Classic Lube Express

I went to the Walker Road location for the first time a couple weeks ago. The service was fast and courteous. Everything was, as advertised, for $ 19.99. It was a Friday morning so I do not know what the wait time would be if it were busy. I was in an out in about 15 minutes and they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. They just recommended I change my air filter next time. Not much else to say except great job guys!

Had to stop coming here because they forgot to take the old oil out of my car the last time… my car started smoking about a week after… and then my dad checked it and noticed that the oil was VERY full… and definitely much darker than oil should have been after only a week. I was bummed — I used to really like this place (see previous 5 star review!)

Fastest oil change I have had in years. Guess I have gotten used to wating an hour in a waiting room while mechanics work through a long backlog. These guys are, for want of a better phrase, a well-​oiled machine. I didn’t even have to get out of my car. In and out in less than 15 minutes and for an excellent price.

Service was fast, waiting room clean. However in looking over my receipt checklist and reviewing the engine afterwards, something does to match. The checklist states that in addition to an oil change, my car’s various other fluid levels were checked and topped-​off and marked «A-​OK» on the _​complete_​oil change paperwork. However after visual inspection at home I noticed that the wiper and coolant fluid levels are still low– _​untouched_​.
Did I expect a mechanic-​on-​the-​cheap, like some of the other reviews? No.
Do I care about having my car vacuumed and an air freshener of my choice or a mint and «thank-​you» card on the dash? No.
Did I expect a full-​service old change and fluid check that was promised? Yes.
Can I go to a competitor that can do a complete job? Definitely.

Zero star, no customer service at all. They do not know their work. Took my truck for an oil change, and they pointed the stuff that they can make additionally to make money! Didn’t point that i had a «leak». Took it back to them and they said i have an oil leak and didn’t even top off the oil but rather said «it has 200k miles». Never go there!

First of all, thank you for being open a Sunday.
I rolled in for a much-​overdue oil change, and totally expected to spend 30 – 60 mins in the waiting room on my phone.
Here’s what went down:
1:46pm Sat down in the waiting room
1:53pm Mechanic let me know about the difference in blade options
2:02pm Mechanic gave me a friendly suggestion that air filter was dirty and should be changed.
2:06pm Another mechanic drove my car out and let me know they were finished.
Wait, what? Yeah, that’s right. 20 whole mins of waiting. I’m a little bummed, as I was totally expecting do some work on my phone while waiting.
There was even a cute little thank you note with a candy on my dashboard!
You guys are killing me.
But thanks for being fast!

Great service for a great price. $ 19.99 oil change and this is an ongoing deal. They use standard oil but you can bring your own and they will change it for you. When we asked for the price, the person quoted us still $ 19.99 for the oil change even if you bring you own oil. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what I was told. I think there should be a discount if you bring your own product. Otherwise, we waiting less than 15 minutes for the service once our car entered the garage. The wait time total is dependent on how many cars are actually in line, but the service was relatively quick. They also check your cabin and air filters. Overall, great value. I’ll most likely be back since the price beats most other businesses and the price is fixed.

They are fast and friendly. I don’t know what type of motor oil they use but I rather have new oil every 3,000 miles than old oil. $ 19.99 for oil service and they accept credit cards. I do watch and confirm they change my filter and oil. All I have to say this «Bueno, Bonito y Barato»

Been getting our oil changed now for going on 4 years at this very location. They spot problems before they happen, and have even repaired ‘ON THE SPOT!’. Everyone is focused and friendly when engaging conversations. High turnover place, the technicians are dedicated, loyal and very quick. I’ve seen them knock down long lines in no more than 15mins for those waiting in line. Best part, they have FREE WIFI for you while you wait– so stream Netflix and catch up on a show if they are busy. Its well worth it.
Personally, I like to thank them for always looking out for our nearby business too. Cheers to Scott, Paul, MaryJane, Ben, Jerry and Fran-​CINCO! (the man with 5 jobs!) for always getting our vehicle serviced quickly.

(Long story short i wanted to learn how to change my own oil at home, so i did and i screwed up and didn’t know what was going on so i took it to Classic Lube.)
The people here blew me away with how friendly and helpful they were!
They really went over and beyond to help me. They didn’t send me away until they were positive that they couldn’t fix it. I will come back and i will recommend my friends and family!

Did I fail to provide the correct engine type or did you fail to ask? Am I running your business or are you? Seems to me that if you know that you charge according to the different engine types perhaps you will provide your customers that information for those who do not know. Apparently, I wasn’t asked. Also, your comment about my openly admitting to shopping around, wow, you kill me. Who doesn’t? All i’m saying is that for $ 5 difference you would rather me bring my vehicle else where instead and pay them and instead of collecting the cost yourself all for $ 5. So, your bottom line matters to you more just like mine does but you’re in business to make money and be a well-​known business that provides superior customer service to the patrons and their vehicles. hmmm!

This was my fist time coming here and I can honestly say I will return and recommend this place to others.
The women who checked me in was very friendly and Efficient at her job. I pulled into the bay right away and the staff was all friendly and made small talk with me. The one guy recommend that I change my air filter and I did because it was solid black. Not once did I feel pressured by any member of the staff. They refilled all my fluids in my car, they offered to vacuum, checked my tires, washed my windows and placed a thank you card with a mint inside. When I went in to pay they also give you your choice of a fragrance tree for free.
All around great experience and very customer focused. Great customer service.

Came here for the first time a few months ago because it was convenient and cheap. I left satisfied because I got my oil and power steering fluid changed, even though I only wanted my oil changed. I just figured they were being nice by letting me know I needed this extra service done. Paid $ 90 after thinking I was going in for only $ 20.
A couple weeks ago I went in again to get my oil changed, and that’s it. While I was sitting in the waiting room with two other girls I overheard the mechanic come in and tell the girl that she needed a bunch more stuff done to her car, she told him «no». I thought it was weird considering my last time there. Then the mechanic came in and told me I needed something with my transmission and one other thing, along with my oil. I was mad, I told him that every time I come here you tell me I need something else done to my car and told him just to change my oil. After I told them and was paying for my service, they were incredibly rude.
It’s clear that the owner of this place is just trying to make a quick buck by luring people in with a low price and could care less about keeping customers coming back because of good service and prices.

I’m updating my review based off of Scott B.‘s comment.
Scott B is the General Manager of Quick Lube Express. He makes public comments and on all 1-​star reviews on his business, including mine.
He call’s customers liars and he claims their reviews are false. This aggressive behavior fit’s in perfectly with the offensive language, poor management and lack of customer service I received from him and his employees during my visit to his establishment.

My family and I take all our cars here! I’m currently here right now and one of the employees remembered my name before they even saw my car (I parked around the corner). They even asked me how my windshield wipers were doing, I had them replaced 6 months ago! (Again, this was all before they had looked my car up!). It is also reasonably priced and excellent quality service.

Took my G35 here for an oil change, for the 3^rd time now. This time they went above and beyond what most shops would do.
Battery needed to be replaced. (I had noticed that in the mornings it was struggling a bit to start up) they tested the CCA and it was indeed low. (I didn’t ask, they just tested it as part of the service routine) I opted for the new battery (About the same cost as buying from NAPA) except they install it. Saves me the trouble of doing so. They installed the new battery from the shelf and verified that the car started…
I feel here is where most shops would have closed the hood and sent me on my way…
They re-​tested the CCA and seen that it was low and that the new battery wasn’t 100% Ended up swapping it out again for another battery off of the shelf.(I think even maybe a 3^rd time too.) Also noticed that the connector to the battery had cracked and also replaced it as well. Also informed me that I was missing one of my battery tie downs and that I should get that taken care of as well.
They really went above and beyond in my book to make sure it was done right. It reminds me of old the days when I was 16 and changing my own oil and working on cars with the old man. If your going to do it, do it right, even if it takes a bit more time.
Plus the Vacuum, mint and new car smell is always a nice touch.

This particular location has been ANYTHING but professional!
They put in the wrong oil filter in my car as a result it leaked all over and almost ruined my engine because most of the oil leaked out
The same day same time a family a member was also getting her oil changed, they came in trying to sell her the fact that it needed numerous things done that it in fact did not, however she fell for the old look at the colors this means you need an Anti freeze flush, and new Cap ETC.
What they neglected to mention was her radiator was cracked but they did the flush anyway charged her nearly $ 100 for it. When we took it back because Anti freeze was spraying ALL OVER after they had «serviced her car» they said oh yes your radiator is cracked. We can fix that for $ 300 you wont find any better price or work then that.(we did find better with a very reputable facility for $ 180). The REAL mechanic we took it to said CLEARLY her car had a small crack for sometime however once the incompetent so called mechanic at CLASSIC LUBE EXPRESS
put a new cap on her radiator it made more pressure caused the ENTIRE radiator to crack and fall apart! Clearly making the condition worse then it already was. Could have caused the engine to blow and or crack a head gasket
I feel as though the so called mecanice at CLASSIC LUBE EXPRESS seen to females coming and thought we are just ignorant women they could take advantage of! Its ludicrous what they did wont even admit to it. Then try to charge an astronomical amount to fix something when they NEVER should have changed her cap or did a radiator flush until it was properly fixed THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST !!!

This is the business I take all my cars to. The standard oil change is so incredibly affordable, even of you do get a filter or the higher mileage oil your not paying much more. Best yet they keep record of what they have done so they can see exactly when you did things (awesome feature!) not to mention they vacuum for free!

I only take my cars here after obnoxious service from Jiffy Lube and all other major oil change places. The wait is typically pretty short and they surely don’t dilly dally.
Here’s my main love for this place — they don’t press the upsell. Here’s what we suggest for your car and that’s that. Take it or leave it. My last Oil Can Henry experience left me enraged because the guy would NOT leave it alone that I didn’t want an additional $ 200 worth of services. Alleged my car would fall apart if I said no (oddly, I still said no). So that’s a big thing for me.

Four stars can be pretty tricky for any auto-​related business to achieve. I mean, it’s the nature of the beast; upsells and sometimes outright lies are where these places make their money. Every now and then, however, you can find one that is more honest and to the point, staffed by guys who won’t BS you.
That was my experience going in to Classic Lube Express. I went in for an oil change, knowing full well the host of problems that my car had. (My coolant was low and needed flushing BADLY, I haven’t had a power-​steering flush, well, EVER, and my air filter looked like George Burns’ lungs after a weekend in Vegas with the Rat Pack.)
This was something of a test for them, you see. Will they identify only the issues with my car and not invent new ones, or exaggerate the seriousness of my car’s condition?
They performed very well! Not only were they very much to the point, but they were very accurate in naming off the issues my car had, and gave me the run down on price before I even had to ask. There was not a great deal of personability to the whole deal, but then, do you really want that?
I mean, honestly — the more friendly a mechanic is, the more likely they are going to rip you off (at least in my experience.) I have no issues with the service, and my car is running great.
Now if it wouldn’t have taken quite as long to get my car in the bay, then it might have been a flawless experience. A half hour wait, though, for an express oil change is pushing it a bit. It’s a small thing, but hey, a perfect score means a perfect experience.
