Northwest Accessible Design specializes in Universal and Aging-​in-​place design. With over a 100 years combined construction and design experience, we build or remodel for any living condition. Our mission is to provide access for everyone, regardless of ability, to a home or business so that all persons may function equitably. We are certified Aging in Place specialists (CAPS) and Certified Green Professionals and our focus is based around ease of living, sustainability, safety, comfort, ease of access, adaptibility, flexibility, and convenience. We can help make your home able to provide accommodations to everyone regardless of age, size or ability while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing feel. In the near future all homes and products will be built with this design philosophy of meeting the needs of everyone. We can show you how to incorporate some design ideas for current and future circumstances.

Established in 2005.

With over 100 years of combined experience in construction, design, business and three generations of carpentry expertise, Northwest Accessible Design brings modern design technology together with old-​world craftsmanship, producing quality results for todays lifestyle. Above all, we maintain integrity in everything we do.

Meet the Business Owner

Gordon N.

Business Owner

Gordon Nelson has 25 years experience in the construction industry restoring historic buildings in Maryland/​DC area; he most recently completed the restoration of a two hundred year old historic colonial building in Granada, Nicaragua. Gordon has over twenty years of business management, holding a degree in business administration.
