We are an Home Performance Company. We test your home for energy efficiency and present a report on our findings. We specialize in insulation, air sealing and duct sealing. Recently DouthitThermal has become a certified Energy Performance Score Verifier. For new homes we are able to rate the home with a score similar to a «mpg» rating on a vehicle. For existing home customers we are a trade ally of the Energy Trust of Oregon and also an approved Clean Energy Works of Oregon Contractor. History
Established in 2009.
DouthitThermal started as NorhtWest Infrared. In the beginning we were solely an infrared services company. In 2010, we expanded our services to include home performance testing and the last two years we have found our stride in providing accurate information to our customers. Our testing follows the Energy Star program guidelines and also BPI guidelines. In 2012 we have grown again to include new homes, through the EPS verifier program. All of our Technicians are BPI certified, and we have two licensed Infrared Techs on staff also.
The company was started by Jerry, Teresa and Brian Douthit and continues to be a family business. Give us a call we would love to welcome you into our home performance family!

Business Owner
Adam joined us late in 2009. He brought with him BPI credentials including Building Analyst, Building Envelope, Heating specialist and whole house leakage control installer certifications. In 2012 he earned his EPS verifier certification, adding new homes to our growing list of qualifications. Adam is married to his wife Lindsay and has 3 children.
