I had a prolonged ankle injury that only grew worse because of work. I’ve been working with Betsy and in just 4 visits an injury that bothered me for 2 months is 70−80% recovered. Their knowledge and hands-on expertise has by far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this physical therapy clinic to anyone.

I had rotator cuff surgery on December 5, 2013. Not being able to do anything left me rather irritable and depressed. My acupuncturist highly recommended Emily Ohlin. I would see her twice a week for a few months and then less as time and improvement dictated. My experiences with two previous physical therapists had been less than helpful and did not feel individualized. But after a few visits with Emily, I felt my mood improving with the detailed attention to my particular shoulder damage and surgery. I’d been given exercises that were challenging at first, but the attention to what I was doing and needing kept the improvement going. I have a very difficult time with directions whether looking at pictures, reading them, or being shown how to do multi– movement exercises. Emily would find ways so that I would be able to remember how to perform the exercises and would check with me if it seemed I didn’t understood them. When I’d run into a roadblock, she’d go over it again for me until I got it. What I appreciated so much was her obvious concern with my improvement as I’m certain she is with all her patients. She also noticed how my rounded shoulders contributed to my shoulder problems and worked with me on that. She worked on my core strength as that is also necessary. I never felt cheated on time as with others and unlike the other physical therapists, she did hands on stretching of my muscles, etc., whenever needed. Emily obviously has the know-how, experience, concern, and personality to give the most and get the most out of people with shoulder injuries. I already have suggested others see her for their problems. My range of motion is so much improved and I have many exercises to continue improving. I would never hesitate to see her again if ever the need arises.

I have seen Emily Ohlin twice over the last two years for different injuries, both times with exceptional results. She is an expert in her field and was able to quickly determine the root cause of my injury and come up with a treatment plan which got me back into my sport within a few weeks and soon thereafter competing 100%. Prior to seeing Emily, I spent months working with other Physical Therapists and other Sports Physicians with little improvement to my symptoms and was getting discouraged. Emily fit me on several of my bikes to ensure they did not contribute to injury. I am happy with the results and will go back to her for future bike fittings or fit questions/adjustments. I would not hesitate to recommend Emily Ohlin to friends, family, or anyone else for their physical therapy, sports injury, or bike fitment needs.

1.5 years ago I got a sports injury that left me unable to do any real weight bearing or impact activities on my left leg. After a primary care Dr., a sports medicine Dr., a knee surgeon(resulting in a knee surgery), multiple scans and a physical therapist, I was further behind 10 months later than I was at the time of injury and medical staff were perplexed and with no real diagnosis. They told me it must be «early onset arthritis in my knee. Sorry and good luck.» I just couldn’t buy into this diagnosis so when a friend recommended I see Emily Ohlin with SportsCare PT I jumped on the recommendation. Within ONE session she said to me,” Your hip is failing, not your knee.” I had felt this all along but couldn’t get anyone to take me seriously let alone look at my hip. Ultimately she correctly diagnosed my problem, got me to the right surgeon and has been beyond sensational in her therapy treatment. I recently ran my first mile after 1.5 years and it felt great! When multiple other doctors couldn’t figure out my injury and given up on my recovery, Emily dug in further. I completely feel like I owe the preservation of my active life to Emily. Emily isn’t just a «text book» PT. She is smart, knows so much about the body and how her field applies to it and truly has the best intentions for her patients. I can’t recommend her enough.
