Specialties
Don’t let the fact that we are a new establishment sway you, we are pioneering a unique and creative way to add flavors to foods we all love to eat! We infuse a variety of original cold smoked flavor to our sauces, cooking oils, homemade butter, macaroni noodles & pork bellies for bacon sliced in house. We also use a hot smoker to make mouth watering dry rubbed baby back ribs, pulled pork, ham, smoked turkey, smoked chicken and anything else we can get our hands on. We proudly serve 100% natural local angus beef. We have a great cup of chili & different soup specials daily, like creole smoked turkey gumbo, potato leak w/corned beef or delicious chowders & stews. We use an array of different types of wood depending on what we are smoking, from fruit trees to hickory. Our staff is small and very attentive as we are a bunch of local kids with a great crazy dream and so far its working. Come check us out and find out for yourselves!
History
Established in 2014.
By the age of 5 I knew I was different than the other kids. I was a loner who really enjoyed doing things by myself. Around the age of 7 my grandfather, Frank Smith, began to set the foundation for the man I am today. Frank was orphaned at the age of 3 and not taken in by a family until he was 10. This family was from Maine and he was immediately put to work as a kitchen helper in a logging camp in the greater Rangeley area. Growing up in this area Frank gained experience with hunting, fishing & survival. At the age of 16 he became one of the youngest hunting guides in the state. His life was rich with the experiences of getting charters home safe, and becoming one with the outdoors, though his pockets were poor.
Frank, in his mid-thirties moved to North Hampton, NH and began to farming and finding ways to create a new life. He started to get creative with making cheese and meat preservation. One of his best friends was George Calef Sr., a man that was creating quite a market
