Love this place and have been coming here for years. It helps that it’s right around the corner from where we live. I’ve never had anything bad on their menu and their breakfast tacos are the bomb! The Migas plate and the huevos ranchero are pretty darn good as well! Carne Asada is done just right. The only complaint I would ever have is that sometimes it’s hard to find a table on Sunday mornings depending on the time you go in.

I’ve never had anything bad here. I’ve never had bad service. Everything is spot on, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing. Their salsa is perfect every visit. The three extra choices of sauces in squeeze bottles are perfect for whatever you order. My favorite is the Carne Asada. The chips are light and flaky. Perfect! They serve breakfast, but I have not tried it yet, so I can’t speak to it, but their specialties are phenomenal!

This is really a no frills style neighborhood Mexican diner in a parking strip. I’ve been here twice now, once for breakfast tacos(yum) and again for chicken fajitas(a quite generous portion) which had great flavor. Though sometimes hard to interpret, the waitstaff is prompt and polite. Tried the margaritas: inexpensive and pack a punch! They are served in plastic glasses The atmosphere is a bit to be desired, high Kelvin scale fluorescent lighting in a dropped 8′ ceiling of acoustical tile, But the full parking lot alone should be a testament to its affordable and tasty food.

They serve four salsas with the chips. The Chilanga is phenomenal. We came here to have some Menudo. It was great. They don’t serve the posole, so you need to ask to have it added. Inside the restaurant it smells like great food, unlike others that smell like burned/scorched grill. They also have a jukebox, which belts out some great music. We’ll be back. You should visit.

Hands down some of the best mexican food I have ever had and their prices are so reasonable. Also the margarita on the rocks was made perfectly. Our party had various dishes, and everybody raved at the taste. Friendly staff and the place was clean and quaint. We went on a Wednesday night about 7 and the place was half filled or more. We have been before but we live fairly far away. Well worth the drive!

So far the service has been great and the food was yummy. I had chilaquiles and my husband had caldo de res. The chilaquiles we great, tortilla chips were nice and crunchy. Sauce was good too. I preferred the red sauce(I had both on my plate). The caldo was good too. The only complaint he had was the meat was a little too fatty. We will definitely be coming back.

Great service! Good food. Very reasonable prices, but the service is the biggest part for me. Not a five because meat quality could be a bit better but for the price you can’t really complain.

Thankfully, I grew up in the neighborhood right around the corner from this place and have been having breakfast here regularly through out my entire childhood. And I can honestly say, in their entire 13 years of business and me frequenting it regularly… I have only ever had breakfast here. Cuz it’s the BEST! Best migas around. Best breakfast tacos around. If you haven’t ever been here… GO! The same people still run it. It’s always good. Love Guadalajara

This place is great. We went for breakfast but I’m looking forward to eating lunch here sometimes. We went on a Saturday morning and they were very busy. I ordered the huevos rancheros. They were great. It was served with refried beans and fried potatoes. They both were awesome. The ranchero sauce was very flavorful. The eggs were done a perfect over easy. I have ordered them twice now and both times were the same and terrific. Consistency is the key. We like the salsa verde so you have to ask for a bottle of it in the mornings. It’s a little spicy but packs a ton of flavor. They serve salsa on the table and it’s super flavorful also. Will be back gor lunch very soon. Yum

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! The waitstaff is so rude right up until you go pay, and they circle your tip spot! Haha seriously?! If the nachos weren’t so addicting, I’d never come back!

I have only been here for breakfast and I like it! They have a good selection. Burritos, tacos, pancakes, and good breakfast platters. It is really affordable which makes it easy to stop by frequently. The staff is really friendly. They all get along so well with one another and with their customers, especially their regulars. Oh, and you know how sometimes at other places you end up with a waiter or waitress who cant quite get it together and check on you frequently? Not here. They all help each other. Different ladies will come and refill your drink and just check up on you. I love that! The environment just makes you feel right at home. For those of you who like to jam out while eating, they have a jukebox for you! All in all, I would recommend this place for breakfast. Ill check out their lunch/dinner and let you all know my opinion.

My newest favorite spot for authentic Mexican food. They are consistently good regardless of what I order. Lots of seating but they can max out especially on Sunday. They are worth the wait if you have to wait 20 minutes though. Try the different salsas the bring to the table in squirt bottles. I especially like the 2 green ones.

First visit today with my wife for lunch. I had two tacos, one barbacoa and one chicken fajita. My wife had a plain cheese quesedilla. Arguably the best barbacoa I’ve ever had. Tender, great flavor, topped with chopped white onion and cilantro. Horchata was fantastic as well. 4-stars for the food, 5-stars for the price. So hard to find a cheap lunch anymore! Great taqueria staples, perfectly executed. Will definitely be returning!

They have gone from pretty good to don’t waste your money. We have been coming here for over 5 years. It was one of our fav Taqueria’s. Tonight, we left hungry and will never return. 2 of our 3 simple dinner orders were set in front of us wrong. We were able to see the dinner ticket and the waitress did write it down correctly. So the being prepared wrong food rests more on the kitchen but the waitress should have noticed. When they delivered the food and we pointed out the error they took one of the plates and disappeared. Mine was still wrong and sitting in front of me. It’s something I wouldn’t order or much less eat. So I waited for someone to resurface… I mean surely they would refill our drinks, chips, check on us right? Nope. After 15 minutes we walk up to the register. She rang up all the meals. I said nope. Let’s try that again. She then said, «why did you eat your food and now complain?» Uh oh. OHNOSHEDIDN’T. So I walked back to the table grabbed my plate and set it on the counter. «I didn’t and no one ever came back to the table — you were all hiding in the kitchen until those people entered.» So we had a stand-off and finally paid $ 17 for 3 teas and 1 dinner so we just get out of there to go eat somewhere else.

Breakfast review: They have a sister store on N. Lamar. I like this joint better. This review is for the breakfast only. They have the same good deals as their sister store. Get there between 0600 — 1100 and you can eat cheap. 4 — 6 $ plate deals and taco deals. The breakfast food is good and the service is usually pretty good. If they get crowded, well, you know. My favorite breakfast plates here are the Huevos a la Mexicana(sometimes con queso[’coz I’m all about that white cheese]) and the Huevos Rancheros. Sometimes the Huevos a la Mexicana comes out with way too much jalapenos, which is a disappointment. I guess it depends on whose cooking? I have tried the Migas here and I didn’t really care for it. It was more like tortilla strips and white cheese. MEH. The staff are friendly and the place is really clean. It is small and can fill up quickly. If you are looking for a good cheap breakfast non-American style, give this place a try. I am a bacon freak and every time I order a side of bacon here they bring me like nine pieces! Check my picks! And it’s cheaper than the American joints!

I have tried this place several times hoping one day they will exceed my expectations, but they have been consistently bland. The meats never have flavor and are of a low grade quality. I’m really speechless as far as describing the quality of food. Arturo’s Border Café, down the road, in comparison is much more satisfying. Unfortunately this place is consistently closed every time I’m want to eat a taco or burrito.
