Can’t say enough good things about Daniel. He came out to quote me on tearing out my deck, re-​grading my backyard, putting in a french drain, raising the window wells, some new landscape bushes, and a new brick patio. He was probably the 3 – 4 person I had come out to quote, and I knew right away I would hire him. He knew EXACTLY what I was asking for, and was confident in doing the work (not the case with the others). I was having water issues in my basement, and thus the regrade/​swale of the property, etc. He handled the filing for permits with the village for me which was a nice surprise. Everything went EXACTLY as he said it would. Once the village approved the plans, and we were ready, the work began when he said it would, and finished quickly, neatly, and on time. (so often that just doesnt happen). No surprises in price or work. In fact, he was even nice enough to save some bushes I decided to keep at the last minute and replant them for me as directed… FOR NO CHARGE. I will definately have him back out in the Fall to do some work out front. Seriously, you will not be disappointed. Call him today and get your yard in order!!!

This company did an extraordinary job. They were prompt in setting up and keeping an appointment for an estimate. They were true to their estimate. When scheduling their work, they were flexible with my schedule. They did beautiful work and cleaned up and left everything in a perfect state. I am so pleased! My husband and I were SO proud of the awesome garden wall we built in front of our home in 2011… however, Chicago winters and rains did not like the wall as much, so they knocked it down. I had contacted a different company about coming to fix the wall, but after months and months of back-​and-​forth, I got frustrated and just wanted our embarrassing front wall fixed. One Saturday afternoon in September, I went to Unilocal and found Daniel’s company. I sent an email and heard back that same day from Daniel. He asked for some pictures of our broken-​down wall and provided a quote only hours after my initial email (a lower quote than we were given by the other contractor I was going to use, by the way). His crew was even able to start earlier than the agreed-​upon day, and when I showed them our sad paver patio in the backyard, Daniel gave me some (very fair) options to fix or re-​build that patio as well. In less than a week from my first email to Daniel, we had a BEAUTIFUL new garden wall in front that is longer and higher than our original AND a paver patio in back that looks brand new. We get compliments all the time on how nice everything looks, and the pricing is extremely fair. I am so happy I contacted My Landscape Contractor, and I know I will be calling Daniel many times in the future to help us with landscaping and other «curb appeal» projects that we have. Daniel is a true professional in his field. Top notch workmanship and treats every project like he is working on his own home. Truly great to have the owner of the company actually involved in doing the work too. No issues with the crew not doing as planned. I had water drainage and major settling issues with my previous patio and walkways, he came in and transformed the entire landscape of my home. I am in the construction industry and I am a picky customer, but after getting multiple quotes, his innovative ideas and fair pricing made him an easy choice. I contacted Daniel to restore a front stoop and backyard patio. The work was performed on schedule and within budget. During the process Daniel was on site performing the work with his employees. He additionally explained what he wanted to accomplish and how he was going to do it. Daniel exceeded my expectations and was a excellent find for stone work, especially fixing other contractors mistakes. I have dealt with two other contractors over the pass 12 years and in comparison Daniel was the most experienced and detail orientated. I am going to use his services next year for a landscaping upgrade on my property.

I recently hired Daniel for a home project to redo a large amount of landscape & patio bricks that was in bad need of repair and to add a fire pit area to my patio. Daniel is very professional and his team did a great job on the entire project. He did exactly what he said he would do and for a reasonable price. The results look amazing. I started on a retaining wall myself and underestimated the complexity to be sure the wall would be level. I had the trench dug and materials already at the house, but decided I needed someone professional to come finish the job. I called Daniel (on Memorial Day weekend) and he called me back that night and showed up the next day, Memorial Day, to give me a quote. His price was fair and he was able to get out the next week. He and his team did incredible work and finished in 1 day. Daniel talked through everything and is very knowledgeable. They left the yard clean and even put down grass seed in front of the wall. I would highly recommend Daniel and «My Landscape Contractors» and I will likely be using them again in the future.

We hired Daniel a second time to rebuild a back retaining garden wall. He did a terrific job, managing to reuse the old stones we had, which saved us money and also kept that section of the yard looking more like the rest of the yard.
I should add that Daniel had done earlier work on rebuilding a slate outdoor landing. He did a great job on that, but we wanted him to redo a small section, narrowing the gaps between two stones. Whereas most contractors would have blown off our request, Daniel took care of the fix we needed free of charge. He is honest, responsible and stands by his work. What more can one ask for? We’d definitely hire him again!

We found My Landscape Contractor and Daniel through Unilocal as I have had quite a bit of luck hiring vendors on Unilocal this year. Our front stoop of paving bricks had become uneven & loose and needed a new foundation. All the vendors I called were right around the same price but Daniel came out the same day I called him and I found that impressive. He did a wonderful professional job in the time frame we needed and we are very pleased with the work. I would surely call My Landscape Contractor back again!

I used My Landscape Contractor to build a paver patio. They did a great job and left the jobsite clean at the end of the project. Daniel discussed all questions I had at the start of the project and throughout the project. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

We have used Daniel and his company once previously for an expansion of our brick paver patio during a remodel. The work was excellent, so we had him back to install a short landscape wall along two sides of our house, and a french drain system at the back of our property where we used to have standing water/​flooding issues. The work was done in a timely fashion, looks great, and no more standing water! I highly recommend Daniel and his crew.
