History

Established in 1998.

Queen of Heirs opened their Bellaire, Texas, little blue cottage location in November of 2003. What started as a dream over 25 years ago, blossomed into the finest antique & estate jewelry store in Bellaire, Texas. We have now moved just inside Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers, just north of the famed Galleria, at 1801 Post Oak Blvd.

Business Owner

Owner, Robin Lindberg, began a love affair with old jewelry in her early 20′s. Her family dubbed her the «Queen of Heirs» after a windfall of estate jewelry came her way from an aunt in New Orleans, Louisana. It was then that she realized jewelry was her passion and what better time than now to learn about each piece bestowed upon her.

After raising her one son and working for years in the family business, Robin leaped at the chance to open her own store. She has had two locations, both were located in the heart of Bellaire, Texas. «Eye candy» is the way Robin’s customers describe her shop.

We have now moved our cases of glistening jewelry pieces inside Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers at 1801 Post Oak Blvd., Houston, Texas, just north of the famed Galleria. It’s business as usual… just at a new address! Please drop in and see us!

This past December, I visited the store during its holiday party. What a wonderful time it was to be a Queen of Heirs customer! Aside from the festive decorations and delicious munchies, fabulous jewelry was available the entire evening. I was truly looking forward to attending the party because I was on the hunt for a gorgeous piece of jewelry to mark a milestone birthday. Robin came through and had several great rings that caught my eye.
After some serious debate, I decided on an amethyst and diamond stunner. Along with it being on sale, it held lots of sentimental value because both of my great-​grandmothers were born in February. I know it may seem a bit corny but that ended up being a significant factor in my decision to choose this ring.
Again, I would like to acknowledge and thank Chrisie for her encouragement, help, and excitement during my search. She knows how to find what catches my eye. I’ve left her with a couple of wish list items to be on the lookout for in the future. LOL
Believe me, Queen of Heirs has something for you. I will definitely be back and encourage you to visit soon!

Appropriately located in the Bellaire area, where most folks have more dollars than sense, lies the Queen of Heirs in all her splendor. If eBay didn’t exist, I too would be rused by Robin. And even if eBay didn’t exist, the service is so obnoxiously pretentious, I was terrified to ask the price of anything. Very much «if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.»

What an adorable little place! It was my first stop in looking for an antique engagement ring and I’m sad I didn’t find the one here as I would have loved to buy from them. It’s a small store but a good collection. They also have a good amount of bands. Her antique box collection is to die for! (Not for sale though) I wouldn’t sell them either! Anyway, I now follow them on Instagram and look forward to going back and making a purchase. Perfect little antique jewelry store. Out of the 6 we went to in the Houston area, it was my favorite!

Queen of Heirs is the place to go for engagement rings if you want to create something unique for your bride to be. My Fiancé went on his own and created the perfect engagement ring. I had no idea what i wanted and he was able to create the ring of my dreams. With the help of Robin and her staff of course. They were all truly a pleasure to work with. Not only do they create masterpieces, they have an amazing selection of vintage rings, diamonds, and most all jewelry. I recommend this store to anyone for any future jewelry purchases. Buy something beautiful and vintage or create something uniquely perfect.

Queen of Heirs is a lovely shop that is perfect if you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry. My fiancé and I went a few different places in search of a vintage engagement ring. I was open to many different styles and tastes and unsure of what I wanted, but when I walked in, Queen of Heirs helped me narrow down my favorites to a manageable few. They were very conscious of my budget. I spotted and tried on a gorgeous $ 5000 ring with sapphires and when I said I loved it, but I was looking for something less expensive, the consultant immediately pulled another ring that looked very similar and was in our price range ($ 2000). This one was my favorite and my fiancé could tell :) He went back alone and purchased my engagement ring there and they were incredibly helpful in re-​sizing and getting the ring appraised.
This weekend, we went to the shop to search for a wedding band. I will say that the wedding bands were a little pricier than I expected, but we found a stunning one from the 1920’s that was reasonably priced ($ 400) and goes with the style of my engagement ring. Again, we had great service and everyone was very helpful — especially Robin, the owner of the shop.
If I am ever looking for elegant pieces of jewelry with real stones or vintage details, I will always shop Queen of Heirs!

I popped into queen of heirs withy my parents. They wanted to buy a graduation present for me and instantly thought of queen of heirs. My husband and I had the best experience purchasing a Edwardian engagement ring and custom making a wedding band here. Robin is very knowledgable and lovely to chat with. All the ladies who work there are. We found a beautiful diamond necklace from the 1940s. They spent a lot of time with us searching the store for something within our price range. Kind and helpful always. I can’t recommend them enough.

I am the fortunate recipient of some amazing Unilocal reviewers who helped me find this place. I just purchased an engagement ring for my now fiancé and the entire process more than exceeded my expectations. Robin and her staff were so helpful and there was never a moment of pressure to buy. My fiancé is in her late 20’s and loves vintage jewelry. I was able to find a truly original piece that came from an estate sale and had a really beautiful history behind it. Robin also went out of her way to show me all the other ways we could dress the ring up with some beautiful bands.
If your girl likes history and one-​of-​a-​kind pieces, stay away from the mall and visit Queen of Heirs first. I know I’ll be coming back here for the bands and future gifts too!

Queen of Heirs is my favorite jewelry store in Houston. My engagement ring, wedding band, and husbands ring are all from here. I’ve told many people about how much we love the store and Robin! She has spent so much time just talking with us (and I’ll let you know, we aren’t big spenders).
Go here. So much better than A Past Era and other stores.

This sweet little blue house is like a treasure box filled with jewels, literally. The merchandise inside is really beautiful and high quality. I came here looking for my wedding band and I knew that I wanted an etched band no diamonds. The lady at the counter pulled out 10 – 15 bands and a lot of them were out of my price range. I finally found a platinum band from the 1920s that was very reasonable and was in the style I wanted. I was concerned at first given platinum prices, but I learned that they base their pricing on the prices they get for it. If they got a good price on it they will also give you a good deal. They were kind enough to put it on hold for me until Tuesday so I could think about it. I came back and got the ring and found out it was too big so I paid to get it sized which was fairly reasonable at $ 60. The overall experience and customer service was excellent and considering how many other ladies, mostly the older crowd were in here, queen of heirs is a great place to buy a piece of history. One last thing to note, is that everything is pretty expensive ($ 1000 for a necklace) so look around and tell them your range so they can help you find something in your budget.

I can’t say enough good things about Robin and Queen of Heirs. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here and it is absolute perfection. It is a three stone halo ring from the 1950’s with an E color (!) center stone. I get compliments on it all the time. Seriously, go here and then go to a big box store like Robbins Bros or Jared and you will see that the quality of vintage jewelry is unparalleled. Aside from the quality, vintage pieces are unique and you will never see anyone else with your ring!
Robin is extremely fair in her pricing and you will not get a better deal at any other jewelry shop. Shopping here was an absolute pleasure. They will also work with you if, say, you want to replace the center stone with a larger one or if you want to replace some diamonds with sapphires. Amazing service! Go here immediately!

Robin is awesome and amazing! She really loves what she does and you can tell this by all the knowledge she has about jewelry and diamonds. She really takes care of her customers. She is very reasonable with prices because doesn’t want one quick sell but instead really wants to get to know and keep her clients. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here and it is beautiful and unique. All of her jewelry is one of a kind unlike the mainstream jewelry stores! We will continue to go back to Queen of Heirs, we’ve already gone back once for our wedding bands!

Queen of Heirs indeed does have the finest antique jewelry in Houston. I bought a diamond engagement ring for my fiancée from Robin. She was helpful through every step of the process in selecting the diamond and finding an appropriate platinum ring. My fiancée has tiny fingers, so finding a ring and stone that would look great on her hand was my greatest concern and Robin with her years of experience helped guide me through the decision process. We had some custom work done and they were able to exceed my expectations and have the ring ready in time for me.
Through the process I saw her interact with countless couples and guys with that deer in the headlights look. On every occasion she took the time to make them feel at ease and helped educate them about the process. She’s indeed like the sweet fairy god mother everyone should have.
Also I had no doubts that I got an extremely fair price and as witnessed by the independent appraisal I received, I paid far less than what the ring is valued at! Woohoo!!! Overall one of the best shopping experiences of my life for a large ticket purchase and I would recommend Queen of Heirs to anyone looking for a unique one of a kind experience and diamond rings. I’ll be back soon to buy the wedding rings and one day I’m sure I’ll get a nice watch from this fantastic jewelry store.

I would definitely not recommend ever patronizing the Queen of Heirs. My mother dropped off 2 pieces of jewelry to be repaired in January. She was told that the jewelry would be ready in 2 weeks. My mother called the store several times to see if her jewelry was ready but received no response. In the middle of March she finally stopped by to pick up her jewelry deciding that she would take it elsewhere to be repaired. When she entered the store and inquired about picking up her jewelry the owner of the store became extremely belligerent and verbally attacked my mother. My mother is an 80 year old woman, recently widowed and a very meek and polite person. The owner was yelling at her to «get out of her store and «don’t come back». Needless to say my mother was mortified by this experience and has never been treated like this. We don’t really have an explanation for why the owner of Queen of Heirs reacted like this but our family is extremely upset by this behavior as is our mother. We will be filling complaints with this woman with the BBB as well as possibly exploring pressing criminal charges for her extremely abusive and threatening conduct. My mother is scared and traumatized by the treatment she received at the Queen of Heirs. No one should be treated like this, particularly an elderly and defenseless woman. Please do not patronize Queen of Heirs!

Great Jewelry, Great People, Great Prices. What more could you ask for? I have shopped with them several times at the Bellaire store and stop by and see them twice a year at Warrenton. Their jewelry is beautiful and worth every penny. Robin and her team are extremely caring and beyond easy to work with! I have bought several unique pieces of jewelry from them and always get complements. If Queen of Heirs doesn’t have what you need, they will also work with you to see if the piece can be created. I don’t need to shop at another jewelry place and once you visit you won’t either! :)

My fiancé and I got engaged six months ago, and when we finally decided to go find a ring, we stopped by Queen of Heirs «just to see». Robin was amazing! We told her what I was looking for and what our price range was, and she pulled out several gorgeous rings that would have worked beautifully. Then, she pulled out an unbelievably «me» sapphire filigree ring from the 1910s that was just stunning. Everyone in the room knew the second that I saw it that it was to be mine. I’m so happy with it, and I was so impressed with the service and the price. The experience of shopping for my engagement ring was just as wonderful as the ring is.

GO HERE. Seriously. Even if you aren’t in the market for jewelry, if you’re in the area, STOP BY.
My (now) fiancée and I were beginning our search for an engagement ring (no, I wasn’t going to let him do that by himself) and QoH was the second place we went to. We got to the shop which is in a tiny house called the Magnolia House. When we opened the door, the jewelry case looked like a treasure box. Robin was SUPER nice and she showed us rings that were in our price range.
I tried a few rings on after finally settling on a beautiful cushion cut ring from the late 1800’s. The process was so much fun and we are going back to get my band made. I get compliments all the time about how beautiful my ring is (SCORE!) and am so happy that we discovered Queen of Heirs!

I have to agree with everything Dusty mentioned in his review.
Queen of Heirs, located just south of the Galleria in Houston, provided an experience that I, nor my fiancé’ will soon not forget. Robin is an amazing, cheery personality, and has some of the most unique antique and estate jewelry that I came across in my search for the perfect ring. She was readily willing to mix and match stones from other rings /​earrings with the bands that I liked most.
The ring I chose was from the 1920’s, and had beading that was handcrafted in the gold. The level of detail on the band was something I had not seen before, as current machining technology can’t provide the level of quality that an authentic antique can. The «vintage» knockoffs available as new, have little to offer next to a band by Queen of Heirs.
Robin was such a pleasure to work with. I spent a total of 2 hours with her, looking over her gallery of rings. She really does add a personal touch to the buying experience. I had looked online, my brother had a «guy» off Richmond, and all of the chain stores did not even come close to the value and service I received from Robin at Queen of Heirs. Next time I shop for jewelry, I know where to go first.

Queen of Heirs (inside Magnolia House) has an impressive collection of authentic antique jewelry that will make your (or her) heart melt.
Before you decide on an engagement ring or another important piece of jewelry, you have to stop by for a look! Who knew you could get a completely unique, sparkling piece of history for less than you would pay for a loosely fashioned replica at a franchise location?
And, I have to mention Robin, the shop owner. From day one, I knew I had made a friend for life. It is so refreshing to see someone committed to making business personal again.
