The Vapor Project

Not very happy with the service! I asked a simple question, and no one would answer it. I spent 100 dollars on a vape kit and it broke in like 4 days/​I was told it was my fault that the charger port was broken. I simply told to explain to the man, that is not possible since i have not charged it since they day i got it. It never came with a charging cable, as i was told i was told they were out until the following day.
To sum it all up they were ruud, uncaring, andvery disorganized. IM extremely unhappy with the service. I will not be going back. I have also left the product in the store, and am currently in talks with my credit card company to receive reimbursement through them as they have such service and product procedures to get refunded when the merchant will not work with you. VERY UNHAPPY STAY AWAY.

Ron and crew were very helpful in getting me oriented to the world of vaping. Yeah, you can buy you gear online, but nothing beats having local guys who are knowledgeable and helpful while trying to make a living like the rest of us. Keep up the good work. Will definitely be back when I need my next round of juice.

Excellent vape shop

This was the first vape shop I’d ever been to. They were extremely helpful and the staff is super cool. It seems like a chill place to just hang out.

Very knowledgable. Love the rewards program. The only downside is that they sometimes are out of the things I need. Otherwise it’s my favorite vapor shop. Try waterberry chill for a new flavor! It’s my favorite.

THE best vape shop in Austin. Been going there about three months now, and the crew in there is awesome. Knowledgable, friendly, and just cool.

Great local shop with friendly employees. Sometimes they may be out of one of my flavors but that just encourages me to try something new! Definitely recommend The Vapor Project over other vape shops in the area.

As my previous reviews have stated, The Vapor Project is completely solid. One of the best vapor shops I’ve ever shopped at.
I would like to give a shout-​out to Carl, who I think is a newer employee there. He went out of his way to help me with selecting a box mod and some juice. He answered all my questions thoroughly and showed excellent customer service. He even cut me a deal, since I was buying the box mod, tank, batteries and charger. I ended up selecting the Pioneer4You IPV3 Li, and a Sense Herakles sub-​ohm tank. He even upgraded the software on the IPV3 (yes, the fricking thing has *software*).
Anyway, it was a very good experience and I got an awesome setup for a great price, thanks to Carl. Keep it up, guys!

A very knowledgeable owner and employees. They also have a wide selection of E Liquids. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to start E cigarettes.

I really like the Vapor Project. They have lots of juices to choose from and let you sample as many as you like. I had previously gone to Create A Cig and they limit you to how many you can try. The staff is always welcoming, helpful with any questions you have and knowledgeable. I purchased a different filter for my vaporizer and ended up not liking them as much as my usual ones. They let me come in and swap out the box for the ones I usually get with no hassle or questions. They also have a rewards program that you can earn points towards juice and discounts. I have gotten a few free bottles of juice this way. I would recommend Vapor Project to anyone from beginners with questions or experienced vapor lovers.

i was pointed to the vapor project shop through another nice little shop, pink lion, at lakeline mall when they were out of wire i was looking for. This shop was definitely my new go to brick and mortar store. The staff, like most of the other reviews mention, was very friendly and helpful. I’ve been multiple times, and every time they’ve helped me find exactly what i needed, from helping me find the perfect flavour at their awesome juice bar, to grabbing any accessory i might need, and even helping find the right mod as a gift for a friend stepping up from her first e-​go style vape. All around a fun shop to visit, and I always walk away happy with what i grab, and so far every product has been great. Oh and definitely sign up for their rewards program thing, if you’re a regular shopper there you get great little discounts, my last spending spree i saved around 20 bucks!

I don’t smoke but bf does. Vapor project has best selection and AMAZINGLY customer service! Have been to several others around Austin. They are #1!

I used to have a lot of respect for this shop because they gave promise to steer me clear of knock off products when I started vaping. They helped me identify that my products previously bought at a shop a few lights down were knock offs. Now they are knocking off a local vape shops box mod?! Unbelievable! I’ve since lost all respect for this shop and refuse to come in anymore. I’ll make the longer trip to a shop that is respectful in the vaping industry and is true to their word and will be true to their consumers.

I tried vaping to quit smoking about a year and a half ago. I got an ecig from Create-​a-​Cig. I paid almost $ 100 and the guy was just trying to sell as opposed to really answering my questions. I went back another time and had the same overpriced, there to sell experience.
I went to VP about a month ago to give it another try. The guy behind the counter, not sure of his name but a guy with tats and dreds, answered my questions, told me the difference between the PG and VG mix on the juices, had me try a bunch of juices, explained a few things to remember when vaping and I walked out of the store with a new cig starter kit and a months supply of juice for $ 38. The ecig is almost identical to the one I got a CAC but for half the price. The liquid was about half the price as well.
I just went back for another bottle of juice and the girl behind the counter was helpful.
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with VP.
Oh, and it has been exactly 4 weeks since I last smoked a cig. I intend to taper down on the nicotine juice (I believe they come in strengths from 20mg to 0mg) and then quit altogether. So if my plan works I will not be a customer of theirs for very long!

This is by far my favorite vape shop!

I just reviewed another vapor shop a moment ago, and had to refrain from post ing something like ‘The best shop in Austin’… and The Vapor Project is the reason for my hesitation. While I could pretty much just paste the same review, and change a few things… that would be no fun.
The Vapor Project is another shop in Austin that is dear to my heart. I wish it were just a little closer to me.
They have friendly, knowledgeable staff, a fantastic selection of devices for beginners to advanced users, and they stay on top of what is going on in the industry. There is always something new at TVP whether it’s a new device, a new juice line or even new information.
This is another shop where I consider the staff as friends. And this is from a customer perspective. I didn’t know any of them before walking in the door. However, I am greeted by name, and with a smile. And I always look forward to seeing each and every one of them at events.
But that has no bearing on the purpose of this review. If you are looking for a local shop that takes care of their customers as well as their community, look no further.
From the person who is looking for their first device to help them quit smoking to the hobbyist looking for new toys… you will be met with a wealth of knowledge, a friendly smile and a fair price.

One of the best! Ron, the owner is a hell of a nice guy. Excellent customer service. Everyone there is super nice. From beginner to advanced, this shop has you covered! Great variety of gear and mods. Nice line of mechanicals. Try the Alpha Sweet Tooth and Mothers Milk by Suicide Bunny.

They know their products!
I’ve tried several different tank systems over the years and have never been a fan (I direct drip). Although they didn’t have what I was looking for, a 510 atomizer, the owner recommended a product after i explained my dilemma and even let me try it out before i bought. Now after all these years I have finally found one that I can use and not have to constant direct drip. $ 12 for a pack of 5! This is going to save me some money as well. Awesome place!
EDIT: The cartomizer was the iClear 16 if anyone is wondering.
