Suffering from fatigue, dizziness, autoimmunity, allergies, autism, depression, brain fog, pain and no answers? Wally Taylor MD has over 30 years of experience finding answers for and reversing these chronic inflammatory diseases by integrating holistic, functional care with traditional Western medical care.
Dr. Taylor says, «I gravitated toward holistic medicine as I became frustrated that the tools and drugs I had been taught in Medical School proved insufficient to deal with many of the chronic illnesses that my patients were suffering from. This has proved to be the most personally rewarding transition of my life!»
Chronic disease is the result of genetic predisposition as influenced by multiple environmental triggering factors. Combining thorough patient history, personal genome assessment and symptom-based functional testing, Dr. Taylor has learned to use diet, lifestyle modification, nutrient support, bioidentical hormones, natural medicines, and when necessary prescription medicines to enhance and restore the body’s own natural healing powers.
History
Established in 2014.
After pursuing medical training at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completing residency training in Otolaryngology/Allergy training in the United States Army, Dr Taylor served for 20 years with the US Army retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He then practiced general ENT/Allergy for 21 years in Colorado before returning to Texas in 2008. He practiced with the NeuroSensory Center of Austin before establishing his own private practice in August of 2014. His new practice has allowed him to expand into bio-individualized genome based medicine stressing the role of gene variants as contributors to chronic illness and premature aging. He also has expanded into the treatment of allergies with Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) as a safe, painless and affordable way to reduce the inflammation associated with the allergic condition
