Attitash Bear Peak Ski and Summer Resort

We used our Peak Pass and experienced the best snowboarding this abysmal season. We arrived 7:30 and scored front parking. We were at the lift for first tracks. Awesome trails, great job grooming and a great overall vibe. The main summit lift is super slow, 13 – 22 min. depending upon the stops but there are two high speed quads. The best boarding of the season yesterday. LOVE Attitash.

Went to a fabulous charity event Red Parka’s Trike Race and wow what a great place. R
Renetta be proud, food was great, good selection (Trail Mix, Hamburgers and Bar was open).
If you have an out door event great place Cory had tunes playing and perfect weather…

Their «adventure» park is absolute nonsense and the biggest waste of money.
Expect to wait in line for 25 – 35 min per activity. And they only have four of them anyways.
The people working are fairly inept which is why the lines are so long. Mountain coaster gets stuck and you end up waiting for one of the fools to get it started. No refunds even if their rides are closed or don’t work.
Go to Cranmore, more activities and a better deal.

This review is for the ski hill only, I didn’t stay at the hotel/​resort.
The ski hill is very nice, lots of space, lots of runs.
The lift to the top of Attitash Peak, is a slow triple, which can get a little frustrating, watching the hi-​speed quad run past you (but only a little over half way up).
there was lots of snow, which was nice, the grooming was excellent, the staff were very friendly.
We ate Lunch at the Attitash hill lodge, food was excellent, beer was excellent, prices were very reasonable.
I would definitely go back for another week/​weekend of skiing.

I wasn’t as impressed this year for some reason.
There was a group of like 30 foreigners staying in our building (all in the same room i think) and they were stealing our picnic tables, leaving their trash around and physically abusing their toddlers (literally and disturbingly) on the property, and the staff did nothing for any of this.
The pool was really cold and the hot tubs were WAY too hot.
I love the new updates, but the mattress on the 3^rd floor is like sleeping on a hard bale of hay. My bones actually cracked when getting up.
It just wasn’t the wonderful place I remembered it being.

My family has stayed in this resort (via RCI timeshare exchanges) twice.
My parents have been members of the RCI exchange program for several years. I have visited about two dozen condos this this timeframe.
1. The space feels cramped. I’m not sure if it’s the low ceilings or the narrow width, but they just don’t feel open and welcoming like other condos I’ve stayed in.
2. The lighting is terrible.
3. The service level is inconsistent. The check-​in/​desk staff are very friendly, but the maintenance people are very strange. We asked for a vacuum cleaner, and they gave us a box and a screwdriver. They requested that we assemble the vacuum (with no apology) because they did not have enough time.
4. The swimming pool and other amenities (such as tennis courts, playgrounds, etc.) are nice, but seem older.
Overall, it is a fine place to stay, especially if you will be spending most of your time hiking or skiing in the White Mountains (Attitash mountain is just across the street, literally). But, for larger groups, I would recommend finding a different place to stay.
