Last time I checked which was 10 yrs ago, this place was a very dirty place. Including but certainly not limited to, cockroaches in the bathrooms on several occasions. It has been 10yrs since I even thought about walking into this place. First of all the pizza is atrocious. But more importantly, the last time I went in I ordered a couple of slices but stressed that I didn’t want it put in the oven. Not only did they do the complete opposite it also CAUSED A SERIOUSBURN, WHICH I STILLHAVETHISDAY. I spit out the pizza, with the cheese and sauce dripping from my mouth, crying in such pain. The cheese even went through my jeans and burned my left leg. No apologies not even a refund. Such horrible service. Ever since than, I’ve been going to Satelite. Right down the road, and highly recommending them to everyone and anyone. Not only are they a bunch of the sweetest people I’ve ever met but they truly treat you like family. They take care of you and make sure that everything is ok. They continuously clean and sterilize their kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. Not even a crumb on the floor.

I was loyal customer for a bit, until the third time walking in, standing in line, waiting my turn, only to get bypassed by someone they know, AGAIN. Had to walk out AGAIN shaking my head and this last time there were 4 people working behind the counter, 1 making pizza. I waited patiently for them to help the 2 customers before me till I was the only one standing there, 2 minutes later another customer walks in. «Hey my friend what can I get for you» that wasn’t directed towards me but the guy that just walked in. For a small town on Long Island with quite a few pizza places, you better have great customer service. Mine was horrible, if I could leave half a star I would. Prices are different with everyone that rings me up. I was a custoemr atleast 3 times a week, sometimes almost everyday. I always recommended the place to friends and visitors. I won’t make that mistake anymore. I’m sure you know who I am now, NJ.

3.5 Stars(Sorry, wouldn’t ever go higher for a pizza place). Best Pizza place in the Bayport/Sayville area. Delicious pizza with lots of other tasty options. Great service with friendly staff. They make Gluten Free Pizza too.

Best classic Italian in Bayport. Great pizza, my daughter and I love the clams. My daughter’s fav is the fresh tomato pizza. The garlic sauce on it us sweet and delicious. My son loves the Sicilian and I love the grandma. The whole menu is yummy, large portions, and satisfying. The staff is Family and make you a part of theirs. I’m always called by name. Plus they cater and have done two large family parties we almost never had leftovers. So, we order extra. I LOVETHESEGUYSANDGALS. Mangia bene, ridi spesso, ama molto.

Have to say it has been a while since I ordered from Tony’s. Don’t know why. This is the best pizza. I write this as I’m on my second slice. Just so I don’t forget. Not much to look at, but those are the real joints. Try it. I’ve always ordered from Agean. Not anymore. Closer and better. And not a hit on Agean, They are good also.

We have lived near Tony’s for three years now and have been stopping in here more lately than ever before. We are very spoiled here in Bayport with at least 5 good pizza places within minutes. Tony’s does what it does very well and for a price that is hard to beat. My father and step mother are in love with the fresh tomato and mozzarella pizza and can’t pass it up when they are here. The grandma is very good and you won’t find it cheaper anywhere in the area. The heroes are also very good quality and tasty. We haven’t had the entrees yet but the salads we have had were average to above average depending on who made it. As the other reviews state, décor is dated but real Italians are there practically ever night making sure the quality pizza keeps coming. This is our 2nd favorite pizza place in town(Furci’s is still our favorite). This is no knock on Tony’s place at all and for the price Tony’s is the best in town hands down.

Pretty good place that’s been here forever! I heard that this is the third owner, but the recipes were passed along each time keeping the food good quality. The owners now are pretty straight forward, not the most polite people in the world. Overall a nice local pizza/Italian food place.

I hate to gripe about no.5’s on Unilocal but this is a 3.5 pizza joint. It’s a local spot where you’re greeted by the counter guys. Tony’s has probably been here for awhile the sign above the entrance is weather beaten and the décor is dated. The Pizza is done right. I came here for a «1 and 1» Neapolitan was thin lightly seasoned and the sauce and cheese were good quality, balanced sweet and tangy tomato balance. The Sicilian was fluffy with a crispy bottom. Not a destination spot but it’s good to try in the area or if curiosity gets to you if you’ve passed the place 500 times like I have.
