They have sooo many options for food and for Boba drinks it’s amazing. The ey have reasonable prices to because what they give you serves like 2 people! I chose the shrimp, and jalapeño platter and it came with 2 rice scoops and macaroni salad. It smelled so good omw home and it tastes good. It is really salty though but I don’t mind. I also got the volcano boba. Also super delicious. Definitely coming back.

Came here a couple times and got the Moco Loco and Spam Masubi. The Moco Loco was tasty but they put a little too much gravy on it. Also the macaroni salad was pretty bland. Spam Masubi was great! Prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back.

We ordered 626 milks tea and Pina mix drinks. Drinks are good. We also ordered Shrimp and fish dishes. They tasted good but very salty. Price for food is very good if you stay with the basic. During the day, the area seems ok. I didn’t feel that the area is not that safe at night. Call ahead to order first if you are going at night.

Great portions, great prices and food is pretty good. Hawaiian food has gotten pretty familiar over the years and none really stand out anymore, so I just look for consistency, price and quality. These guys are right up there. Outdoor seating only and is limited, so plan to take your order to go.

So far only had the Atkins Combo, the guy at the counter is friendly and remembers you after a couple times. Their meat tastes fresh and little to no fat unlike other places I’ve tried. They also have some interesting boba/slush options.

Been here a few times. The food is delicious as well as the smoothies. Like their katsu chicken, which is very fresh and tasty. As for smoothies, I really enjoy both the thai and the green tea flavors. Give them a try.

This place is pretty good for being in Baldwin Park. Really liked the Combos, it’s so filling! The Loco Moco in my opinion is way better than Brody’s. I decided to try their drinks(not that great). The Diablito smoothie was just not to my liking. Spam masubis are pretty good. I like to add srircha to counteract the sweet and salty. ANDBESTCOMBOEVER. For the amount of food you get it’s definitely worth it.

Been here a few times and the quality of meat and chicken is much better than those at your standard hawaiian BBQ spots. The VOLCANO is a MUSTTRY for anyone new and old to this restaurant. Sometimes I just come for that!

This time around we decided to eat at the location, it was pretty chilly. Total of 12 $ spent! Warm French fries, extremely worth buying! Thin and crispy! Yummy! Less than 2 $ Our fav: spam masubi(2) less than 3 $ I ordered the mini chicken plate. Fried chicken, rice, and macaroni salad 100% delicious, are pretty much everything. Left a few pieces but the size in plate was very filling, and enough to for almost 2 people. Great deal! Please ownership buy chili sauce the chili vinegar! Would def compliment this place! Almond milk tea boba & watermelon green tea delicious!

Don’t let the exterior fool you. The food here is cheap, but really good! I always get the small loco moco(only $ 5.25). It comes with one egg and a beef patty. The gravy was very rich and tasty. Also, the boba here was SO good, I was pleasantly surprised. It was chewy and sweet, unlike some places where it doesn’t really taste like anything. AND a regular honey green milk tea is $ 2.5 with boba. Seriously, how cheap can this place be? Having gone to so many boba places, I can honestly say this is the best I’ve gotten. and I’m Asian so that really counts for something. As for the famous volcano smoothie, you’ll like it if you like coconut. It’s essentially strawberry with coconut milk. I throughly it was just ok, but I’m not a big coconut fan. All in all, LOVEE this place! You can get your belly full with just a little money!

Must say I was I did not know what to expect when I came to this place little hole in the wall but after reading the reviews I had to give it a try. I ordered a healthy barbecue chicken which came with a small salad and brown rice. The rice was a little hard and the salad was a typical garden salad was but the chicken was delicious! It seems to be marinated overnight and has a sweet and tangy flavor. It won’t break the bank either as all this was about $ 6 bucks after taxes. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the neighborhood and want to grab a quick bite for lunch. I also ordered a green tea honey tea with boba. Tea was not to sweet and extremely refreshing on a hot day.

Love this place! I’m glad it wasn’t closer to me otherwise I’d be here everyday. Most importantly, the macaroni salad is the best I’ve ever tasted! I can eat an entire tray. Well I do order an entire tray! The spam musubi is like any other, it is cool how they have katsu musubi and other meats though. I’ve ordered the curry chicken katsu & seafood platter before which both are delicious. Don’t think I’ve ever been unhappy with anything here. Their drinks are even amazing, there’s too many to try them all! This place is definitely a delicious gem with good prices!

It’s decent for what it is — high in calories, greasy meat chunks, and a carb overload that is hawaiian BBQ. Called ahead for the #1 combo: BBQ beef, BBQ chicken and chicken katsu served with two scoops of rice, a side of macaroni salad, and a scanty portion of sliced cabbage, and it was ready in ten minutes. The combo plate came with plenty of meat, marinated enough that we hardly used the sauces. $ 6.75 left us two feeling stuffed and almost regretful that we inhaled everything in such a short amount of time during lunch break. Not something I’d eat everyday but it was worth visiting because the drink menu looked great! Got the Perfect smoothie(passion fruit with strawberry) and it was served in a massive cup. Slightly too sweet to be considered«perfect» but still a nice treat on a warm day. I’d be more than happy to try the other flavors on their drink menu!

Place is pretty good. I would say a strong 4. We got the chicken combo and spam musubi. Portions are very generous. Both the chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken were cooked well. Chicken katsu had just the right amount of breading and was crispy. Teriyaki chicken was nice and flavorful. The combo also came with the usual standard plate lunch sides of 2 scoops of rice and Mac salad. Spam musubi was also pretty good. The sauce tasted like a gravy, but it was good. The sauce reminded me of the brown sauce used for moco loco. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back to try their drinks and other items.

I love this place. I just move down the street and tried this place out with my friend because we didn’t feel like driving out. Omg, everything here is mouth watering. Driving by, I didn’t expect this place to be soooooo good. But you know what they say, you can’t judge the book by its cover. I always get spam musubi here. It’s 2 pieces for 2 $. I tired their house special mix plate, which consist of chicken and beef with rice and their potato salad. It just so much for only 8 $! They even sell boba here. Their boba isn’t bad for its price too. You can even get their chicken bowl that come with boba milk tea for only 5 $. The prices here are amazing. Definitely coming back here. Too bad you can’t dine in though :/

SWEETBABYJESUS! The portions here are gargantuan! Who the heck do you people think you’re cooking for? Michael freakin Phelps?! 626 Hawaiian BBQ& Boba boasts gigantic portions and an impressive pearl drink menu with a myriad of milk teas and smoothies, however, their food menu is just okay. You’ll find the usual Hawaiian bbq staples, katsu, musubi, curry, and saimin. Then they have some rather interesting items fried mahi mahi as well as mahi mahi musubi. I had this hankering for some comfort food and ordered the mini serving of their loco moco, spam musubi, and a passion fruit greet tea with pearls. The loco moco was somewhat tasty and the accompanying macaroni salad was good as well(they didn’t OD on liquid or skimp on the noodles). Nothing terribly special. The musubi wasn’t bad, though they may have overdosed on the rice. And my tea was solid. I think that the generous 4-star rating really just reflects their generous portion size and affordability. I mean, I ordered the mini and barely finished… I would recommend the volcano drink with boba, tho. My aunt ordered this and I had a few sips. It’s coconut milk and strawberries with boba. I enjoyed it. The drink was quite delicious. It only comes in one size(large) but is only priced at $ 3! There are a few drawbacks to 626. First, there is no indoor seating, which is kind of a bummer. Moreover, the seats outside appeared to be rather dirty. Furthermore, I’m guessing they make most of their orders fresh as our food took a while even though we were the only customers, but this also means there could be a quite a wait if a line forms. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at 626! I’m not normally in the area, but I’ll keep this place in mind if I’m ever back. Check this place out if you get the chance!

Ever since I moved to Riverside, I have been craving some Hawaiian BBQ. I Really enjoyed the L&L bbq back home. I tried looking up for some in the area, however, the reviews weren’t as great here. I have tried Ono Hawaiian BBQ& that was a HUGE disappointment. So I was super excited when I saw this place on Unilocal and it was so close to school… I just had to check it out! The format of the restaurant is similar to Weinerschnitchel. sorta like a house. The parking spot was tiny and there are no drive thru! There was only two workers when I came but I am assuming that this is a family business. I ordered the #1 combo which was a combination of 3 meats: bbq chicken, chicken Katsu, & bbq beef w/a side of macaroni salad & rice. I also ordered a House special chicken which was the chicken Katsu meal that came with rice and macaroni grill. While I was on Unilocal I saw the volcano smoothie which was a «yelp favorite» so I had to try it! The food took a while to come out since there were only 2 people working. It wasn’t crowded but it was def understaffed. The food finally came out and I couldn’t wait to try it! I tried the volcano smoothie with boba right away and it was a little disappointing. I did not taste the coconut that was in the smoothie. It tasted water down. The cherry or strawberry syrup that was in the drink was also lacking flavor. The boba however was delicious, it was soft and chewy just the way boba should be! The food was good! I wish I hadn’t wait to get home(a 50 min drive) to eat it. By the time I ate the food, my chicken was not as crispy as I had hope it would be. I will definitely try this place again and this time I’ll eat at the place. For the chicken Katsu, it came with a sauce that was similar to salsa. I did not like the sauce. The macaroni salad was alright, not as good compare to the ones I have had before. The rice was delicious, it was fluffy and soft. I knocked off the star because of the sauce, the texture of the chicken, the wait, and the location(no indoor seatings, only 4 benches outdoors). I would come back though just to try some other stuff on the meau!
