve Rogers Photography has been supplying beautiful photography to women, men and their admirers.

Another key part of the business is photo booth photography at parties, charity events and corporate functions.

Business Owner

I have been photographing people and places for over 25 years. My father built a dark room in our house when I was in high school so he could develop photos of my brother’s sports and my band performances. It was a natural progression for me to start photographing too. I became the High School annual and newspaper photographer.

Fast forward to 2010, I discovered I had a talent for catching that inner person, that candid moment, the essence of their soul. Many of my clients have professed that it was one of the most enjoyable times they have had when being photographed. Even professional models have made similar statements.

I really enjoy meeting and working with new people. We always seem to make something special happen. There are magic moments when one of us has an inspiration and something beautiful happens. I love working with women of all ages and shapes. I can’t wait to work with you.

Here I am, raving about another Austin treasure! This one is Steve Rogers. I hate having my picture taken anymore. I’m in my 40’s, I’m not nearly as young and cute and thin as I once was, and let’s face it… The old gal ain’t what she used to be.
*Full disclosure — I happen to know Steve personally, and he is a dear friend.
However, how we met and became friends was through his profession. Steve has taken amazing photos of countless friends, at shows, at parties, and for head shots. It had been ages since I had decent pictures taken of me, and so I sought Steve out. I’m not sure how he did it, but he made me look amazing. Like, gorgeous. Okay, I am pretty sure it had something to do with how easy it is to be around him. He just makes people feel beautiful about themselves and it shows. Needless to say, it wasn’t the last time he shot me, and I’m going to be fighting to get back on his schedule again soon. You should too, especially if you don’t think you are beautiful enough to get your picture taken. Everyone should see themselves through Steve’s eyes at least once.

Steve is an AMAZING photographer. He really catches people’s personality and makes them look like their best selves. I’ve been photographed by Steve in improv shows, photobooths, and in a one-​on-​one session, and I was more than happy with the results every time.
When he is taking photos at an improv show or a live event, he really captures the story and the characters. You can go back months later, and you can relive what you’ve seen. When he’s taking photos at photobooths, he catches the spirit of the moment and the fun of the event. You always feel happy looking back at the photobooth photos, especially when ridiculous costumes are involved.
And he is fantastic in a one-​on-​one setting. He makes you feel comfortable and safe. And the photos come out beautifully. I don’t really like being photographed, and I often don’t like the way I look in pictures. But I love the way I look when Steve photographs me. He makes me feel beautiful, and the pictures always tell the story of who I am.
