Fitness by Design

Shirley Kayser is a wonderful personal trainer. I worked out with her at the Bellaire Rec Center but she has clients in various gyms in the general River Oaks/​Galleria/​West U/​Meyerland area. I’d been virtually sedentary for years and she got me going, working around my aching knees and a foot injury. Shirley is pleasant, while being all business. She’s always on time and knows a variety of ways to exercise any area of the body to accommodate your level of fitness. I’ve since «graduated» to the Y gym where I’m happily putting in an hour and a half of strength training 3 times a week. That wouldn’t have been possible for me before Shirley. If I get stuck or need to focus on a particular area, I’m going back to her, so it’s with just a little anxiety that I post this, hoping she’ll still have room for me when I need her again. She’s so good, though, I had to return the favor and let everyone know.
