I truly believe that your style is a way to show the world who you are as a person. What you wear is a form of expression and a way to let your personality shine through. I believe that getting dressed is an art that is easily mastered. Every person deserves to look and feel good. Let me help you feel good about getting dressed every day. Business Owner

Sydney Nagy was born and raised a Texan. While most of her career has been focused in the education world, fashion has always been on her mind.

Her obsession with fashion started in high school. Since she was a teenager with a small budget, most items were purchased from thrift stores and a magical place called Ropa Usada («used clothes»), where she could buy items for 30 cents a pound.

Ever since, Sydney’s love for a good bargain hasn’t changed. For years she has loved putting together outfits and personal shopping for friends and family and enjoyed fashion in general.

In 2009, Sydney decided to do something she truly loves and founded Closet Cravings wardrobe consulting. Contact her today!

Sydney has helped me several times with my closet; weeding out the clutter as well as creating new outfits from items I never thought of pairing. i also enjoyed a shopping adventure where she helped in the selection of items I was lacking that would also go with a lot I already owned. Sydney is fun, easy going, and truly talented!

Best investment I’ve made in myself in years! In two hours I purged 3 garbage bags of clothes and was left with a closet that I loved! She gave me new tips and advice on how to dress for my figure! Belts Belts Belts! I was extremely impressed with her creativity and ability to understand my personality and style. I have also saved hundreds of dollars just in the two months since my consultation. I no longer buy just to buy. She recommended a few staple pieces to complete my closet and now I think differently about clothes when I’m shopping. I ask myself, «Is this going to make me look my tallest, skinniest, best self?» If not, it never make it to the dressing room. I can’t wait to treat myself to a personal shopping day with Sydney!
If you’re in a rut or need a change or just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend Sydney and My Closet Cravings. She is FANTASTIC!

My Closet Cravings worked with me to go through my entire closet and help me get it in order as well as break out of a fashion rut. Sydney helped me weed out clothes that were outdated or didn’t fit anymore, put new outfits together with the remaining clothes, and created a shopping list of «must haves» to update and enhance my wardrobe. Once we had a list, she shopped with me to help me find the best fit and price from a variety of stores. She is very patient and non-​judgemental, and understood my need to keep to a budget. She will not try to push you to buy expensive designer wear or über-​trendy pieces (unless that’s what you’re looking for!) and she is fun to be around. I felt very comfortable having her in my home and shopping with her, and learned a lot in the process. She also helped me decide what to sell and donate. I highly recommend her and think this is a really good investment.

If you like to dress well, and your paying attention, there are still limits to your ability to pick things out that represent you well. This is why you need an expert — to daringly try things out that you normally would not pull off the rack and try on.
In my case, I can go for days buying suits, dress shirts, jeans, stuff I have been wearing for years but what about that other look? What about that cardigan? If you look like a fool, you want to know before you make the purchase. :-) However, if you look great, you have level’ed up and can’t wait to wear it out.
I highly recommend this service. It is like getting hit over the head with a «I-​look-​frickin-​awesome-​stick»
You can spend the money with this service and look good, or you can go it alone and look average at best.

My Closet Cravings had a HUGE impact on my life and is a permanent line item in my budget. I was in a total Banana Republic rut and needed a big change to find myself again after years of overworking and neglecting my appearance. Sydney was a dream to work with and helped me:
–Purge clothes that were bad choices for my figure
–Understand what looks good on me regarding fit, style
–CREATED new outfits out of stuff I already had and would never have thought to wear together
–Learn about new places to shop for both stretching your budget and for splurging
–Save a ton of money by shopping with me and helping me buy the right things vs. things that would just later hang unworn in my closet
Sydney is extremely talented and so gentle and kind to work with (critical attributes for someone who is watching you try on clothes!) I’ve recommended her to tons of friends and colleagues and not one has been anything other than ECSTATIC about their experience. As they say, two thumbs way up!
