Vesely Brothers Moving & Storage.

I would never use this company again. Initially, they seemed great, and the guys they sent to pack my stuff were very professional. However, they under-​estimated the amount of labor needed for the job, made plans to do extra packing on the first day that they never told me about even when I called that day to ask what should be packed, and did not send enough people to complete the move in the days allotted.
When it became clear that there was a problem, they tried to suggest I had changed the number of belongings in the home, tried to retro-​actively charge me extra for part of the move that had been completed, and wanted me to sign an extra quote. Vesely also would not send any extra guys out, instead they want to charge us for an extra day of moving, which is of course much more expensive than an extra person or two on the original day.
As an aside, multiple companies I spoke with told me that their quotes were limited to 110% of the original quoted value (I don’t remember whether Vesely said this or not). BEWARE: for in-​state moves, the federal regulations that require this do not apply — in PA, you have to pay more if they under-​estimate, by weight and labor, no matter how badly they screw up the estimate.
I attribute most of these problems to the estimator — the guys who did the packing were great, worked hard, and did a very reasonable job of protecting my stuff from damage.

They moved my mom from Pittsburgh to San Antonio. She is 91. They were first class from the estimate to the completed move. Stood by their word and first class people. Also their bid was much lower than South Hills Movers.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! They damaged and lost several of my items and did not offer to pay for them other than the minimum amount of liability. They essentially told me they do not believe that items are lost despite my producing a receipt and filing a police report. They are awful. Avoid using them at all costs.

I used Vesely brothers for my last two moves and both went off smoothly. We had them pack us as well as do the move and nothing was broken either time. They even have specialist who can come in and tackle furniture that needs to be taken apart and put back together.
Moving is right near the top of my list of things I hate doing — but Vesely Brothers made it easy… almost… fun?
