Jerry carry is the best. The cheesesteak egg rolls with the spicy mustard is some kind of god send.

Jerry’s Carryout is the best chinese food you could ever feed yourself. Although, I wouldn’t recommend any of the«american classics». They have tofu and bean curd soup, so there are vegan/vegetarian options. It looks scuzzy and dark from the outside but there is no better or cheaper chinese food in Charles North. Plus they’re open late so you can eat past 11pm.

Whe I first started going to jerry carry out I saw it a a spot to go while out for drinks and wanting a late night snack! Afterwards I moved just a few blocks away and it’s my go to dinner place when I don’t feel like cooking or come home late. Staff is super nice and very understanding to dietary needs. My favorite is their general Tso tofu, chicken wings, chicken teriyaki, spring rolls, shrimp lo mein, shrimp basket, and surprisingly their pizza can be good! At times the pizza is hit or miss but out of 5 times I’ve eaten it was bad and upset my stomach once! Their chicken dinners look amazing but had yet to order it. I’m assuming it’s delicious bc every time I go there is at least one person ordering it. Their food is well priced for what you get! And did times priced so well you still have left overs for the next day! I them five stars for a carry out place!

Jerry Carry out is great They’re open late for when you’re drunk(but not as late as they used to stay open) but don’t be a jerk. Bourbon chicken, General tsos, chicken tenders, egg rolls Yeah probably don’t order the pizza, just because it’s on the menu doesn’t mean it’s going to be good. Stick with the Chinese take out stuff or whatever is written on those signs taped to the walls

Don’t ever get the pizza. Worst decision I ever made for my stomach. The pizza was super doughy and not fully cooked. Gave me diarrhea all night. Maybe the Chinese food is decent, idk.

Jerry’s general tso’s chicken is better than the general tso’s at asian taste but it is not as good as the general tso’s chicken at panda express. I wish I lived closer to panda express.

Food is good for great price. Crispy beef is excellent. The menu is very large with a mixture of Chinese and American fast food. I like the fact that you can see the entire kitchen and that it is very clean. Order by telephone in advance so that you are not having to wait for the food.

I don’t know what happened but, back in 2011 Jerry’s was okay. Now there’s a new lady working the register that barely knows English and has messed up my order a few times and when asked about it has LIED twice. She waved her hands all over top of my food in an attempt to explain something to me, I had to get upset in order for her to communicate with the cooks about my order but THEN she shared a few laughs after talking in her language in front of me. I will NEVER eat here again. The food is mediocre as well as the service. I hope they get it together

If the arrival of a Thai restaurant is the sign of a neighborhood in the early stages of gentrification, the presence of a Chinese/Italian/Soul-food take-out joint is the hallmark of a neighborhood that is holding on to its old ways. Jerry has all the trimmings: language barrier, bulletproof glass, low prices. It also has tasty food and a clean kitchen. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I live nearby and passed by the place fairly often… i was curious and decided to give it a try. Not bad. When you enter, you’ll notice a huge menu posted along the walls as well as a a few chairs for you to sit and wait. There are no tables. There’s a huge menu here. It’s mostly Chinese food but there are some other(random) items as well such as subs(brilliantly found in their carry out menu under the title«Submarine Fleet»), pizza, wings, and seafood(including crab cakes!). Now, with a menu that extensive, I’m sure there’s bound to be a lot of misses and mediocre choices… but I just went with a General Tso’s chicken and thought it was pretty good. I ordered a «small size» and it looked pretty small… the container with the chicken was just slightly bigger than say a hamburger bun’s size. However, it was surprisingly pretty filling… and you couldn’t really complain considering it was under $ 6. The chicken was soft and tender but not crispy. The sauce was flavorful but was a little more watery compared to those of most Chinese joints. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t outright horrible either. Now the previous Unilocal review made the area seem like Jerry Carry-Out is in the middle of the ‘hood and all… but it’s really not that bad. It just a block or two down from Joe Squared. Granted, it’s not exactly the best place(Station North is described as «up-and-coming») so I wouldn’t venture here late at night(the menu says that they are open till 4AM on some nights!), but I walked a few blocks from my house and had no problems at all. I’d probably come back once in a while.

In a run-down neighborhood of Baltimore sits Jerry Carry-Out offering cuisines that no single restaurant should offer: 1. Chinese 2. Pizza/Italian 3. Soul Food 4. Seafood 5. Submarine Sandwiches This makes ordering difficult, especially when you’ll probably want to be in and out ASAP. I’d compare the neighborhood to be somewhat like Detroit. Lots and lots of boarded up buildings and small pockets of people just hanging out. After deliberating about my order, I figured since the people running the restaurant were Chinese I should stick within their specialty. For $ 5, I got a small order of chicken and mixed vegetables with brown sauce. Cheap and delicious, I was filled right up with some food to spare. My South Korean friend had a bite and said the brown sauce was better than most places in New York City where she lives so I figured this place must be pretty good. I didn’t like my fortune from the cookie, but that’s not stopping me from giving Jerry Carry-Out four stars.
