He didn’t say he could take it directly but was adamant that he would assist me in finding someone in his network that could help me out. I’d like to mention something to the person that gave the bad review below; if you call a law office and ask them for their counsel you should probably provide a name. You even said you gave another place your nickname. There is no way to verify if a name you give to someone is real or not over the phone so there’s no reason you could not have told James that your name was Billy Bob or anything else. I wouldn’t be surprised if you work for a competing lawfirm. I’m just an individual that called James because friend pointed his contact info out to me and I had a great experience.
I’m confident that whoever else calles James for assistance will get just that, but you, obviously, have to be willing to work with the person that is to help you. :) Cheers.

As a small business owner James is more about getting himself paid. He kills deals and doesn’t care b/​c he will still make his money off you.

2. I briefly explained my situation to determine if he could be the right attorney for my situation. He said he could likely refer me while unable to take the case himself. In lieu of providing me with the name of the other attorney, he proceeded to ask me a few other questions… where was fine… then asked me for my private information which I was uncomfortable giving since it is a small world and we have NO ESTABLISHED CLIENT ATTORNEY relationship. He immediately said «I can’t help you if you don’t give me the information I need.»
I fail to see how my name is relevant if a referral is to be made.
3. I called another firm — they politely took down my nickname and contact info and said they would call me back after speaking with the attorney — with a referral!
Whatever happened to being a professional and helping others.
Disappointed.
