Nautilus Seafood & Grill

A beautiful night on a waterfront location. Service was slow to begin with and became even slower when we were told 45 minutes after ordering that there had been a mix up in the waitresses part and our order was now front of the line — took another 20+ minutes! The seafood pie was piping hot, the crab cakes and baked potato were mildly warm — the offer of a free drink was lost when it came when we had already eaten. Even though they offered us a discount and apology, the manager never came over to apologize. The restaurant was not that busy for a Thursday evening. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Disappointed! Arrived to a cute, waterfront restaurant. Large group of 10 leaving when we got here. Two female greeters seemed lost on where to put us Multiple open seats available. Elderly couple walked in a few minutes later. They were immediately greeted. They chose outside dining and in the middle of walking thru the restaurant, changed their mind. We are still waiting to be seated and they started to seat the elderly couple before us. Thankfully, a lady came to the front and told them to seat is first.
The hubs ordered a Bloody Mary and I tea. We were admiring the waterfront and finally decided to go when the drinks arrived. The Bloody Mary had melted quite a bit and very bland for taste

We had onion rings for an appetizer. Hard as a rock. The dipping sauce was good
We had salmon and swordfish. No seasoning and very little taste even tho the swordfish was char grilled. The mashed potatoes and butternut squash were very good
Our drinks were empty most of our meal. Finally had to ask for our check. Then, the lady who has some type of supervisor role came by and offered us more water. Little late for that. No one ever asked if we enjoyed our meal. Had to ask for the ticket. We paid and in the middle of trying to exit the table, our server reached over me and said let me get these. How rude!
As we were leaving, spoke with the lady who is maybe a supervisor? Told her about our experience and all she said was I’m sorry. Have a good night. Definitely not worth $ 62 and some change.
Expected a much better experience

We had a really good lunch here today. My fried haddock sandwich was perfect, as were the fried clams my husband enjoyed. Mom liked her broiled haddock and we all shared a decadent brownie hot fudge sundae. The service was friendly and prompt. The prices are reasonable.

This was the first place I tried, on my first visit to Maine. The restaurant was nice and had a modern feel to it. A really nice view of the bay, and plenty of windows to take advantage of the view. Service was a bit on the slow side. But the server took very good care of us, and was very nice. The food was very tasty and nice portion sizes. Although I didn’t pay, I thought the prices were very reasonable. I had the Lobster Mac N Cheese, and some hand cut Onion Rings. The pasta was slightly over cooked (personal preference), but was nice and cheese and lots of lobster. The onion rings were too thin (again personal preference), but were very good and served with a horseradish dipping sauce that I highly recommend. If you have the chance to try it, it’s is worth it!

I really enjoyed the food. I was taken here for an early birthday dinner on Saturday evening. My table ordered the pulled pork poutine as an appetizer. Yum! It was delicious. The pulled pork was incredibly tender and the bbq sauce on it was delicious. The fries by themselves were just average, but the pulled pork and cheese made them much better. For my entrée I ordered the haddock with crab stuffing, asparagus, and herb flavored white rice. Everything was yummy! The haddock had a nice buttery/​creamy sauce with lots of flavor. I really enjoyed the crab stuffing and there was plenty of it. My husband ordered the filet mignon and asked for it to be cooked medium. When he received his dinner and cut into it, he was a little disappointed as they cooked the steak well-​done. He ended up eating it, but wasn’t completely satisfied with the way it was cooked. As far as service, it was good! Our waitress was nice and attentive. Location of the restaurant is lovely.

Service is very friendly, and the food was outstanding!!! Came for a late lunch, and had the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese with a local draft beer. The entrée was overflowing with tasty lobster, and was cooked to perfection! The open faced turkey lunch special was also very tasty!!! I will definitely be back if I’m ever back up in the area! The views are also great!!!

I’m being generous with these two stars. How food can be so bland is beyond me. The server never checked with us to ask how the meal was, otherwise I would have sent my meal back. When this conversation did happen, the server informed me that I could have requested seasoning… as if seasoning is not standard. Speaking of, it was all around bad service. Why did I leave a decent tip… Not sure. Terrible dining experience that realistically does not deserve that second star… unless you are in dire need of a harbor view while you eat… even then, go to any of the hundreds of other eateries along the coast. There are numerous better locations within walking distance.
