Focus Vision Clinic Optometry is directed by Dr. Tanya VanGuilder and has grown to include 3 optometrists, serving over 10,000 patients. Their mission is to deliver Great Vision, Done Right. They stand apart in the region with their modern facilities, top technology in computerized examination equipment and top-notch vision treatment options.
Dr. VanGuilder served 3 years in the United States Navy as a lieutenant clinical optometrist and 1 year as the Naval Hospital Optometry Department Head at Camp Pendleton. She has been appointed to 3 schools as clinical faculty to teach doctoral optometry students, including her current appointment as adjunct faculty to Western University of Health Sciences. She is highly experienced in managing complex cases including pediatrics, geriatrics and specialty contact lenses. She manages pre-op and post-op surgical care for cataract and Lasik surgery. She belongs to all major vision and medical plan provider panels.
