When Ray came into our lives, we were living with five small dogs in an apartment. None of my dogs were potty trained, they barked constantly at anything that made a sound, slept in the bed with us, and pretty much controlled my entire life. If I didn’t find a way to take control and get these five dogs housebroken, we both knew we wouldn’t be able to keep our babies. Ray took on our extreme case and I assured him I was 100% ready to adopt his training techniques.
We moved into a new house (which was already in the process) and Ray came to our home and helped correct my dogs’ behavior. You have to understand, one of my dogs is so tiny that she has bladder issues, one use to suffer from separation anxiety, one was stubborn beyond belief but still very sensitive, one thought he was a Great Dane stuck in a 4lb body, and the Yorkie was so use to getting what he wanted that I swear the look on his face was «Do you really think this is going to work?» I knew the odds were stacked against me because dogs have to be trained one on one and often have a pack mentality that is a domino effect. When one dog barks, the other four feel the need to chime in without knowing what they are barking at.
Although not perfect, my dogs and I have made immense progress thanks to Ray’s training. As much as Ray helped change my dogs’ behavior, he also helped me mentally approach this training with patience and consistency. My dogs are now potty trained, they don’t incessantly bark at people that come over, they stay where I tell them, stay off the couch, and respect our living space. I am so thankful to Ray for his patience with my extreme situation and would recommend his training services to ANYONE with a dog that is feeling like they need help with their beloved fur babies.

I do not recommend Ray, the dog trainer. His pit bull hurt my cat very badly. His pitbull aggressively charged my cat and left him bleeding. As part of the basic training package Ray brings over his Pit Bull dog to socialize the student dog. The Pit was very relaxed around my dog; however, the Pit saw my cat and ran across the yard towards him in what I considered to be a very aggressive manner and there was a confrontation between the two pets. After Ray left my home I noticed that my cat was bleeding in several places. His chin was bleeding and all four paws had the pads ripped. The next day I noticed that my cat was in great pain walking and walked with a limp. I contacted Ray through email to let him know that I was unhappy. Ray responded, «I have a very structured schedule that I cannot take the time to ensure there are no other animals not part of our dog training contract that we signed that will interfere with the training lesson. That is the owners sole responsibility as I am invited to your home as a guest to provide the training.» My problem with his comment is that I discussed through text messaging with Ray the day prior that I wanted to teach my puppy to respect my cat’s personal space, so he was aware that I had a cat because it was on our agenda for the puppy training session. My other issue is that Ray is a paid professional in on my property; he is not a guest. Guests do no require me to sign a contract, paid professionals do. My two pets cannot currently co-​exist together, because my cat is now very afraid of dogs. He runs to the other room whereas before he just kept a 5 – 10 ft distance from my dog. I filed an Animal Control Police Report to document the incident. I also requested a 50% refund for the 3^rd and 4^th training sessions and for Ray to cover my vet bills. Ray and I disagreed on the percentage that he should refund me as well as the percentage that should be covered in vet bills.

Ray is an outstanding dog trainer. My dog used to bark at everything and I could never get enough sleep to make it through a 12 hour shift. The barking was so bad I couldn’t even sit in the living room for longer than 30 minutes because he barked all the time. I finally gave in and realized we needed help. Ray took the time to consult with me and we started training on our first meeting. After the first session, I already saw a positive change in my dog. A few sessions later and constant training, I’m able to sleep and hang out in the living room for hours on end with hardly any issues. He’s also walking on his leash better, he’s less anxious and is overall a much happier dog. I can’t thank Ray enough for his help. The money paid is well worth it and I would recommend Ray to anyone looking for a qualified and dedicated dog trainer.

Ray is the ultimate dog whisperer. I had a bit of a hyper dog with a puppy mind in an adult body who wanted to jump on everyone and everything, and nearly pulled my arm out every time we went on a walk. He has now matured into a dog that has mellowed, respects boundaries (without losing his lovable personality), and even walks calmly by my side. Ray was collaborative from the start and extremely flexible with scheduling. He also took the time needed for an in-​depth consultation with my dog and I, and he set honest expectations based on my dog’s behavior. Overall, it was a great and professional experience and I would highly recommend his program to anyone in the area.

Ray is the best dog trainer in town. He gave me the tools & confidence to teach our goldendoodle, coco, how to behave. I would recommend Ray to anyone!

Ray is an outstanding dog trainer. My elderly mother lives alone in a big house and we wanted to get a dog to keep her company and provide protection. I acquired a three year old German Shepard for her. Although the dog had a great pedigree, she had issues of jumping on people, not obeying and aggressiveness towards other dogs.
A big challenge was that I live out of town and my mother had only part time care-​givers. Not the best situation for a dog to be mastered. I had trained dogs as a teenager so I had knowledge of dog training. I contacted Ray and when he came for the first visit he asked that other interacting family members and care-​givers be present for an orientation meeting. This was perhaps the most important aspect of the success. Ray explained the psychology of training a dog and all the necessary principles. I knew from experience that a well-​trained dog without an informed Master does not work.
By the time Ray left the first day the jumping problem was almost eliminated. In the three subsequent visits over three weeks basic obedience was accomplished, the aggressiveness subdued and she became a great companion. The daily short training sessions Ray instructed the family members and care-​givers to conduct with the dog worked like clockwork and she progressed daily.
Ray has an understanding and technique of dog training that is really successful.
I highly recommend him.

While he’s a little pricey, I definitely learned a lot and benefitted from Ray and his training! So many little things I never knew were contributing to my dogs attitude and demeanor! I have a husky who was always so sweet until you tried to take something she wanted. With Rays help, that changed quickly and now with just a quick command she’ll surrender whatever she’s guarding. Like I said it costs a lot of money, but I think that actually helped keep me accountable in my efforts of working with my baby. Thanks Ray for your help!

Ray is an amazing dog trainer. We have an incredibly sweet, but hyperactive and protective dog that is often misunderstood. We were at our wits end with her scaring the neighbors and disrupting our daily routine.
Even during our first meeting, Ray did an awesome job getting her to listen and follow directions when she was «locked in» on various distractions, something I thought would take weeks to accomplish. Since then, it has been a series of huge steps, knocking down problem behaviors at a great pace! She is seriously a different, sweeter dog now than she was just a few months ago.

Our dog is normally super sweet and loving, but she had a problem with barking non-​stop all day and night at neighbors, kids, cars and any sounds in general happening outside. Also her out of control behavior during car rides was driving us insane. Ray has seriously been a lifesaver!
At our initial consultation, Ray saw the behavior and was able to teach us how to address and correct her properly. We saw an improvement that very night, no joke! I was skeptical at first about how well our stubborn, 3-​year-​old corgi would take to dog training, but Ray was seriously amazing. After the first session all my fears were gone. Our puppy listened and respected him immediately and he showed us how to change our relationship with her so she would respect us too. He taught us so much and now we have a well behaved dog, calm car rides, easy walks and a quiet house with no more barking!

Like I said, I was scared at first because I didn’t know what to expect from dog training — but if you listen to Rays tips and lessons and put in the work with your dog every day, you’ll get great results.

Ray is an outstanding dog trainer! Our dog has a mind of her own, and we worried that she might be untrainable. Within just a few weeks of working with Ray, she had literally become a new dog in every way. Ray is very passionate about his work and is courteous and respectful of his clients and their dogs. We highly recommend Ray for any of your training needs. We have recommended Ray to many of our friends with various training needs. We would like to share our story with everyone who is interested in an amazing trainer. We’ve always wanted a playmate for our american pitbull terrier Mattie. We adopted a 4 and a half month old dogo mix Opal. For about a month they were bestfriends. They played together, slept together, etc. After that however, was a different story. We dealt with an array of issues from dominance to jealousy which ultimately led to them getting into it on multiple occasions. After a few altercations Mattie would end up with open wounds on her legs while Opal didn’t sustain any up until the last time. We then knew we had a serious issue on our hands that only Ray could help with. During our first visit with Ray he said that this was going to be a long process but that if we could stick it out it would be worth it in the end. During the process we had a couple of conversations about what we would do with Opal if it didn’t get better but in the end he was right. After about 6 months of working with them everyday we watched their relationship evolve into a happy loving relationship. We took Ray’s training advice of crate training, integrating, and the mastery of basic training commands to heart. Since then it has been a weight lifted from our shoulders and such a joy to see them together. Now they eat dinner together, sleep together and generally love on each other in any situation. Due to Ray training us as well to have the confidence in ourselves we have been able to bring in yet another pitbull mix without any issues. Ray was right, it was worth every difficult moment for us to see the results of a happy loving pack! Again, we highly recommend Ray because if it wasn’t for him we would not have a well behaved pack. Ray is an amazing Dog Trainer. After my dog killed another animal, I freaked out and was worried taking her anywhere. She is a large German Shephered that lacked confidence especially in large crowds. She wouldn’t listen and barked at every dog that walked by me. Furthermore, she loved to urinate to greet. Ray, trained my dog and kept her for 3 weeks. She improved significantly. I would recommend ray without hesitation. He genuinely cares about dogs and resolving there issues. He follows up and makes sure the dogs are maintaining there progress. He also will work with your schedule to make dog training happen for you (early in morning or late in evening).

Ray is a very knowledgeable and professional trainer! My husky and I really learned a lot and enjoyed our time with Ray. I would definitely recommend hiring him if you want to have a great experience and learn successful training skills.

We took our unruly dog Cinnamon to Petsmart and introduced her to RAY, haha… Oh my goodness, what a change we have experienced. She is not perfect but we must say WAY more obedient than before meeting Ray. 2 thumbs up… Totally worth the money.
