Good fresh food, fast. Friendly service. I had the Orange chicken and it was delicious. Tasted made from scratch with huge chunks of chicken breast. The soup was delicious and the eggrolls piping hot and tasty. Whenever I am in town, I always stop by for a meal.

Not bad chineeeeeese. All the basics; hot, quick, plentiful. I like the fact that they fry in canola oil and use low sodium soy sauce. Fried rice is not greasy. Solid B+ for JoJo in my books.

Good food and fast. Ordered takeout a number of times and it’s usually ready in about 10 minutes. Recommend the Cheese Puffs, Moo Shu Pork, Chicken Lo Mein.

We were patrons of this place for years. The food was always fresh and good. However, the place is now looking really run down, the air conditioning is either not working or pushed way up, and their booths all smell like urine. We just walked out today without eating. Nauseating. Won’t be back.

LOL. The post above reads FAST Chinese… This is NOT a FASTFOOD Chinese restaurant, it is a very nice fine dinning restaurant, with beautiful tables/booths dinner ware, and excellent service, that post I think was implying the food comes out fast.

Clean and fast Chinese service restaurant! Food is delicious and plentiful! Lunch portions are generous! Both the hot and sour soup and egg drop soup are tasty! Egg rolls are average but the sweet and sour sauce is really good and comes with a dollop of horseradish mustard sauce! Fried rice is excellent! My husband’s favorite is the General Tso’s chicken! We also enjoy the Hunan chicken and the black pepper chicken!

Terrible! Small portions & many dishes with little to no seasoning! Ordered a combination dish with beef, chicken & scallops. Not an equal amount of each as you would expect, one, yes 1 dime size scallop in the entire dish. Plus the dish covered a ¼ of the plate. Wow!’ I will not return!

Well deserved three stars. The service nears five stars. The server was attentive without being intrusive. Kept the table cleared of empty /used dinnerware. Drinks were freshened frequently. Unfortunately, the food was not on par with the service. Egg roll was stuffed full with all manner of egg-roll-style edibles. Fried pleasingly crisp showing a color of medium brown. There is a picture attached showing them in the background of my hot and sour soup. All I can say is they were devoid of distinct character. Far from anything objectionable. There was no fireworks. My hot and sour soup showed the same recessive nature. It too was packed with an array of happy soup-stuff. Pleasing to the eye but vacant on the palate. There was a bit of chemical tingle but no jolt of flavor. On the other side of the table, my wife’s egg drop soup was a different experience. Wonderful stock of chicken and egg intermingled. The flavor was solid, almost robust. She permitted /spared only two spoonfuls. Fried pork dumplings are very pleasant. Firm little globes of minced pork, combined with savory aromatics. Toothsome. The dipping sauce added another layer of depth. When it comes to entrees, I need to change my game. The Chicken Orange is okay. Yes, it was the routine chunks of chicken, coated and crispy fried, then drenched in a viscous sauce, entrée. This one was moderately sweet and with a pop of orange zest interspersed. Floating in the sauce mixture were pieces of dried peppers – Chiles de Arbol, Cayenne or japones? I have trouble telling the difference on sight. Although, chewing a piece of pepper didn’t provoke a chemical heat response. Wife loves sweet and sour chicken. This representation was pleasing to her palate. I wasn’t interested in tasting another deep fried sauced chicken dish. Besides, she really didn’t want to share so I didn’t feel bad not asking for a bite. My wife said she would not be adverse to returning. I love my wife. If she wants to eat here again, I certainly will be happy to try another dish. However, I will not suggest we return.

I’ve eaten here only at lunch. All of the lunch items are under $ 7 so it’s a really good deal. Food is decent too. A definite recommend for a low budget but you still get good food. Oh and they are generous with the portions too.

Our favorite Chinese in the Golden Triangle area. The orange chicken is outstanding but we have never had anything that wasn’t great

Read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. Well my wife and I were highly impressed. We had the pepper steak lunch special that came with egg drop soup, fried rice and an egg roll… all were great and with drinks and tip we were out of there for only $ 21. We will be back!

I have only been in town for a few months, but Jo Jo’s is easily the best local Chinese food I have found. It is slightly more expensive than most others but it is worth it. Obviously, I don’t expect to find the same level of quality that you would find in the China towns of New York, Boston or San Francisco, but for a small Southeast Texas town it is pretty good.

The worst Chinese food I had in a while. General Chicken was simply cutting chicken into big chunks and drenching it with sauce. Chicken bland with no taste even the plain rice was a disappointment. Waitress rushed us to order then brought cold egg rolls to the table .This place was a big let down never again.

With slim pickings for«Chinese» food that’s not buffet(we don’t care for them) we tried Jo Jo’s based on these evaluations. The positive reviews here are spot on, our steamed dumplings were as good as we’ve ever had and the Moo Shoo matched another restaurant’s that I use as a standard. Clean dining area and attentive staff make this an establishment that I will recommend and frequent.

They have the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. It’s always fresh, the wait is very average, and the prices are reasonable. You can’t go wrong with this place :-)

We ordered delivery from JoJo’s this evening. Everything was delicious with very prompt service. Have eaten there for several years and have never been disappointed. Great Chinese!

As a «regular» I eat here about once a month. It’s def the best«Chinese» in town and it is not a buffet or generic Asian food like a chain. The two things we get time and time again are the special wonton soup and the amazing fried chicken wings… Take that Buffalo Wild Wings!

There isn’t much of a selection for Chinese food in Beaumont. Jo Jo’s is the best option for some decent stuff without the possibility of food poisoning or a serious case of mud-butt. I crave the General Tso’s chicken, which is usually looks like 8 golf ball size chicken balls. They’re killer, ask for them extra spicy to kick it up a notch. I haven’t had much else, but from what I’ve seen it all looks pretty good. Plus, it’s right in the west end mixed in what everything else. Oh, and they deliver.
