This restaurant was opened on November 30th, 2015. It is the sister restaurant of Alchemy-Modern American Eatery in Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood.
Meet the Business Owner
Debi and Michael M.
Business Owner
Owner Debi Bell-Matassa is Alchemy Elements’ Sommelier and Pastry Chef. Debi studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley and is a member of the Society of Wine Educators. She holds a Sommelier Certification through the Associazione Italiana Sommelier. Debi was also owner of the popular Fusion Grille in Fallston and current owner/sommelier of Alchemy Modern American Eatery in Baltimore.
Michael is the former Chef/Owner of the Fusion Grille in Harford County and current chef/owner of Alchemy Modern American Eatery in Baltimore. He studied at the Academy of Culinary Arts in Atlantic City and holds a Culinary Masterworks Certification. Michael has worked as a Corporate and Executive Chef for hotels, restaurants & resorts for over 35 years.
