Amazing Lash Studio

I have worn eyelash extension for at least a year. The strips are heavy and they remove the natural lashes. I got up enough nerves to try Amazing lashes, I don’t regret taking that step. I enjoy the time between myself and the Ms. Natasha, she does a wonderful job. I wish that I had discovered Amazing Lash Studio between trying the strip lashes. I encourage those that are not sure. Let me first start off with this is an open and honest review im not going to sugar coat or over exaggerate first off im only giving it three stars & that’s because my first two times here I left highly disappointed. Previously living in Houston I have worn lash extensions several times so I was excited to see this place come to Beaumont so I signed up online to be invited to the grand opening party. However this was not a party, this was for the stylist to get some practice on an actual client and since it was free I decided to give it a try. After being given a stylist and taken to room I let her know I was on my lunch break and seeing that in the past my full sets usually took about an hour and a half I was livid when it took the girl 3 hours for a full set ! Literally two hours on one eye ! The other eye didn’t look as full because I had to cut her off and let her know I had to get back to work ! She was a sweet girl so I. tried to be understanding when I found out she had never done eyelash extensions before which was apparent by the look of the lashes and the time she took. Never the less I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got a membership ! The second time I go into the studio I ask the receptionist for a recommendation because I was on a time schedule and didn’t have three –four hours to spend on getting lashes done, big mistake this lady was even worse than the first girl time wise 2 ½ hours for a refill which normally takes 45 mins, but that’s not the killing part when I got up the lashes were already falling off. She was telling me she had to place 3 – 4 lashes on one of my real lashes since they were so fine and even I knew that this wasn’t the way it was suppose to be done. When I pointed out the mistakes to her this lady had the nerve to start blaming me as to why they were coming off ! Im not the one to argue over a service that I’m paying for, so When checking out the receptionist noted how disappointed I was and had the manager shonte” call me. Shonte was very friendly and apologetic and told me to come back into the studio and she would give me an entire new set of lashes free of charge. I then asked Shonte who does she let do her lashes & she recommended me a stylist name zarissa. I agreed to come in for the full set with zarissa but my thought process was if they didn’t get it right this time I was going to cancel my membership. During my appointment with zarissa she was professional, efficient and even gave me product knowledge on how to grow my real lashes out. The previous stylist left my lashes all clumped and stuck together so it did take her a while but I told her I didn’t mind as long as she fixed my lashes correctly ! Zarissa still didn’t take as long as the other two ladies and when I got up and looked in the mirror my lashes were absolutely beautiful. I got many many compliments on them and majority couldn’t tell if they were real or fake which I love because to me that’s the whole point of getting eyelash extensions ! I asked for Zarissa’s card so I could remember her name but I didn’t book a follow up appointment right away becuase The next thing was to see how long they would last. To my surprise I went almost 6 weeks with no refill ! When I finally had the time to go back to the studio I called and asked for Zarissa’s availability She was out working in Houston the few times I was available (which was a bit disappointing) but I didn’t want to book with anyone but her so I waited it out ! I finally got in to see zarissa last Saturday and she didn’t disappoint me at all ! My lashes look beautiful, full and natural how I like them. What I liked the most is I didn’t even have to tell her she remembered me from the last appointment which was back in the beginning of December ! She was still fast, efficient and friendly and our conversations made the time fly by. If you are looking for a great lash stylist I recommend zarissa. I am a very very picky person & when I spend my money I want it to be worth it so if im satisfied I guarantee she won’t disappoint you.

I really wanted to love this place, as I was very excited to see it opening in Beaumont. Unfortunately after 2 days of getting them done, the lashes themselves started falling out (taking with them my natural eyelashes). This is after using only their products to care for the lashes (which by themselves are stiff, get tangled over each other easily, and do not look natural in any way). Overall, very disappointed and hoping I can regrow eyelashes quickly.
